Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 1653: Chapter 1637: Naming Rights

While waiting for the master to serve the dish, Huo Sining and Han Wen returned to the private room where Chen Yu was.

After sipping some tea, Han Wen finally got to the main topic.

”CCTV’s program?”

Huo Sining frowned, ”Why would they think of inviting me? I’m not a host by profession and don’t know how to make a show. You’re asking me to lead; perhaps you’ve found the wrong person?”

Han Wen laughed, ”Let me show you their program proposal, and you’ll understand.”

Saying this, Han Wen pulled out the program plan left by the producer from her bag.

Huo Sining picked up the proposal and glanced at it, immediately understanding the intention behind the show:

”Using antiques as the main subject, explaining Huaxia’s culture through the analysis of the craftsmanship, words, and paintings on antiques? This is a pretty good idea, a science education type of program that can satisfy the curiosity of many viewers who aren’t familiar with antiques. As for the ratings, that’s definitely not a concern. However, at this moment, creating this show, I think CCTV has more than just ratings in mind, right?”

Han Wen nodded, ”You’re right, the producers want to use this program to spread Huaxia culture. With the Olympics as a springboard, it’s a great opportunity to bring Huaxia civilization to the international stage. Not only the tenth channel but other TV stations and even some local satellite channels are considering these factors.”

Chen Yu couldn’t help but interject, ”It’s not just TV stations; our publicity department is also paying great attention to the Olympics and considering selecting Olympic promotion ambassadors. I think if you truly take this program, perhaps I can help nominate you; might even land the title of Olympic promotion ambassador.”

Huo Sining isn’t concerned about any Olympic ambassador title but promoting Huaxia culture is undoubtedly beneficial for her.

She holds thousands of Huaxia antiques in her hands now, and if Huaxia’s status improves internationally, the market price of Huaxia antiques would soar, which certainly benefits her.

Thinking this way, Huo Sining felt that taking this show isn’t a bad thing.

”I can take it, but I have one condition.”

Huo Sining isn’t exactly philanthropic; the TV station needs her, so she wouldn’t take it without putting forth any demands. She wouldn’t hesitate to claim some benefits.

Han Wen naturally knew Huo Sining wouldn’t agree so readily and asked, ”What condition? Tell me, and I’ll negotiate with the producer team.”

Huo Sining laughed, ”Since this program is for promotion, I’d like to catch this opportunity. I want the naming rights for this program; I can use it to advertise Jade Beauty and enhance its international impact.”

Han Wen was taken aback, quickly showing a bitter smile, ”They say businessmen are cunning, and it’s true; you’re certainly not losing out.”

Huo Sining chuckled and shrugged, ”I don’t think this is an excessive request, right? I won’t interfere with other brand advertisement slots, but the naming rights must be reserved for me. I’ll pay whatever price is necessary; I won’t shortchange the program team even a penny.”

Han Wen was a bit helpless because she knew naming rights aren’t a trivial matter. It’s very possible it already sold out when the program first started, so she didn’t dare to promise. After all, she wasn’t in charge of the program; she was merely bridging connections for the tenth channel.

”Alright, I’ll ask them, and if they agree, I’ll contact you again.”

Huo Sining nodded nonchalantly; she’d stated her condition. Whether they can negotiate is up to the TV station, she doesn’t intervene. If negotiations work out, she’ll take it; if not, she won’t. It’s not a big deal for her anyway.

At this moment, the kitchen had served the first dish. Liu Qingdong personally carried a steaming hot basin of Steamed Grouper to the private room, setting it down with a cheerful smile, ”Have a taste; it’s made by the high-paid top chef I hired. Absolutely top-notch skills.”

The three were indeed hungry after waiting so long, each picking up their chopsticks to scoop a piece of fish into their mouths.

As soon as they tasted it, their eyes lit up instantly, ignoring formalities, each chopstick darting into the dish, grabbing plates and bowls, starting to gorge insatiably.

Liu Qingdong watched the scene with a smile, took up the chopsticks and tried a few pieces himself as the second and third dishes hit the table consecutively.

Garlic Butter Lobster, Baked Shrimp, Ginger Scallion Stir-fried Lobster, Lobster Soup, Braised Golden Spearfish, Pan-fried Cod, Fried Cod Fillet...

A true seafood feast, all fresh Atlantic Ocean produce, each bite incredibly tender. Han Wen and Chen Yu initially minded their table manners, but seeing so many delectable dishes, they couldn’t resist anymore. Even Liu Qingdong loosened up, the foursome reaching for the plates all at once.

The meal left all four thoroughly satisfied. Chen Yu had been dieting for weight loss recently but half a month of dieting was undone with this one meal.

With her belly stuffed, Chen Yu looked at Huo Sining complaining, ”Ningning, I was dieting, and now you bring such delicious seafood over, you’re deliberately preventing my weight loss!”

”Why lose weight? Your figure is just right.” Huo Sining laughed, glancing at Chen Yu, ”Besides, without a full stomach, where’s the energy for weight loss?”

Chen Yu’s facade crumbled instantly at these words, recalling Huo Sining’s Qigong Massage Technique, her eyes twinkled with a sudden idea:

”Don’t shirk the responsibility; though Han Wen invited us, the seafood indeed came from you. I don’t care, you need to think of a way to help trim down this belly fat; look how much fat there is, practically a swimming ring. Does your Qigong Massage Technique work? Can you try it on me?”

Huo Sining had a pretty good impression of Chen Yu, the sister-in-law, and it was rare that she would make a request. It’s nothing outrageous, just consumes some Spiritual Energy, which regenerates afterward. Huo Sining didn’t refuse, smiling:

”Alright, then we’ll find a room later, and I’ll give you a massage. Han Wen, do you want to try as well?”

Han Wen immediately felt tempted hearing it could trim belly fat, ”Does it... work?”

Huo Sining laughed, ”I don’t know if it works, but it definitely doesn’t harm the body. I’m just helping you open up meridians, boosting your metabolism, and promoting some fat burning.”

Upon hearing this, Han Wen had no more hesitations, nodding repeatedly, ”Alright, alright, I want to try too!”
