Urban Martial Saint

Ye Qing dragged Handsome Fatty Wang into the car, ready to drive away from this place. Who knew, as soon as he closed the car door, Handsome Fatty Wang suddenly pointed behind Ye Qing and exclaimed, ”Hey, hey, hey, Young Ye, you... look over there, look over there...”

Ye Qing frowned and said, ”You don’t need to play this game with me, trying to escape? Let me tell you, don’t even think about it!”

”No, I’m serious, there’s a person over there!” Handsome Fatty Wang said urgently.

Ye Qing didn’t turn around: ”What person? Trying to trick me into turning my head and then escape? Hmph, do you think you can get away?”

Handsome Fatty Wang said, ”Damn, are you always this distrustful? There’s really someone, and you even know them!”

Ye Qing was slightly surprised, looking at Handsome Fatty Wang’s expression, it seemed he wasn’t lying. But if someone was really behind him, how could he not sense it?

After hesitating slightly, Ye Qing turned his head to look. Indeed, not thirty meters behind him, a person stood far away.

Seeing this person, Ye Qing’s face immediately changed, because this person was none other than Northern Martial Zen, whom he had schemed against at Wan Yan Manor previously!

Last time, Ye Qing took Northern Martial Zen to Wan Yan Manor, not only digging up the Wanyan Family’s ancestral tomb but also stealing the Dragon Blood Wood key from them. Because of this incident, Northern Martial Zen completely fell out with the Wanyan Family, and recently, the Wanyan Family had declared war on Northern Martial Zen. However, Prince Wan Yan was busy trying to recover the Gold Silk Armor, so they hadn’t clashed yet. But the feud was set, and Northern Martial Zen was thoroughly humiliated by Ye Qing.

This time, seeing Northern Martial Zen again, Ye Qing had no doubt that Northern Martial Zen wouldn’t let him go. So, upon seeing Northern Martial Zen, Ye Qing’s heart sank, cursing Old Wang Ba in his mind—wasn’t this putting him onto the gun muzzle?

”Ye Qing!” Northern Martial Zen snickered, saying, ”Long time no see, you’re doing quite well!”

Listening to Northern Martial Zen’s voice, Ye Qing felt his hair standing on end, seeing the murderous intent in Northern Martial Zen’s eyes.

Having reached this point, Ye Qing knew he had nowhere to escape, so he stubbornly replied, ”You’re doing well too!”

”Thanks to you, I’ve had a rather enriching time lately!” Northern Martial Zen said with constant sneers, ”So, I’ve traveled from the North to thank you! Originally, I planned to take this Dragon Blood Wood and visit you in Shenchuan City. But it seems fate has brought us together here. Clearly, it’s destiny!”

Northern Martial Zen spoke with a strange tone, making Ye Qing’s heart uneasy, while also understanding why Northern Martial Zen came here. It seemed Northern Martial Zen was actually after Handsome Fatty Wang, intending to steal the Dragon Blood Wood and Gold Silk Armor from him first. However, Ye Qing happened to come here as well, so the two ran into each other.

Honestly, Ye Qing was terribly frustrated now. When he first saw Handsome Fatty Wang, he was already cursing Old Wang Ba, thinking this was a setup. But compared to the current situation, the previous one was nothing—this was the real trap. Old Wang Ba brought him here, leading him to meet Northern Martial Zen; wasn’t Ye Qing doomed now?

”Mr. Bei, here’s the Dragon Blood Wood you wanted, I’ll just leave it here!” Handsome Fatty Wang put the previous bag by the car and said with a smile, ”This is between you two, I shouldn’t interfere, I’ll head out!”

This guy, earlier he was cursing his two subordinates for lack of loyalty, and now he’s planning to run off. But, Northern Martial Zen isn’t Ye Qing; how could he let Handsome Fatty Wang go?

”Stop!” Northern Martial Zen shouted coldly, shocking Handsome Fatty Wang into a shiver, not daring to move forward.

Northern Martial Zen said coldly, ”Stand there obediently, if I’m in a good mood, I might spare you.”

Handsome Fatty Wang opened his mouth but eventually didn’t dare to speak, standing honestly beside the car. He knew Northern Martial Zen was not Ye Qing. Ye Qing would reason; Northern Martial Zen wouldn’t care for any reasoning, so he dared not talk back to Northern Martial Zen.

”Northern Martial Zen, you’re considered a senior; attacking a junior and someone who doesn’t know martial arts, aren’t you afraid of being laughed at by people around the world?” Ye Qing said sternly.

Northern Martial Zen laughed coldly, ”Hmph, in this wilderness, if I kill you, who would know, who would laugh at me?”

Ye Qing frowned deeply; this Northern Martial Zen was not someone who cared about face. It seemed like this time he was really in trouble. Could it be that he was really going to fall here this time?

”As the saying goes, you can’t wrap fire in paper. Sooner or later, this matter will get out, and everyone under heaven will find out,” Ye Qing said, trying to buy time while quietly observing the surrounding terrain, looking for a place suitable for escaping with his life.

