Urban Martial Saint

Although he had this thought, Ye Qing did not act immediately. After all, he still wanted to see who he was supposed to rescue tonight. Moreover, he wasn’t sure if these three people were truly enemies. If he attacked the wrong people, it wouldn’t be good.

So, Ye Qing simply hid in another place, observing the situation at the dock while quietly watching these three people.

The three people hadn’t noticed Ye Qing and were still observing the situation at the dock. After about forty minutes, an SUV drove to the edge of the dock, and two men got out. From the way they talked, it seemed they were negotiating with the people at the dock.

The guy with the binoculars among the three straightened up and said, ”They’ve arrived!”

”Then hurry up and notify our people,” another man said in a low voice.

”No rush, let’s wait until they’re on the boat,” the third man said.

”Nonsense, can we wait until they’re on the boat?” the second man said in a low voice. ”If they get on the boat and someone among them knows how to drive it, they could just take off, and our efforts would be wasted.”

The man with the binoculars immediately said, ”You’re right, quickly, quickly, call them. It’s three million, better to be cautious!”

Ye Qing heard this clearly; it seemed these three weren’t the main perpetrators, just lookouts. The real killers weren’t them.

While the three were busy calling, Ye Qing quietly looked down. Those two men still seemed to be negotiating. However, it was clear that the people at the dock were intentionally stalling and not letting them board directly.

It was far away, and with the night sky, Ye Qing couldn’t see their faces clearly. But after about five minutes, several vehicles rushed towards the dock aggressively. Chances were high they were coming to deal with these people.

Ye Qing got excited; it seemed Old Wang Ba was right. It was almost eleven, and a fight was definitely going to break out here. Yet, Ye Qing never got a good look at the two men’s faces from this angle and had no idea who was about to be ambushed, making him uneasy. His intuition told him Old Wang Ba was most likely setting him up in this matter.

However, since he was already here, Ye Qing wasn’t going to just sit there and do nothing. Actually, he had some trust in Old Wang Ba, given how much help he had received from him.

Seeing the vehicles approaching, the three guys got visibly excited, clamoring about getting three million.

While the three were off guard, Ye Qing quietly approached them from behind. Suddenly, he leaped up, grabbing the necks of two of them and knocking their heads together. The two men didn’t even know what hit them before they were knocked out. The third man didn’t have time to react before Ye Qing grabbed him by the neck and pinned him to the ground.

”Don’t make a sound, or I’ll kill you first!” Ye Qing threatened in a low voice.

The man under Ye Qing was clearly startled but quickly regained his composure. He glanced at Ye Qing and whispered, ”Brother, do you have the wrong person? I’m Water Snake, in charge of this dock, but I don’t think I’ve met you, brother!”

So this man was Water Snake. Ye Qing was slightly surprised but then said sternly, ”Of course, you haven’t seen me. We have no grudge, and I don’t want to kill you. Just answer a few questions honestly, and I assure you, you’ll be fine!”

Water Snake said, ”Brother, you must have heard of my name, Water Snake. You come at me openly, and I’ll answer whatever you ask. But if I answer you like this, how am I supposed to live outside in the future?”

Hearing Water Snake’s words, Ye Qing suddenly felt angry. This Water Snake was still wanting to save face at this moment. His attitude might work on others, but Ye Qing wouldn’t be fooled.

Ye Qing directly pulled out the Wu Hong Dagger from his waist and pressed it against Water Snake’s neck, saying in a low voice, ”If you don’t answer me, you won’t have to worry about living in the future. I don’t want to waste time. First question, who are the people trying to smuggle below?”

Water Snake was just bluffing, and with the Wu Hong Dagger caressing his neck, he quickly relented. He shrank back while speaking tremulously, ”Brother, brother, watch your knife... I’ll talk, I’ll talk, okay?”

”Talk quickly!” Ye Qing pushed the knife closer, scaring Water Snake nearly to wet his pants. He hurriedly said, ”Alright, alright, they... they’re people from out of town, supposedly in business, ran into trouble, and are trying to flee abroad.”

”Business people?” Ye Qing was a bit surprised. Why would Old Wang Ba ask him to save some business people?

”Who wants to kill them?” Ye Qing asked in a deep voice.

Water Snake said, ”I don’t know about that, but these people are not ones to mess with. They paid three hundred thousand to stop these people. With money and power, we dare not offend them, nor dare we inquire about their identity!”

Ye Qing felt a little frustrated. He had captured Water Snake to find out the specific identities of those people below. But now, it was as if he hadn’t asked at all; he couldn’t get any crucial information.

