Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

It took less than a minute for Meili to go from unconscious to awake. The assistant stood before her, a lecherous grin spreading across his face. As he grinned, he thought, Sorry, Meili, I have to use you for an experiment. I need to see if this Love-at-First-Sight Elixir I bought online is as magical and awesome as the description claims.

Before he could even finish his thought, Meili came to. She opened her eyes, and the first thing she saw was the assistant standing opposite her. An instantaneous shiver ran through her body. Looking at the assistant, she exclaimed with excitement, ”Oppa! My dream guy, my dear boyfriend! When did you get here?”

When the girls standing by the nearby stall heard Meili cry out ”boyfriend,” they exchanged excited glances. Wang Jie said her boyfriend was so amazing words can’t describe him. We can finally see just how handsome, tall, rich, generous, domineering, manly, and supportive he is!

The girls immediately looked at Meili and asked, ”Wang Jie, you said your boyfriend is here. Where is he?”

Meili gazed at the assistant before her, her eyes filled with deep affection as she said, ”Are you girls blind? Can’t you see my boyfriend is standing right in front of me?”

When her friends heard that Meili’s boyfriend was standing opposite them, they turned their gazes to the assistant. However, after looking him up and down, they all thought the same thing. This man is short, ugly, and fat, and his clothes are practically rags. Is he really Wang Jie’s boyfriend?

Uncertain, the women looked back at Meili. ”Wang Jie, is this man… really your boyfriend?”

Before they could even finish speaking, Meili performed a perfect kip-up, leaping into the assistant’s arms. She wrapped her arms around his neck, showering him with kisses and affection. ”Hubby, I love you so much! I’ve missed you! I just want to sleep with you, right here and now…”

When the girls realized that this short, ugly, poor, and shabby man truly was Meili’s boyfriend, they collapsed to the ground in shock. They couldn’t believe their eyes, whispering amongst themselves.

”No way. Wang Jie’s standards have always been so high. She never gives ordinary guys a second look…”

”Yeah, her criteria usually require a guy to be over 1.85 meters tall, but this guy looks like he’s under 1.65 meters…”

”Didn’t Wang Jie just say her boyfriend was more handsome than Takeshi Kaneshiro? How is this guy less handsome than Guo Da?”

”Exactly! And didn’t she say her boyfriend was a second-generation heir to a massive fortune? Why is this guy dressed in rags, with poverty written all over his face? Forget a massive fortune, he looks like he just escaped poverty…”

While the girls were still reeling from the shock of Meili’s taste in men, the assistant and Meili were already wrapped in an embrace, whispering sweet nothings. Having taken the Love-at-First-Sight Elixir, Meili was completely lost in her infatuation. She quickly got into the mood and began taking off her clothes.

”Oppa, what position do you want to try? How many times do you want to do it?” she asked.

When the assistant heard how forward and loving Meili was being, he was delighted. Looks like that Love-at-First-Sight Elixir I got from the Paradise Shopping Cart really works! It’s exactly as the manual described…

Just as he was smiling to himself, Meili suddenly lay down on the ground, looking up at him provocatively. ”Oppa, what are you waiting for? Every moment of a night like this is precious…”

The assistant was terrified when he saw Meili lying on the ground, ready to do it with him out of sheer love. ”Beauty, we’re complete strangers who’ve only just met. A hug is enough. As for… that… I think we should skip it. There are too many people here…”

With that, he tried to run away. Meili’s aggressive passion was putting him under immense pressure. But as he turned to flee, she performed another kip-up, followed by a front somersault, and grabbed his leg.

”Oppa, where are you going?” she cried. ”Don’t you love me anymore?”

Seeing that she had him trapped, the assistant tried to push her away. ”I’m sorry, Beauty, but I don’t feel anything for you…”

When the girls standing nearby heard this ugly, poor, sleazy-looking man dare to reject Meili, they were so astonished they fell to the ground again. They began whispering once more.

”You’ve got to be kidding me. Have our Wang Jie’s standards really dropped this low?”

