Upon hearing Chen Wuye’s words, Li Qianqiu responded without hesitation, ”When helping a friend, is there a need to consider whether it’s worth it or not?”

”But the key problem is, is this person your friend?” Chen Wuye said, ”You’ve done a lot for him, but what has he done for you? Qianqiu, you’ve only met Ye Qing once, and before that, there was no interaction at all. You don’t even know what kind of person he is, yet you regard him as a friend?”

”For some friends, meeting once is enough. Many people you see every day are destined never to become friends!” Li Qianqiu paused and said, ”I don’t care what a friend does for me, nor how many times we’ve met. As long as I feel that person is trustworthy, that’s enough!”

”Alas, you’re still too young and reckless in what you do!” Chen Wuye sighed and said, ”Qianqiu, to tell you the truth, your master intentionally doesn’t want to get involved this time. You know, the great war between us and the Twelve Green Halls is imminent. The strength of our Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance is far from what it once was, and it’s not wise to make more enemies. The Purple Robe Lama is one of the Five Unmatches of the World, and Brahmanism is a major force in Tianzhu, very powerful. If we become their enemy now, it’s unwise.”

”Just because of this, can we just ignore Ye Qing’s affairs like this?” Li Qianqiu said, ”Don’t forget, the relationship between Ye Qing and Huangfu Ziyu is extraordinary. If we stand by this time, how will we explain to Huangfu Ziyu in the future?”

”What you should be considering now is not about explaining to anyone, but the imminent great war,” Chen Wuye said. ”According to intelligence, the Twelve Green Halls have already made moves, and the Heaven Earth Man Tri-Map is expected to show some movement soon. So what we need to focus on now is how to deal with the upcoming attack by the Twelve Green Halls, not on whom to explain things to.”

Li Qianqiu furrowed his brows slightly and said, ”Just because of the Twelve Green Halls’ issue, can we disregard Ye Qing’s matters? If that’s the case, even if we defeat the Twelve Green Halls, the rumor about us won’t be flattering.”

”Qianqiu, remember, there’s a saying: ’The victor is king, the loser is a villain.’ If you win, everything you say and do is right. If you lose, no matter what you say or do, it’s wrong.” Chen Wuye said, ”So, don’t care about others’ thoughts or words. The most important thing is to win. Remember, the war against the Twelve Green Halls is not just your business, but the entire Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance’s matter. Your mistake could lead to the complete defeat of the entire Seven Steering Committees, making many sacrifices in vain. So, keep in mind to do your best not to make mistakes. Do all you can; even if you fail, you won’t regret it. But if you knowingly make a mistake, regret won’t help after failure in the future!”

Li Qianqiu was silent for a while and said, ”Chen Wuye, I understand what you mean. However, regarding tonight’s matter, if I don’t help Ye Qing, I won’t forgive myself in the future!”

After speaking, Li Qianqiu hung up the phone directly, not waiting for Chen Wuye to speak again. Standing silently by the door for a while, he sighed deeply, then turned and drove directly away from the manor.

Inside the manor, Chen Wuye held the phone with an expression of helplessness and turned to look at Helian Tiehua sitting on the sofa, saying, ”Great General, as you expected, Qianqiu is determined to help that Ye Qing.”

Helian Tiehua nodded calmly without saying anything. Seeing Helian Tiehua’s demeanor, Chen Wuye was silent for a while and lowly said, ”Great General, what do we do now?”

”What do you mean, what do we do?” Helian Tiehua replied.

”About Qianqiu,” Chen Wuye said. ”He’s definitely going to help Ye Qing. Tomorrow night, Ye Qing will meet the Purple Robe Lama. According to the intel I received, the enmity between Ye Qing and Brahmanism is quite deep; it seems Ye Qing killed a Brahmin Elder. The Purple Robe Lama is here for revenge. If Qianqiu goes, he might clash with the Brahmanism people. What should we do then? Our situation is already difficult; involving Brahmanism would complicate it further.”

Helian Tiehua said nothing, as if he hadn’t heard Chen Wuye’s concerns, or perhaps he simply didn’t care about them.

Seeing Helian Tiehua’s expression, Chen Wuye became anxious and couldn’t help but say, ”Great General, I think we should stop Qianqiu as soon as possible from getting involved in this. Otherwise, it’s all harm and no benefit to us!”

Helian Tiehua finally shook his head and said, ”No need.”

