Urban Martial Saint

Handsome Fatty Wang forced Northern Martial Zen away, but didn’t slow down, charging straight ahead.

Ye Qing was standing in the direction of the car hood, surprised to see Handsome Fatty Wang driving to hit Northern Martial Zen. He thought, why is the fat guy helping me? However, as Handsome Fatty Wang drove towards him, Ye Qing was startled again, thinking, does this fat guy want to hit me too?

Ye Qing quickly dodged to the side, but Handsome Fatty Wang had no intention of hitting him, stopping the car beside Ye Qing and urgently shouting, ”What are you standing there for? Get in the car!”

Only then did Ye Qing realize Handsome Fatty Wang’s true purpose; he was actually there to save him. There was no time to ponder why Handsome Fatty Wang would do this, so he quickly jumped into the car, shouting, ”Drive fast!”

”You don’t need to say it, Fat Lord’s got his foot on the gas!” Handsome Fatty Wang shouted back, slamming down on the accelerator, the vehicle lurched forward, nearly throwing Ye Qing off.

”Think you can escape?” Northern Martial Zen roared, chasing after them. The car had just started, its speed could not match Northern Martial Zen, who was closing in, almost reaching the side of the car.

”What the hell is that, running so fast?” Handsome Fatty Wang was so scared he was at a loss, his voice trembling.

Seeing Northern Martial Zen getting closer and closer, Ye Qing suddenly grabbed the steering wheel and violently turned it to the side. They were driving on the road to the dock, with the sea beside them, and with one turn, the car lost control and plunged into the sea.

”You damn…” Handsome Fatty Wang opened his mouth to curse, but got only four words out before the car plunged into the sea, with the rest of the curse swallowed by the seawater.

Northern Martial Zen chased up, stood by the shore looking at the off-road vehicle that had sunk into the water, gritted his teeth and stayed silent for a while, but never jumped in.

”Puh!” With a long gasp, Handsome Fatty Wang surfaced, saw Ye Qing beside him, and immediately swore, ”Damn you. What the hell were you thinking? If you can’t drive, don’t touch the steering wheel. Who drives a car into the sea?”

”Shut up!” Ye Qing scolded him, looking at Northern Martial Zen standing on the shore, and couldn’t help but chuckle, saying, ”So Senior Bei can’t swim, huh?”

”Is that so?” Handsome Fatty Wang perked up, excitedly looking at Northern Martial Zen on the shore, saying, ”Huh? Seems like it, this old guy isn’t getting in the water. Wow, Northern Martial Zen, such a badass master, can’t swim, that’s a real Jianghu secret, I must spread the word!”

Northern Martial Zen trembled with anger, having been famous for so many years, rarely finding something he couldn’t do. But swimming, he really couldn’t do it, growing up in the North was different from those who grew up by the sea in the South. The water at the dock was at least dozens of meters deep; even with great martial arts, without swimming skills, he would still sink after jumping in.

In fact, Ye Qing had guessed this, that Northern Martial Zen couldn’t swim, so at the critical moment, he drove the car into the water. With Northern Martial Zen almost catching up, escaping was impossible. They had to find a way to avoid Northern Martial Zen, or they would be doomed. Surprisingly, this method worked, Northern Martial Zen hesitating at the shore, giving Ye Qing and Handsome Fatty Wang a temporary breather.

”Hey, Xuao Bei’zi, come down and fight your Fat Lord. Weren’t you just acting tough? Now why are you silent? Come on, come on, Fat Lord is waiting here for you, hurry up and come!” Handsome Fatty Wang taunted non-stop in the water, being the kind of guy who forgets pain after the scar heals. Just a moment ago, he was being chased to his wits’ end by Northern Martial Zen, and now he was provoking him again.

Northern Martial Zen was gritting his teeth, standing angrily on the shore, saying in a low voice, ”Hmph, I want to see how long you can stay in the water. Though the Southern winter isn’t that cold, staying in the water, you won’t last long!”

”Doesn’t matter to you, Fat Lord has thick fat, I can take it, just not coming ashore, if you dare, come bite me!” Handsome Fatty Wang replied boastfully.

Handsome Fatty Wang’s attitude was really infuriating, but Northern Martial Zen, despite being extremely angry, had no other options and could only stand on the shore fuming.

”Stop bickering with him, let’s get out of here quick, or else we’ll really freeze to death later!” Ye Qing quietly reminded Handsome Fatty Wang.

”Where the hell can we run? No matter where we go, he’ll just be on the shore chasing.” Handsome Fatty Wang replied, ”Once we’re out of energy swimming, we’ll still be dead!”

”But we can’t just wait here to die, if you’re not going, I’m leaving!” Ye Qing took a deep breath, headed downstream with the water current.

”Hey, wait for your Fat Lord! You leave just like that, that’s too unbrotherly.” Hand Fatty Wang muttered, following downstream with Ye Qing, saving quite a bit of energy.

