Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 1682: Chapter 1676: Bridesmaid Tuan

”Ningning, what’s up?”

Seeing Huo Sining standing there stupidly staring at the open window in a daze, Huang Hanyun and Su Qingqing exchanged glances, not knowing what was up with Huo Sining.

Huo Sining didn’t explain, she just shook her head and said, ”Nothing, why are you here so early?”

Huang Hanyun slapped her forehead and said, ”It’s not early, it’s almost five o’clock! The makeup artists are already outside eating breakfast. You should tidy up a bit, wash your face or do a facial mask or something, then put on your wedding dress. The makeup artist will be here to do your makeup soon.”

Huo Sining looked surprised, ”Makeup, this early? I was hoping to sleep a little longer.”

Huang Hanyun was both amused and exasperated, ”It’s not early, you’re the bride today, lots to do! If you delay any longer, the bridesmaids will be here.”

”Everyone’s here?” Huo Sining checked the time and couldn’t help but mumble, ”It seems like I’m the one getting married, why are they so eager?”

This time, the bridesmaids group was a large ensemble, including Huang Hanyun, Huang Ranping, Huang Yunmiao, Su Qingqing, Bai Yishan, Wu Ya, Zhong Xiaoyao, and Zhang Shuang. Even the Song Sisters came.

Since she was getting married from her family’s home, Huo Sining had moved back to the old house at night. The old house was all empty, so Huang Hanyun and Su Qingqing came along to keep her company, and so Huo Sining would be directly picked up by the groom from the old house.

However, hearing Huo Sining’s complaint, Su Qingqing felt a bit emotional: ”You say so, but among us, you’re the first to get married. That day when Gu Xu called and said you were getting married, it really shocked us, we almost thought you two were causing some drama!”

Recalling that day, Huo Sining couldn’t help but feel amused. If it wasn’t for Gu Xu tricking her, she wouldn’t have prepared to have the wedding this early.

”I think Brother Gu is quite good. Even though you’re the first among us sisters to get married, I think you’ll have the best marriage. We don’t have your kind of capability; we’ll just find a reliable man to live a stable life. But you’re different, we all think you’re destined to be dazzling, radiant, no matter if you’re married, at the Gu Family you’ll definitely keep moving forward!”

Huang Hanyun laughed, ”Moreover, I see Brother Gu adores you, his gaze is full of love for you. The Gu Family has simple familial relations, they will embrace all of you. I believe Ningning, you’ll certainly have a good life ahead!”

Listening to Huang Hanyun’s words, Huo Sining suddenly felt a pang in her heart, her eyes turned red instantly. She reached out to hug Su Qingqing and Huang Hanyun, saying gently:

”Whether married or not, we are good sisters. Don’t envy me, you’ll all soon find your own happiness!”

Su Qingqing was just looking melancholy, but hearing Huo Sining’s words, she immediately perked up, jokingly fierce and lively, showing her true nature:

”Exactly, we’ll all find our right person, no need to envy you. Woman, if you dare distance yourself from us after marrying, I won’t let you off!”

Huo Sining couldn’t help but shake her head in exasperation, ”You show your true colors after just a few words, this personality is really only bearable by Wu Jun. Fortunately, his elders aren’t around, otherwise, with this spoiled attitude you have, who could stand you at his house?”

Su Qingqing felt both embarrassed and awkward instantly: ”Hey hey hey, is this how you talk to your cousin? No respect at all! Hurry up and get ready or else I’ll let them all in in a moment, let them see what a disheveled bride looks like, let’s see if you dare meet people!”

With that banter, the sour and reluctant emotions in Huo Sining’s heart were instantly kicked to outer space, she laughed, ”The messy look of mine isn’t something they haven’t seen, so what if they see it, I’m getting married, not worried about not being wanted.”

Although she said so, she still went to the washroom and started freshening up unwillingly.

After Huo Sining had showered and done her mask, there were indeed noises outside; the bridesmaids and makeup team had arrived.

Huang Hanyun shouted out, ”The bride is up, you can all come in.”

Upon hearing this, the group of girls chirped and swarmed in. Responsible for Huo Sining’s makeup was Sister Hu, the makeup artist from the previous CCTV ”History of China”, who came in with a massive makeup case, let out a yelp seeing Huo Sining’s appearance:

”Miss Huo, why haven’t you changed yet? We better hurry. Reporter Huang, block the reporters and photographers outside, don’t let them in, or they’ll catch you like this!”

Speaking like this, Sister Hu couldn’t help but put her hands on her hips, looking helplessly at Huo Sining, starting to nag:

”Miss Huo, you are now a public figure, the ratings for ’History of China’ keep climbing, your fame is rising rapidly. On this big day, I don’t know how many reporters are waiting to capture your photo for headlines, you better be careful, don’t let them take unflattering photos of you, otherwise who knows what stories they’ll concoct!”

She started mimicking the tone of entertainment gossip news:

”On the famous host’s wedding day, disheveled and plain-faced, suspected to be shunned by husband’s family!”

”CCTV host’s bare face exposed, magic before-and-after transformation!”

”Miss Magic suspected of plastic surgery, plain dreadful photos shock passersby!”

Sister Hu’s quirky pitch and exaggerated expression as she read the news made everyone burst out laughing.

Huo Sining, with a toothbrush in her mouth, was amused by Sister Hu’s antics.

She wanted to say something, but mumbled a few words, her mouth full of foam, failing to speak clearly; all she could do was to look at Sister Hu with her innocent big eyes, pitifully. Sister Hu shrugged, shook her head helplessly, looking at Huo Sining with exasperation.

Once Huo Sining finished brushing her teeth, washing her face, and changing into her wedding dress, she sat down at the dressing table, then the photographers were let in.

Sister Hu’s hands worked quickly, soon applying base makeup for Huo Sining, then she began curling Huo Sining’s hair bit by bit.

The bridesmaids also cheerfully went to the inner room to change into bridesmaid dresses and do their makeup. As all of them were good friends with Huo Sining and being bridesmaids for the first time, each was as excited as if it was their own wedding.
