Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

When Principal Wang Guihua approached the three beauties, she immediately frowned. Upon seeing this, Lili quickly whispered to Yu Lan, who was standing beside her, ”We’re doomed. It’s all our fault for constantly bad-mouthing Wang Guihua. Now she’ll never give the scholarships to us…”

Yu Lan nodded regretfully. ”If we had only known she had the power to award scholarships worth $300,000, we would have never made fun of her, let alone laughed at her…”

Compared to the guilt felt by Lili and Yu Lan, Xue Lianmei was confident. ”Don’t be afraid, sisters,” she said. ”I think Principal Wang Guihua will definitely award the scholarships to the three of us.”

Hearing Xue Lianmei’s words, Lili shook her head vigorously. ”Little sister Xuelian, you’re being too fanciful. Women are fickle, petty, and hold grudges. After the way we treated Wang Guihua, how could she possibly give such huge scholarships to us? She’s not stupid.”

Yu Lan also firmly believed that Wang Guihua would not award the scholarships to them. However, just as they were convinced they had no chance, Wang Guihua smiled at the three of them and walked over. She stepped forward, placed a hand on Lili’s shoulder, and addressed all the students.

”Listen up, everyone. I have just awarded two scholarships to two men. Now, I will award the remaining scholarships to three women.

”The first is Miss Lili. Although she is the chairman’s daughter and comes from a wealthy family, she is an exceptionally diligent, hardworking, and motivated young woman. She never gives up, nor does she act spoiled because of her affluent background…”

With that, Principal Wang Guihua handed a bank card to Miss Lili. Stroking her head, she added, ”Miss Lili, the school’s scholarship award of $300,000 has been deposited onto this bank card. Take good care of it. This holds your scholarship money.”

When Miss Lili saw that Principal Wang Guihua had truly awarded her the $300,000 scholarship, she felt a pang of guilt. ”Wang Guihua… after the way we treated you… not only did you not get angry, but you still gave us this $300,000 scholarship. We feel so incredibly guilty…”

Wang Guihua smiled. ”It’s fine. Let’s let bygones be bygones. After all, we’re all fans of Brother Zhao Rong, aren’t we?” As she spoke, she turned to smile at Zhao Rong.

When Zhao Rong heard Principal Wang Guihua claim to be his fan, he was stunned. I never dreamed that as a new student who has only been at the women’s university for a few days, I would somehow become the principal’s idol! The principal is my fan!

He couldn’t help but shake his head. It seems my chances of successfully pursuing Principal Wang Guihua have just shot up.

After awarding the scholarship to Miss Lili, Principal Wang Guihua moved toward Yu Lan, who felt terribly embarrassed and shyly lowered her head. Wang Guihua stepped forward, shook her hand, and said, ”Yu Lan, you are also an exceptional student. Though you’re usually very low-key, the kindness, courage, and wisdom that radiate from within you have earned our admiration. Therefore, you deserve the women’s university’s $300,000 scholarship.”

Hearing Principal Wang Guihua’s words, Yu Lan was stunned. I’m just a woman with a big chest and no brain. Forget wisdom, my IQ even seems a bit lower than average. And yet, she still gave me the $300,000 scholarship. A genuine admiration for Principal Wang Guihua began to blossom in her heart.

Yu Lan gave the principal a thumbs-up as she said thankfully, ”Principal, thank you so much for your compliments. Actually, I’m not that exceptional, and I certainly don’t deserve the university’s $300,000 scholarship…”

Hearing Yu Lan’s humble words, Principal Wang Guihua glanced at Zhao Rong before turning back to her. ”Say no more. What can we do? We’re both fangirls of Brother Zhao Rong.”

When Zhao Rong, who was standing nearby, heard Principal Wang Guihua declare herself one of his fangirls, he was so shocked he fell to the ground.

As Zhao Rong scrambled up, he thought, I’m just a male student who’s only been here for two or three days. I haven’t done anything earth-shattering. Plus, I don’t think I’ve left any deep impression on Principal Wang Guihua. How did I get so lucky that she became my fangirl? He shook his head. It must be fate.

At that moment, Principal Wang Guihua walked toward the final beauty, Xue Lianmei, who stepped forward and hugged her as she approached. Xue Lianmei was very poised, speaking to the principal as easily and naturally as if they were old friends.

”Thank you, Principal,” she said with a smile, ”for awarding me such a precious scholarship.”