”Hmph, I don’t believe you can escape to the Ends of the Earth!” Northern Martial Zen stood on the shore, watching Handsome Fatty Wang and Ye Qing from afar, steadily following. He wasn’t worried about them swimming deeper into the sea; if they did, they’d really just be seeking death. If they run out of strength, they’d drown in the sea.

In fact, Ye Qing and Handsome Fatty Wang didn’t dare to swim into the deep sea; they just swam within the range of the shore. They wouldn’t go too far from the shore, but neither would they stay too close to it.

This situation lasted for about half an hour. The two swam roughly five miles when Handsome Fatty Wang suddenly shouted, ”I’m done for! Damn it, this is too damned tiring; I can’t swim any further!”

Ye Qing was in better shape, after all, he had Inner Strength, so this distance was nothing for him. However, Handsome Fatty Wang was different. This guy was all flab and had no energy to swim so far.

”If you can’t swim, come ashore,” Northern Martial Zen stood by the shore, sneering. ”Drowning in the sea is a lot more uncomfortable than dying by my hands.”

”Get lost! I’d rather feed the fish in the sea than die by your bastard hands!” Handsome Fatty Wang shouted back.

”Fine, I’ll just watch how you feed the fish!” Northern Martial Zen sneered.

Handsome Fatty Wang shouted, ”Even if I feed the fish, I’ll sink to the bottom of the sea to do so. I won’t let you **** see it. Bite me!”

Northern Martial Zen kept sneering, not bothering to respond to Handsome Fatty Wang. In his view, these two would have to come ashore sooner or later, and he couldn’t be bothered to argue pointlessly with them.

Handsome Fatty Wang cursed a few more times, but seeing Northern Martial Zen remain silent, he lost interest and turned to Ye Qing, ”Hey, Young Ye, looks like I have to go first.”

”Cut the crap, you won’t die!” Ye Qing reached out a hand and lifted the nearly submerged Handsome Fatty Wang.

”Enough, stop wasting your energy!” Handsome Fatty Wang said, ”Forget about me, you might be able to survive.”

”If you hadn’t helped me earlier, you would’ve already escaped!” Ye Qing replied.

”Yes, I know!” Handsome Fatty Wang said, ”But if I had left, wouldn’t you definitely be dead? Ye, do you really think I’m the kind of ungrateful person? Last time at Wan Yan Manor, you managed to come back and save me, and I’ve always remembered that. This time, I’m returning the favor. From now on, we’re even, and don’t mention that you saved me again!”

Although Handsome Fatty Wang’s words were quite uncivilized, they warmed Ye Qing’s heart. He used to think this fat guy was just a big pit, but now it seemed that this guy was actually quite loyal.

”Last time at the airport, I saved you once too, so it adds up to two times!” Ye Qing said, ”If you want to repay, you owe me two times, once is not enough!”

”Damn, you’re just hiking up the price. Last time at the airport, even without you, I could’ve escaped, wouldn’t...” Handsome Fatty Wang’s words weren’t finished before he suddenly sank, swallowing a mouthful of seawater.

Ye Qing was startled and quickly pulled Handsome Fatty Wang out of the water.

”Ahh, damn, it’s so salty!” Handsome Fatty Wang spat out several mouthfuls and said, ”I’m telling you, the airport incident was different. Without you, I could’ve escaped, so I’m not grateful for that. Alright, enough talking, I’ve hardly done any good in my life, damn it, if I do one good deed and leave my life here? Sigh, perhaps being bad is better, at least you live longer!”

Ye Qing said nothing, pursing his lips as he held up Handsome Fatty Wang. By this time, he too was feeling very strained. After all, this was in the water, so the forces were different. Additionally, Handsome Fatty Wang was completely out of strength now, and Ye Qing had to keep himself afloat while supporting Handsome Fatty Wang, which required much more strength than before; even he found it hard to bear.

”Young Ye, I told you, forget about me, run on your own!” Handsome Fatty Wang tried to pull Ye Qing’s hand.

”Shut up!” Ye Qing reached out and pressed several major acupoints on Handsome Fatty Wang, making him unable to struggle further and continued to swim forward with him.

”Go ahead, swim. Hehe, I want to see how far you two can swim!” Northern Martial Zen stood on the shore, sneering continuously, like a cat playing with a mouse.

Handsome Fatty Wang had been hit on the Dumb Acupoint by Ye Qing, so he couldn’t say a word even though his mouth was open wide, and could only watch Ye Qing gritting his teeth, swimming forward with one hand. This scene moved Handsome Fatty Wang, and he was genuinely touched. Although there had been quite a few minor clashes between them earlier, at this moment, their relationship seemed more like that of brothers.

Ye Qing, however, wasn’t in the mood to think about these things. He just wanted to do his best to save Handsome Fatty Wang. But where could he swim to ensure their survival in this vast ocean?
