Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

When Zhao Rong heard a woman’s scream coming from Su Jintao’s dormitory, he kicked the door open and rushed inside. Principal Wang Guihua didn’t hesitate, immediately following Zhao Rong into the dorm. Inside, the room was pitch-black, so dark you couldn’t see your hand in front of your face. Zhao Rong instinctively grabbed someone on the bed, yanked them to the floor, and began beating them viciously. Meanwhile, Principal Wang Guihua quickly flipped on the lights to assess the situation.

By the time Zhao Rong had finished his assault, Wang Guihua had the lights on. On the ground lay a man, stripped to his underwear, his face covered in blood. He looked at Zhao Rong in shock and said, ”Sir, we have no grudges against each other. Why would you barge into my room in the middle of the night and beat me like this?”

Zhao Rong looked down at Su Jintao, noting his 1.75-meter height, dark skin, large eyes, and sleazy appearance. Glaring at him, Zhao Rong demanded, ”Spill it. What kind of illicit activities have you been up to in here? Why did we suddenly hear a woman scream?”

Principal Wang Guihua also began searching, looking under the bed and inside the closet. ”Speak up,” she said. ”Why would a woman’s voice be coming from a man’s dorm room...”

Su Jintao helplessly held up his smartphone for them to see and said, ”Sir, and Principal, you must have made a mistake. I have this bad habit of burrowing under my covers in the dead of night to watch horror movies on my phone. The woman’s scream you just heard… it was from the horror movie on my phone…”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong froze. He immediately looked at the phone in Su Jintao’s hand and saw that it was, indeed, playing the horror film *The Ring*. Meanwhile, Principal Wang Guihua’s search turned up no trace of a woman in the dorm.

Realizing the situation, Zhao Rong was mortified. He knew he had wronged Su Jintao, so he quickly apologized. ”I’m sorry, classmate. I thought you were in here… brutally murdering someone. That’s why I kicked the door in. I never imagined you were just watching a horror movie on your phone. This is… well, it’s completely beyond anything we expected.”

Su Jintao struggled to his feet, cursing angrily, ”What a pair of weirdos! A man and a woman barging into my room in the middle of the night and beating me up? What kind of behavior is this? It’s illegal, that’s what! Forget everything else, just look at what you did to me. My face is swollen like a pig’s head! You have to compensate me for medical expenses and for emotional distress.”

Ready to accept the consequences, Zhao Rong agreed. ”Since I was wrong to hit you, I’m willing to pay for your medical expenses and emotional distress…”

With that, Zhao Rong prepared to take out tens of thousands of yuan from his Magic Ring to give to Su Jintao. However, just as he was about to hand over the money, Principal Wang Guihua spotted something on the floor: a single, very long strand of hair. She swiftly picked it up and held it out to Su Jintao. ”Classmate, didn’t you say there were no women in your dorm and that you haven’t had a girlfriend in your three years of university? Then explain this. This hair on your floor is obviously not yours…”

Zhao Rong took the long hair from Wang Guihua’s hand. He glanced at the hair, then at Su Jintao’s short buzz cut, and asked suspiciously, ”Su Jintao, first, explain where this long hair came from. Then, I’ll pay your medical and emotional distress fees…”

The moment Su Jintao saw the long hair, he became visibly nervous. Seeing his reaction, Zhao Rong pressed him further. ”Come clean. There’s a woman in here, isn’t there? And that scream didn’t come from your phone, did it?”

Just then, Wang Guihua noticed a Bluetooth earpiece lying on Su Jintao’s bed. In a flash, she snatched it up and placed it in her ear. To her surprise, she discovered that while Su Jintao had been watching a horror movie, he was listening to the audio through the earpiece, not the phone’s speaker. Clearly, the scream that had echoed from the dorm earlier wasn’t from a movie. It was a real woman. When Zhao Rong saw the Bluetooth earpiece in Wang Guihua’s hand, he understood everything. He questioned Su Jintao sternly, ”I’m warning you, Su Jintao, you’d better confess now. If we find out the truth ourselves, you’ll have more trouble than you can handle.”

Even with the earpiece exposed, Su Jintao stubbornly denied everything. ”I don’t know whose that is. My phone wasn’t connected to any Bluetooth earpiece, and that scream you heard was absolutely from my movie!”

