Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

When Zhao Rong switched on the light, the scene before his eyes left him utterly stunned. In the dormitory that was supposed to house Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian, four shirtless men covered in tattoos were fast asleep. The sudden light woke them, and when they saw Zhao Rong standing before them holding a Longsword, they huddled together in terror.

The bald one looked at Zhao Rong and stammered, ”Boss, you appeared in our dorm in the middle of the night without a sound. Are you here to rob us?”

The big-bearded man was so scared his eyes went blank. ”Boss, let’s talk this out, no need for violence. If it’s money you want, we’ll give you everything we have. Just please don’t start slashing people with that sword...”

The mustached man scrambled down from his bed, so scared that he wet himself. He knelt before Zhao Rong, offering up all his money, jewelry, and his phone. ”Boss, don’t kill me! This is all I have, please take it all...”

The big-nosed man pulled out a stack of cash and handed it to Zhao Rong. ”Boss, this is all the protection money we’ve collected recently. As long as you don’t chop us up, you can take it all...”

Looking at the tattooed men, Zhao Rong was puzzled. He scratched the back of his head in surprise and asked, ”What are you guys doing here? Isn’t this dorm 504?”

Hearing this, the bald man immediately explained, ”Boss, we’re the bullies of this women’s college. We’re not just students; we’re the ones who collect protection money...”

The big-bearded man pointed at the number plate on the door. ”Boss, this isn’t dorm 504. This is 604.”

When Zhao Rong realized his Instant Teleportation had landed him in the wrong dormitory, a cold sweat dripped from his forehead.

Damn it, why did it have to fail at such a critical moment? When I teleported just now, I was sure I was thinking of dorm 504. So how did I end up in 604?

And so, Zhao Rong gave the four tattooed men in dorm 604 a harsh beating. Afterward, he ordered them to return all the protection money they had extorted.

”You four wannabe tough guys, I’m warning you,” he said. ”If you don’t get those tattoos removed and clean up your act, I’ll drop by your dorm every now and then—especially in the dead of night—to beat you until your skin splits.”

The four tattooed men, who had been beaten to the ground, scrambled to their knees and begged for mercy, nodding frantically. ”Boss, from now on, we won’t dare to extort anyone ever again. We’ll go to the hospital and get these tattoos removed, we promise...”

Zhao Rong stepped forward and kicked the men back to the ground. ”Alright, now get back in your beds and go to sleep. Pretend this never happened.”

With that, Zhao Rong used Instant Teleportation and vanished, reappearing in dormitory 504.

When the four tattooed men saw the sword-wielding man vanish without a trace, they were completely dumbfounded.

The bald man said in disbelief, ”Was that young man human or a god? How could he disappear just like that? It’s utterly beyond comprehension...”

The big-bearded man took out his phone and started searching online for superheroes. ”I don’t think that guy was an ordinary person. He had to be a superhero or an alien...”

The mustached man slapped his own face. ”Was that real? We weren’t dreaming, were we?”

The big-nosed man speculated, ”He must be invisible. How else could he just disappear like that?”

Finally, speaking in terrified tones, they concluded, ”It seems our days as the school bullies are over. We have to do what the boss said and go to the hospital to get these tattoos removed. Otherwise, he might come back every night to beat us up...” With that, the four resolved to mend their ways and get their tattoos removed.

When Zhao Rong accurately teleported into dormitory 504, he immediately scanned the room vigilantly. It was serene, filled with the scent of women’s perfume. After confirming the dormitory was secure, Zhao Rong put away his Longsword and slowly walked toward the balcony. Just a moment ago, from the opposite building, he had clearly seen a man on this very balcony wearing a raincoat, a mask, and holding a sickle.

However, when he reached the balcony, he found nothing but a few racks for drying clothes. As for the Rainy Night Killer he had seen, there wasn’t even a trace.

Zhao Rong shook his head and muttered to himself, ”It seems that Rainy Night Killer is really cunning. Catching him is going to take some serious effort...”