”No need?” Chen Wuye was surprised and said, ”If we don’t stop Qianqiu, he’s bound to clash with the Brahmanism people, isn’t that problematic? Also, given the skills of the Purple Robe Lama, if Qianqiu really helps Ye Qing, I’m afraid he won’t come back alive tomorrow night.”

”Oh,” Helian Tiehua replied with a single syllable, not saying anything more.

Chen Wuye became more anxious and straightforwardly said, ”Great General, Qianqiu is particularly stubborn. Besides you, nobody on our side can persuade him. Why don’t you try to convince him not to get involved in this affair?”

Helian Tiehua was silent for a moment, slowly shook his head, and said, ”I can’t persuade him.”

”Even if you can’t persuade him, he’s your disciple; he’d listen to you.” Chen Wuye said.

”You mean I should order him in my capacity as his master?” Helian Tiehua frowned slightly and said, ”Doing so, wouldn’t it be unreasonable for me as a master?”

”Reasonable? If we talk about reasoning, we have to watch him make trouble. Is it the time to make trouble now?” Chen Wuye said anxiously.

Helian Tiehua glanced at Chen Wuye, smiled gently, stood up, and walked towards the second floor, saying softly, ”Fifth Brother, you’re overthinking it. This matter might not be as complicated as you imagine.”

”It’s not complex?” Chen Wuye said anxiously, ”The Purple Robe Lama is involved. If we create such a formidable enemy, it isn’t just complex.”

Helian Tiehua did not answer his words, as he had already entered his room. Chen Wuye stood downstairs, looking at the closed door of Helian Tiehua with a face full of frustration. Helian Tiehua’s response to this matter was unexpected, could it be that Helian Tiehua wasn’t afraid of provoking Brahmanism as an enemy? Or, perhaps Helian Tiehua already had an idea in mind and knew how to handle this matter?

Thinking of this, a sharp glint appeared in Chen Wuye’s eyes. Perhaps Helian Tiehua already had a plan and knew exactly how he wanted to deal with the upcoming situation. But what was he planning to do?

Helian Tiehua didn’t say, and Chen Wuye couldn’t guess. It seemed that everything would only become clear after tomorrow night when the Purple Robe Lama arrived.

The time passed quickly, and by the next evening, Ye Qing hastily had a meal and drove alone to Wuming Temple in the Southern Suburb.

Wuming Temple, in Shenchuan City, is not a famous temple. Early years ago, it was almost razed to ruins by a fire. Although now renovated, most of the monks from the temple had left for other places, so it remained sparsely inhabited. At night, no one was there except for two elderly gate-keeping monks.

This evening, Wuming Temple was lively. When Ye Qing arrived, over a dozen monks were gathered inside. Judging by their attire, they were Brahmanism believers.

Seeing Ye Qing’s car arrive, these believers turned their heads, glaring at Ye Qing in the vehicle with hostility. Among these monks were the three who went to notify Ye Qing yesterday; their gaze was the most resentful, as Ye Qing had seriously embarrassed them yesterday.

Ye Qing paid no attention to the expressions of these monks. He parked the car and walked straight to the temple gate, looking at the monk who had gone to notify him yesterday, saying, ”Has the Brahmanism protector arrived?”

”The Supreme Protector arrived a while ago and thought you wouldn’t dare to come,” the monk coldly replied.

Ye Qing didn’t bother arguing with the monk, ”Go and report that Ye Qing has come to the meeting.”

”The Supreme Protector said no report is needed; I’ll take you in directly,” the monk turned and said, ”Follow me.”

Inside the temple were more monks, around thirty, all from Brahmanism. Most of these monks hadn’t met Ye Qing. However, seeing the monk leading Ye Qing inside, it was easy to guess Ye Qing’s identity, and everyone stared at him with hostility, appearing ready to attack him any moment.

Ye Qing seemed oblivious to these people, walking straight into the temple under the hostile stares of the crowd, completely ignoring their glances and expressions.

This temple was not large, and upon entering, one could see the main hall clearly. Inside, three people were seated — two were old monks with wrinkled faces, and judging by their attire, they weren’t dressed as Brahmanism monks, looking more likely to be the two elderly gatekeepers of Wuming Temple.

The third monk wore a purple lama attire, and although it was hard to see his features from a distance, without much thought, this must be the Supreme Protector of Brahmanism, one of the Five Unmatches of the World, the Purple Robe Lama.
