Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

As the two wingsuit flyers soared into a mountain range of cloud-piercing stone spires, they began to chat confidently. The flyer in the black suit looked at his partner in blue and said, ”With our skills, shaking off that guy with the propeller hat will be a piece of cake.”

The flyer in blue scoffed disdainfully. ”Forget catching up to us. He’ll be lucky if he can just fly through these mountains without getting smashed to bits by the rocks.”

The flyer in the black suit laughed heartily. ”I bet you’re right. That guy with the propeller hat is one hundred percent going to get himself killed on these rocks.” But before he could finish his sentence, he suddenly felt a hand grab his heel from behind.

The flyer in the black suit struggled for a moment, then looked at his partner. ”Damn it, who grabbed my heel?”

The blue-suited flyer teased him, ”At this altitude, at our speed, and through terrain this difficult? Unless it’s a ghost, nobody could have grabbed your heel.”

Hearing this, the flyer in black chuckled and turned his head to look. However, when he saw the person grabbing his heel wasn’t a ghost but Zhao Rong, he gasped in shock. ”Bro, this is bad!” he yelled to the blue flyer. ”The guy with the propeller on his head not only caught up, but he’s got my heel!”

The flyer in blue didn’t believe him. ”Are you kidding me, bro? We’re the best wingsuit pilots in the world! Most people can’t even keep us in their sights, let alone catch up.” However, before the blue flyer could finish speaking, his partner suddenly screamed in agony. ”Bro, help! Someone cut my Achilles tendon!”

With that, the flyer in the black suit clutched his heel and began to plummet, crying out, ”My leg... I can’t put any pressure on it! I can’t keep my balance! Help, I’m going to fall to my death!”

Zhao Rong watched the man freefall, smirking inwardly. This guy’s body is so fragile. I barely squeezed his heel and accidentally snapped his Achilles tendon.

When the flyer in blue saw his partner was truly falling, he quickly adjusted his posture and stared back at Zhao Rong in astonishment. ”Sir, are you human or a ghost? How can you fly so fast?”

Zhao Rong deliberately slowed down and said to the blue flyer, ”Who says I’m flying fast? I’m actually flying quite slow, aren’t I?”

Staring at Zhao Rong in terror, the blue flyer stammered, ”But, sir, you’re flying incredibly fast! Faster than I could have ever imagined!”

Zhao Rong chuckled. ”You’re being far too modest. I think your flying skills are the ones that are truly superior.”

Seeing how friendly Zhao Rong seemed, the blue flyer let his guard down. ”Sir, let’s be friends! After all, we both love to fly. Maybe we can find some common ground and become good buddies.”

Zhao Rong smirked. ”I’m afraid we won’t get the chance to become buddies before you get smashed against a rock.”

The blue flyer laughed dismissively. ”Sir, you underestimate me. I’m a world champion wingsuit pilot. With my skills, I couldn’t hit a rock even if it moved.”

But before he could finish his boast, he slammed directly into a massive boulder. His head was bloodied from the impact, and he began to freefall toward the ground.

Watching him fall, Zhao Rong called out teasingly, ”Your skills might be great, but you were flying backward. As long as you don’t have eyes in the back of your head, you can still get yourself killed.”

As the blue flyer fell, he looked up at Zhao Rong and said, ”Sir, you truly are a master. You were being so friendly just to trick me, to make me lower my guard so I’d get hit by a rock from behind.”

Zhao Rong hastily shirked responsibility. ”Hey, don’t you dare blame me. You crashed all on your own. It has absolutely nothing to do with me.”

Hearing this, the blue flyer ground his teeth. ”I’ve been flying for years and I’ve met a lot of show-offs, but I’ve never met anyone who can act like you!”

With those final words, the blue flyer hit the ground and died.

After dealing with the three wingsuit flyers, Zhao Rong hurried back to his team.

Meanwhile, Lili, Yu Lan, Xuelian, Wang Guihua, and the Assistant were suspended in mid-air, growing anxious as they waited.

Lili said worriedly, ”This is only Zhao Rong’s second time flying. His skills are still unpolished. I’m so scared something might have happened while he was chasing those flyers.”