Principal Wang Guihua smiled back, giving Xue Lianmei a thumbs-up. ”Xue Lianmei, even though you are a girl who always tries to hide her brilliance, we can still see the exceptional qualities that radiate from you, no matter how you try to conceal them. Based on this, I have decided to award you the women’s university’s $300,000 scholarship.”

As she spoke, she handed a bank card to Xue Lianmei.

Taking the card, Xue Lianmei thanked her again. ”Thank you, Principal. I, Xue Lianmei, am truly fortunate to receive such a significant scholarship.”

Principal Wang Guihua saw that Xue Lianmei seemed a little hesitant to accept such a large sum. She glanced back at Zhao Rong and said to Xue Lianmei, ”Don’t worry about it. Besides, what can we do? We both dream of marrying Brother Zhao Rong one day.”

When Zhao Rong heard that Principal Wang Guihua also dreamed of marrying him one day, he was so shocked he plopped right down on the ground.

He stared blankly at Principal Wang Guihua, his mind reeling. I’m just a lowly bodyguard. What have I ever done to deserve having such an outstanding woman dream of marrying me? At the same time, though, my chances of winning her over have just shot up to one hundred percent.

At that point, Principal Wang Guihua had finished awarding all of this year’s scholarships. When she returned to the podium, she addressed the faculty and students. ”I’ve said my piece. Now, let’s have a show of hands. What did you think of my scholarship awards?”

Before she could even finish speaking, the entire school burst into applause. ”The principal is brilliant! The principal is amazing! Her choices were absolutely perfect!”

Hearing the cheers, Principal Wang Guihua looked toward Zhao Rong, his assistant, Lili, Xue Lianmei, and Yu Lan, and gave them a slight smile.

When Zhao Rong saw her turn back and smile, he thought she looked breathtakingly beautiful. At the same time, he couldn’t help but compare Wang Guihua to Lili, Yu Lan, and Xue Lianmei.

After a quick comparison, he suddenly realized something. Compared to Lili, Wang Guihua is taller and has a better figure. Compared to Yu Lan, her chest is bigger and her rear is perkier. And compared to Xue Lianmei, she has more womanly charm… enough to make a man drool.

Unable to help himself, Zhao Rong swallowed hard and licked his lips as he gazed at her.

Just then, the assistant sidled up to Zhao Rong and whispered in his ear, ”Brother Zhao Rong, I think I’m developing a crush on Wang Guihua…”

Hearing that his assistant had a crush on her, Zhao Rong was about to shut him down. But before he could, the assistant stared at Wang Guihua, almost drooling, and said, ”Brother Zhao Rong, I’ve made up my mind. I have to pursue this beautiful, intelligent, and kind woman, Wang Guihua!”

When Zhao Rong heard that his assistant wanted to pursue the very woman he was interested in, he jabbed a finger toward the assistant’s head and warned him, ”Assistant, have you forgotten our mission here at the women’s university?”

The assistant grinned slyly. ”Of course I know our mission is to follow the chairman’s orders. And the chairman’s order is for you, Brother Zhao Rong, to win over the beautiful Wang Guihua. But what’s the purpose of that? It’s to reassure her rich father that his daughter is finally spoken for and can get married, right? Since the goal is the same, the result is identical whether you win her over or I do. Besides, Brother Zhao Rong, you’re so popular with women; you’re always surrounded by beauties. Me? I don’t have a girlfriend. I barely even have female friends. It’s gotten to the point where every night, I have to hide in the bathroom and jerk off…”

The assistant made himself sound utterly pathetic.

Hearing his words, seeing his miserable expression, and thinking about all the inhuman treatment the man had suffered before, Zhao Rong decided to give him a chance first. If the assistant couldn’t win her over, he would have to step aside, and then Zhao Rong himself would personally step in.

So, Zhao Rong said to his assistant, ”Alright. Go ahead and pursue Wang Guihua.”

When the assistant heard Zhao Rong agree, he was ecstatic. He grabbed Zhao Rong’s hands and thanked him profusely. ”Brother Zhao Rong, thank you, thank you so much! You’re finally willing to let one of these beauties go so I can have a chance!”

Zhao Rong looked at the utterly lovesick assistant and offered a friendly warning, ”Assistant, listen up. I’m only giving you one week. If you can win Wang Guihua over within that week, then I wish you all the best. But if you can’t, then I, Zhao Rong, will be stepping in personally.”

Hearing he had one week, the assistant proclaimed confidently, ”A man like me might not be handsome, but I have a special kind of charm. Forget one week, I only need three days to win over the beautiful Wang Guihua!”