He was about to use Instant Teleportation to return to the dormitory he shared with his assistant downstairs when the sound of police sirens echoed across the campus. Standing on the balcony, Zhao Rong watched the approaching police cars. He knew they were here to arrest the criminal, Su Jintao. Sure enough, when the cars stopped, several SWAT officers rushed into the dormitory building. They dragged Su Jintao out of his room and shoved him into a police car.

As Zhao Rong watched the police cars leave, the sirens woke the three women in the dorm.

Lili was the first to wake up. She turned on the light and exclaimed in fear, ”Why are there police cars? Did a criminal get into the school?”

After Lili switched on the light, Yu Lan also woke up. Suddenly, she stared at the balcony and cried out in terror, ”Look! There’s someone on the balcony!”

Hearing Yu Lan’s scream, Xuelian was jolted from her sleep. When she saw the shadow on the balcony, she immediately grabbed a can of pepper spray from under her bed. ”Lili, Yu Lan, don’t be afraid! As long as I have this Divine Artifact, we don’t need to fear any man.” Clutching the pepper spray, Xuelian charged toward the balcony.

At that moment, Zhao Rong realized what was happening. He stood on the balcony, embarrassed beyond belief, as he watched the three awakened women. He scratched the back of his head, unsure whether to leave or speak to them.

If I leave now, it’ll definitely leave a psychological scar on them, making them think a burglar broke in. But if I walk in and talk to them, they’ll misunderstand for sure. They’ll wonder what a man is doing in their dorm in the middle of the night, lurking on the balcony…

Just as Zhao Rong was trying to decide, Xuelian charged onto the balcony. She was about to spray the man when she suddenly recognized him. ”Brother Zhao Rong? Is that you? How did you end up on our balcony?”

With that, Xuelian rushed into Zhao Rong’s arms. ”Brother Zhao, you won’t believe it,” she said happily. ”I was just dreaming about the two of us… I never imagined that when I woke up, I’d actually find you on the balcony!”

Inside the room, Lili and Yu Lan had seen Xuelian rush out, ready to spray the intruder. They were stunned when she not only refrained but embraced the man instead.

Lili looked at Yu Lan incredulously. ”Yu Lan, why did Xuelian run out there and start cuddling with the bad guy instead of spraying him?”

Yu Lan scratched the back of her head, completely baffled. ”Is the bad guy that handsome? Did she fall for him?”

Lili thought for a moment. ”I think the only man in the world who could capture Xuelian’s heart is Zhao Rong. Unless that intruder looks exactly like him...” Saying this, Lili climbed out of bed, grabbed a wooden stick from underneath it, and tiptoed toward the balcony. When she got a clear look at the man, she said to Yu Lan, dumbfounded, ”Oh my goodness! In all my years, I’ve never seen a man who looks so much like Brother Zhao Rong.”

Just then, Yu Lan grabbed a pair of scissors from under her pillow and rushed over. When she saw the man on the balcony, she too was completely flabbergasted.

”This rascal might be a bad guy,” she said in disbelief, ”but why does he look so much like Brother Zhao Rong?”

While Lili and Yu Lan were still astonished, Xuelian walked back into the room, holding Zhao Rong’s hand.

Lili immediately looked at them and asked Xuelian, ”Xuelian, why does this bad guy look so much like Brother Zhao Rong?”

Yu Lan charged at Zhao Rong with the scissors. ”You might look a lot like Brother Zhao Rong, and you might have fooled Xuelian and Lili, but you can’t fool me! You’re an intruder, and I have to protect my sisters. I’m going to kill you!”

When Zhao Rong saw Yu Lan coming at him, he swiftly dodged and snatched the scissors from her hand. He awkwardly explained to the three women, ”Please, don’t misunderstand. I really am your Brother Zhao Rong.”

When Lili and Yu Lan heard his voice, they immediately lowered the stick and scissors.

In perfect unison, the two women asked, ”Brother Zhao Rong, what are you doing in our dorm in the middle of the night, standing on our balcony?”