Xuelian checked her watch with a concerned look. ”It’s been over half an hour. Why isn’t he back yet?” She craned her neck, peering into the distance. ”Those wingsuit flyers are experts. I’m afraid the three of them might have led him into a mountain canyon and used some dirty trick to make him crash.”

Now Wang Guihua was anxious too. ”If I’d known you could all fly, I would’ve worn jeans,” she said, full of regret. ”Then those three wouldn’t have been able to take pictures of me from below. If they hadn’t been taking pictures, Zhao Rong wouldn’t have had to step in to protect me, and there wouldn’t have been a conflict. If there was no conflict, he wouldn’t have chased after them to fight!”

Just as the three women were sighing, pessimistic about Zhao Rong’s chances, a figure suddenly appeared on the horizon. A man with a propeller on his head, silhouetted against the evening glow, was flying toward them. When they realized the approaching man was Zhao Rong, they burst into cheers, hugging and high-fiving in surprise.

Tears of joy streamed down Lili’s face. ”I knew it! I knew Zhao Rong was the most incredible man in the world! There’s no enemy he can’t defeat!”

Yu Lan said through her own tears, ”Zhao Rong, you’re finally back! I was so worried you’d been defeated by those flyers and had fallen to your death!”

Xuelian pulled out her phone and started recording a video. ”Zhao Rong, I’m going to start taking videos and photos of you right now! I’ll post them all over social media and make you an internet sensation!”

The Assistant sucked in a sharp breath as he watched Zhao Rong’s return. ”Holy crap, Zhao Rong, you’re unbelievable! How can I even describe you? You’re more amazing than Superman, Batman, the Green Hornet, Iron Man, and Spider-Man all put together!”

Overcome with excitement, Wang Guihua finally let go of the skirt she had been holding down. She waved to the approaching Zhao Rong and shouted, ”Zhao Rong, welcome back! The return of the king!”

The moment she waved, a gust of wind blew her short skirt up again.

As Zhao Rong flew into the group, he smiled and recounted what had happened. ”Those three wingsuit flyers thought they were so tough, but in the end, they all took a nosedive.”

When the women heard that Zhao Rong had defeated three experts in a field completely new to him, they gave him a collective thumbs-up and began to chant, ”Zhao Rong, Zhao Rong, always victorious, forever strong! Our hero, our hero, we love you!”

Amid the praise, Zhao Rong happened to notice that the wind had lifted Wang Guihua’s skirt again. Behind her, the Assistant was staring intently. What’s more, the shameless guy had even deliberately lowered his altitude to get a better, more inappropriate view.

Just then, Zhao Rong quietly slipped his phone out of his pocket and recorded the Assistant’s disgraceful behavior. Then, he quickly flew forward, pressed Wang Guihua’s skirt down, and pointed an accusing finger at the Assistant. ”You pervert! What were you just looking at?”

Realizing he’d been caught, the Assistant quickly invented an excuse. ”Zhao Rong, you’re mistaken! I wasn’t staring at Wang Guihua’s skirt at all. I was just watching that Boeing 737 over there.” With that, he pointed to a plane in the distant sky, trying to divert everyone’s attention.

Just as the three women started to believe that the Assistant had really been looking at the plane, Zhao Rong took out his phone, ready to present the evidence.

But the Assistant suddenly went on the offensive. ”Ladies, you have to stand up for me! I wasn’t looking at Wang Guihua at all, but Zhao Rong is framing me! It’s so unfair! It’s an outrage!”

The three women fell for it and came to the Assistant’s defense. ”Zhao Rong, you must have misunderstood him. The Assistant would never be that creepy.”

Zhao Rong looked at the naive women, then held up his phone. ”Take a look at this video. Let’s see whether the Assistant was looking at Wang Guihua’s skirt or not.”

When the three saw the undeniable proof of the Assistant’s lecherous audacity, they immediately swarmed him, giving him a thorough beating right there in mid-air.

Zhao Rong watched the Assistant’s pathetic predicament and chuckled to himself. This Assistant is such a perv. He won’t even leave Wang Guihua alone, and she just joined the team. He really deserved to be taught a lesson.

With that, Zhao Rong led Lili, Yu Lan, Xuelian, the chastised Assistant, and Wang Guihua toward the Women’s University.