”I know, right? I wouldn’t even look at a man that ugly and poor. I really can’t understand how Wang Jie could fall for him.”

”What I can’t understand is how an ugly man like him has the nerve to reject Wang Jie. It’s just unbelievable…”

Trapped by Meili and unable to escape, the assistant wiped the sweat from his brow. Using all his strength, he shoved her to the ground. ”Beauty, I don’t know you! Please have some self-respect!”

When Meili saw that her man was not only rejecting her but was now using force, she grabbed a fruit knife from a nearby stall, held it to her own throat, and declared, ”My hero! In life, I am your woman, and in death, I will be your ghost! I’ve chosen you for this lifetime. If you walk away now, I’ll die right here in front of you!”

Seeing her threaten suicide to keep him there, the assistant was so frightened that he fell to his knees and begged for mercy. ”Big Sister, Granny, I was wrong! I’m so sorry! I never should have used that Love-at-First-Sight Elixir on you! I thought the Elixir would be awesome, but I never imagined it would be *this* awesome! I used to see comments online from guys who finally got their dream girl, only to break up with them and run away because they couldn’t stand the constant clinging and pressure… I didn’t believe it at first. I thought if an ugly guy like me got a goddess, he should cherish her and stick to her like glue, day and night… But now that I’ve experienced it myself, I finally understand what those guys were talking about! Please, Ma’am, Auntie, Grandma, I’m begging you, just let me go!”

With that, he knocked himself out with a punch and collapsed to the ground to play dead.

When Meili saw the assistant harm himself, she rushed to his side and cradled him, sobbing, ”Hubby, why would you hurt yourself? Am I not pretty enough? Not sexy enough? Not beautiful enough for you?”

The assistant might have been lacking in other skills, but his ability to play dead was second to none. Not only did his breathing stop, but his heart also ceased to beat. Even his body temperature began to drop. When Meili felt that he had no breath and no heartbeat, she was so scared she let go of him.

She turned to her friends. ”No… my dream guy… he actually killed himself?”

Hearing this, the other girls came over to check his pulse and breathing. When they confirmed he had neither, and that his body temperature had dropped to an icy cold, they stopped in their tracks, took off their hats, and sighed, ”Such an ugly man chose to commit suicide just to escape a beautiful woman’s advances… The world truly is full of strange things.”

Seeing that her dream guy had killed himself, Meili gave up. She took out her phone and called the crematorium. ”Hello, is this the crematorium?”

”Yes, it is,” a man’s voice answered. ”Do you need someone cremated?”

Meili nodded sadly. ”My boyfriend died. I want him cremated, and then I’ll scatter his ashes into the sea…”

In response, the crematorium sent a hearse. The attendants placed the assistant’s body into a coffin and loaded it into the vehicle. As soon as the assistant heard the doors shut and the hearse drive away from the school, he sighed in his heart.

My god, this Love-at-First-Sight Elixir is way too powerful… If a woman falls for you because of it, the only way to escape is to play dead. Otherwise, you’ll never get away…

The assistant felt exhausted. He decided to just lie in the coffin and rest for a while. It was a long way to the crematorium, at least an hour’s drive.

Alright, I’ll just close my eyes and take a nap, he told himself. But only for ten minutes, remember…

With that thought, he fell asleep. He had no idea how long he slept until he was startled awake by voices right next to his ear.

”We’ve cremated a few people today, brother, but they were all old folks. Strange to suddenly get a young man…”

”Poor kid. So young, and his life is already over. About to be turned to ash…”

”Life is so unpredictable.”

”Well, no point dwelling on it. Let’s get him into the furnace.”

With that, the two crematorium workers began to push the assistant into the incinerator. He suddenly felt an intense heat. When he finally realized what was happening, he was mere fractions of a second from being engulfed in flames.

Quick as a flash, he performed a powerful kip-up, leaping out of the furnace just in time.

When the two workers saw a corpse not only reanimate but also perform a flawless kip-up and jump out of the incinerator, they were petrified. They turned and ran, screaming at the top of their lungs, ”Help! There’s a zombie! And it’s a really powerful one!”