However, this was an empty dock, and although there were roads all around, with Northern Martial Zen’s strength, there was no way Ye Qing could outrun him.

”We’ll talk about the future later. Today, I’ll kill you first!” Northern Martial Zen sneered as he strode towards Ye Qing, clearly not wanting to waste time.

Faced with Northern Martial Zen’s aggressive approach, Ye Qing quickly turned and got back into the car, trying to drive away from this place. However, the car seemed to have been damaged by those people, and Ye Qing couldn’t start it after several attempts. By this time, Northern Martial Zen had already reached the car’s side and ripped the door off with a single hand.

”Trying to run?” Northern Martial Zen sneered, reaching directly to grab Ye Qing’s neck.

Ye Qing raised his arm to block, but when his elbow hit Northern Martial Zen’s arm, it was like hitting a pillar, unable to budge him at all. Seeing Northern Martial Zen’s hand getting close to his neck, Ye Qing instinctively tilted his head to the side, narrowly avoiding the grab.

Missing Ye Qing, Northern Martial Zen grabbed the passenger seat behind Ye Qing. With a roar, he wrenched half of it out.

Ye Qing had already taken advantage of the situation to leap out of the car, but compared to Northern Martial Zen, he was ultimately a step slower and was struck on the back by the passenger seat.

Normally, a genuine leather passenger seat wouldn’t hurt much when hitting the body. However, since it was Northern Martial Zen who struck, it was different. This soft object hit Ye Qing’s back, and his vision went black from the pain, causing him to involuntarily let out a groan, showing how strong Northern Martial Zen was!

Northern Martial Zen casually tossed the passenger seat aside and raised his foot to stomp on Ye Qing. Fortunately, Ye Qing reacted quickly, rolling on the ground to dodge Northern Martial Zen’s foot, but he still ended up looking disheveled from being chased. His strength was not on the same level as Northern Martial Zen’s, and the gap in inner strength left Ye Qing unable to fully wield his martial arts. In the end, Ye Qing’s fists and feet had no effect on Northern Martial Zen’s body. Moreover, Northern Martial Zen had practiced for decades, with skills far superior to Ye Qing’s. In a fight, Ye Qing had no advantage whatsoever.

”Hmph, you’re quite agile, aren’t you? But so what? How long can you keep running?” Northern Martial Zen sneered mockingly while chasing Ye Qing, ”Is this the descendant of the King of North-South Boxing? What a joke, with the King of North-South Boxing’s skills, only producing such a failure like you?”

Ye Qing gritted his teeth, desperately dodging Northern Martial Zen’s attacks, but the gap between them was too wide. After taking two punches from Northern Martial Zen, Ye Qing’s inner strength and energy were in turmoil. If not for Ye Qing holding on, he would probably have started coughing up blood by now. However, his heart sank to an all-time low. Was he really going to die here this time?

Northern Martial Zen was completely toying with Ye Qing like a cat playing with a mouse. With his strength, if he genuinely wanted to kill Ye Qing, Ye Qing would have been dead long ago. He was just messing around, intending to deal with Ye Qing when he was exhausted and powerless.

Just then, a horn sounded behind them. Northern Martial Zen turned his head, only to see the car that Handsome Fatty Wang had just started.

Northern Martial Zen frowned tightly, pointing at Handsome Fatty Wang and saying in a deep voice, ”What do you think you’re doing?”

”Isn’t it obvious, damn it!” Handsome Fatty Wang’s face turned red as he suddenly stepped on the gas pedal, driving straight towards Northern Martial Zen with an aggressive look, as if intending to ram him to death!

Ye Qing couldn’t help but gasp; Handsome Fatty Wang was about thirty to forty meters away. He had just managed to start the car; if he quietly turned around and left, even Northern Martial Zen wouldn’t be able to catch up to him. What was this fatty thinking? Why hadn’t he left, but instead drove towards Northern Martial Zen?

Although Northern Martial Zen was very strong, he wasn’t strong enough to dare stand up to a collision with an SUV. Seeing Handsome Fatty Wang charging aggressively, he immediately leaped to the side to avoid Handsome Fatty Wang’s car, and said angrily, ”Are you daring to oppose me?”

”Are you blind? Does that need to be asked? Can’t you see?” Handsome Fatty Wang yelled back loudly.

”You’re looking for death!” Northern Martial Zen roared with rage, wishing to catch up and kill Handsome Fatty Wang immediately. However, since Handsome Fatty Wang was driving a car, no matter how strong he was, he couldn’t outrun a car.

”Let’s see which one of us dies first!” Handsome Fatty Wang shouted, turning the car around to charge at Northern Martial Zen again.

Northern Martial Zen quickly dodged, and as he was passing by the car, he suddenly reached out to grab the car body, intending to jump onto the car. However, Handsome Fatty Wang wasn’t an idiot either. Seeing Northern Martial Zen charging over, he twisted the steering wheel sharply, and the car’s body immediately hit Northern Martial Zen. Though Northern Martial Zen was strong, he couldn’t withstand a car collision, so he had to step back to temporarily avoid it.