At this moment, the cars below had already rushed to the dock. The two people who heard the sound of the cars felt something was wrong and quickly turned to the car to escape. However, the dock road only had one path, and with several cars surrounding them, they had no chance to escape, being encircled directly in the middle by the cars. Immediately, more than a dozen people got out of the cars, rushed toward the car, surrounded it in the middle, and the people inside the car closed the doors tightly, daring not to even open the windows.

Seeing this situation, Ye Qing couldn’t sit still any longer. With the chaos, if he didn’t go down now, the people inside the car might not be able to hold on.

”Old Wang Ba, damn you!” Ye Qing cursed in his heart, knocking Water Snake unconscious with a swift strike, then sprinted down the mountain road, heading straight for the dock.

At the dock, Water Snake’s men had long since backed away; since it was none of their business, they didn’t want to get involved. The car was surrounded in the middle, more than a dozen people were hitting the car windows with sticks or something, the car’s glass around was shattered, and the situation was extremely dire.

Things had come to this point; Ye Qing couldn’t sit back any longer. He took a deep breath and suddenly shouted, ”Stop!”

Ye Qing’s shout was loud, reaching the ears of everyone on the scene, and they all turned their heads to look.

Before Ye Qing could speak again, a cold, angry voice suddenly came from the side, ”Ye Qing!”

Someone recognises me?

Ye Qing was surprised and turned to look, only to see a person getting out of the car next to him. And this person was none other than Prince Wan Yan’s son, Wan Yan Ming!

Wan Yan Ming’s face was frosty, looking at Ye Qing angrily, saying in a deep voice, ”Ye Qing, it’s you again!”

Ye Qing was full of astonishment. He hadn’t expected that the people who were out to kill were Wan Yan Ming’s people. This meant the identity of the people in the middle car was now very clear, wasn’t it?

While Ye Qing was worrying in his heart, a head actually popped out of the car excitedly, ”Hey, Ye brothers, you’re here. Great, we meet again!”

This head was round and chubby, with a face that looked much more punchable than Old Wang Ba’s. It was none other than Handsome Fatty Wang, who had scammed Ye Qing several times!

Ye Qing almost spat blood; when he saw Wan Yan Ming, he guessed that the people in the car must be with Handsome Fatty Wang. Unexpectedly, it really was Handsome Fatty Wang. This almost drove Ye Qing crazy. Old Wang Ba sent him to rescue people, and it turned out to be Handsome Fatty Wang? Damn it, wasn’t this deliberately playing him?

Hearing Handsome Fatty Wang’s words, Wan Yan Ming was furious, ”Damn Ye, I knew it. You and Fat Wang are in this together; you’ve confessed now. Hmph, I should never have treated you separately. Earlier, we should have directly dealt with both of you. If we had controlled both of you at that time, there wouldn’t be so much trouble afterward!”

Ye Qing was extremely depressed. Since when did he and Handsome Fatty Wang become a team? Old Wang Ba, the old man, was indeed digging a pit for him again. Not only sending him to save this troublemaker, but also trapping him. He had finally made Prince Wan Yan think it was Handsome Fatty Wang who took the genuine article, shifting Prince Wan Yan’s attention to Handsome Fatty Wang. But now, it was all undone, directly drawing Prince Wan Yan’s attention back, making all his previous efforts in vain.

”Old Wang Ba, damn you!” Ye Qing cursed again in his heart.

”Ye brothers, you came just in time. Quick, settle this Wan Yan Ming. This bastard has been chasing me for days, just to snatch our Gold Silk Armor. We can’t let him go this time!” Handsome Fatty Wang fanned the flames nearby.

Wan Yan Ming was furious in his heart, glaring coldly at Ye Qing, saying in a deep voice, ”Hmph, Ye, even though your strength isn’t weak, killing me, Wan Yan Ming, won’t be so easy!”

Ye Qing frowned. In that short period, several thoughts turned in his mind. If he had known earlier it was Wan Yan Ming and Handsome Fatty Wang’s matter, he wouldn’t have come even if it killed him. But now that things had come to this, he couldn’t just leave. After all, Wan Yan Ming was his enemy. Moreover, Old Wang Ba said that saving this person could reveal the matters about the Divine Doctor’s Order. So, this time, he had to save Handsome Fatty Wang.

”I wasn’t planning to kill you, but...” Ye Qing looked calmly at Wan Yan Ming, saying, ”But you can’t kill Fat Wang either!”