Unconvinced, Principal Wang Guihua resumed her search. Yet, even after checking every conceivable hiding spot in the dormitory, she still found no sign of a woman. When Su Jintao saw that Wang Guihua’s search had yielded nothing, a cunning, sly look appeared on his face. ”I told you before, the scream came from my phone, but you didn’t believe me. Now you have no evidence. Just you wait. Tomorrow, I’m going to the police station to report you for breaking and entering. I’ll have both of you arrested, thrown in prison, and sentenced to two or three years!”

Before Su Jintao could finish his threat, Zhao Rong took out his phone and opened a shopping website exclusive to the gods: the Paradise Shopping Cart app. He tapped the search bar and typed in ”Woman Finder.” Instantly, an item that looked like a router appeared on the screen.

At this moment, Wang Guihua walked over. Looking at the router on Zhao Rong’s phone, she said in surprise, ”Zhao Rong, we came here to persuade him to accept dressing as a woman. Not only are you not persuading him, but you’re buying a router? Can’t you get your priorities straight? Figure out what needs to be done first!”

Hearing Principal Wang Guihua’s misunderstanding, Zhao Rong quickly explained, ”Principal, you’ve got it wrong. I’m not buying a router. This is a piece of black technology called a ’Woman Finder.’ With this gadget, we’ll find the woman in this dorm immediately.”

Listening to Zhao Rong, Wang Guihua was incredulous. ”Something that magical actually exists? Zhao Rong, you have to be joking…”

When Su Jintao heard that Zhao Rong intended to buy a ”Woman Finder” online to search his dorm, he burst out laughing. ”Brother, do you think you’re living in a sci-fi movie? Buying a ’Woman Finder’ online? You might as well just buy a pack of sanitary pads!”

Before Su Jintao could finish, Zhao Rong landed a punch on his nose, causing it to bleed freely. ”Kid, the world is full of wonders you can’t even imagine. There’s nothing you can think of that I can’t buy. So, while I’m purchasing this Woman Finder, I suggest you keep your mouth shut, so you don’t end up eating your own words.”

Clutching his bleeding nose, Su Jintao said painfully, ”Fine! If you can really buy some bullshit ’Woman Finder’ online and use it to find a woman in my dorm, then I, Su Jintao, will not only waive the compensation for medical fees and emotional distress, but I’ll also drink all the water from the toilet!”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong gave a cold smirk. He tapped the ”Purchase” button on the Paradise Shopping Cart app. ”Deal. I’m buying this piece of black technology right now, and then I’m going to watch you drink dirty toilet water.”

As Zhao Rong clicked the button, Su Jintao watched with a sneer. Even if you buy some so-called ’Woman Finder,’ he thought, how could a delivery person possibly bring it to you in the dead of night?

Wang Guihua also looked at Zhao Rong with concern. ”Zhao Rong, if you buy it now, the delivery won’t arrive until tomorrow or the day after, I’m afraid. By then, even if there was a woman hidden in here, he would have moved her long ago.”

Ignoring Su Jintao’s mockery and Wang Guihua’s worry, Zhao Rong patted his chest with confidence. ”You’re overthinking it. When I bought this, I selected the Bat Transport Team for delivery. As long as there are bats nearby, I’ll receive my package within three minutes.”

When Su Jintao heard Zhao Rong claim that bats would deliver his package, he doubled over with laughter. ”My friend, you’ve definitely watched too many sci-fi movies. You’re living in your own fantasy world. In this world, deliveries are made by human couriers. Bats delivering packages? You must be dreaming.”

Wang Guihua even stepped forward and touched Zhao Rong’s forehead, then her own, frowning. ”Zhao Rong, you don’t have a fever. So why are you saying such unrealistic, illogical, and unscientific things…?”

But before Su Jintao’s laughter died down, and before Wang Guihua could finish her sentence, a bat flew into the dormitory through the open window.

Zhao Rong looked at the bat and waved. ”Hey, bat courier, your delivery speed is pretty fast.”

The bat flew in, dropped a package on the floor, and said to Zhao Rong, ”Sir, here is the Woman Finder you purchased from the Paradise Shopping Cart. Please inspect it. If there is no damage and it functions correctly, please sign for the delivery and make the payment.”

After checking the item’s appearance and function and finding it in perfect condition, Zhao Rong signed and paid the bat in cash.

Standing beside him, Su Jintao and Wang Guihua stared as the bat not only spoke but also made a delivery. The two of them were so shocked that they collapsed to the floor.
