The Ace Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Chapter 1516: Chapter 1516: The Benefits Shu Yu Offers

Wei Ronghua was silent for a moment again. After raising his head, he asked somewhat uncertainly, ”Is Old Master Miao’s current situation related to Monarch Lu Xiang?”

Shu Yu felt he was indeed a very perceptive person. After considering, she replied, ”There is indeed some indirect connection.”

Wei Ronghua’s pupils shrank slightly, and after a long time, he exhaled a long breath.

”If serving as Manager Wei in the prefecture for Lu’s, what is the monthly wage?”

Shu Yu smiled, starting to discuss wages, which indicated that he agreed.

”Ten taels a month, of course, that’s the basic wage. If the business is good or there are extra large orders, bonuses will be distributed based on the monthly profit.”

Wei Ronghua was surprised. He had always received fixed wages, whether as a manager in the prefecture or the county town, he had never heard of distributing bonuses based on monthly profits.

Moreover, originally his wage in the prefecture was seven taels, slightly less at Red Cake. Initially, it was three taels a month, and after several years, it increased to five taels, which was already considered good.

He didn’t expect Monarch Lu Xiang to directly offer ten taels.

But her words weren’t finished yet.

”These are about the wages. Other benefits include a health check every six months, oh, that is, having a doctor check for peace pulses, this is also for everyone’s health. During the holidays, gifts will be distributed, which have already been implemented over at the workshop. Also, for those who make significant contributions to the shop, there will be rewards, generally a cart or a house.”

Of course, realizing this last point is quite difficult.

But who knows? With such incentives, there might be unexpected surprises.

Wei Ronghua was really surprised, even being able to check peace pulses, holiday gifts, and possibly getting a cart or house as a reward???

”Boss, is what you’re saying true?”

He had already changed his term of address, apparently quite tempted.

Shu Yu smiled, taking out two pieces of paper from her sleeve, ”This is the contract, with very detailed regulations inside, you can take a look.”

Wei Ronghua took the contract, his mouth twitched hard twice, his eyes complex.

Back when Boss Ge directly brought out the contract, he was not surprised. How come she was also prepared?

But he still took it over, carefully reading it bit by bit, the more he read, the brighter his eyes became, finally, he laughed, ”Boss, I look forward to your care in the future.”

Shu Yu was delighted, ”It seems Manager Wei agrees, that’s good. Our shop opens on the first day of September, still half a month away, and we are currently preparing. These two days, Manager Wei should first tidy up and settle in the prefecture.”

At this point, she paused, smiling, ”By the way, there’s a large courtyard behind the shop. Besides the warehouse and account room, there are four or five rooms. If Manager Wei doesn’t mind, you can stay in the back courtyard.”

The shop she bought was originally two large shops connected by the previous owner, of course, the accompanying courtyard was also very large.

However, the original rooms weren’t many. After renovation now, Shu Yu had several rooms partitioned off. Besides the warehouse, the other rooms are quite small, originally for the shop staff to live in.

Wei Ronghua shook his head, ”No need, my original house is still there, it’s only two streets away from Fengtao Lane, so it’s not far.”

Shu Yu laughed, leaving the prefecture for six or seven years yet not selling the house, clearly from the start he had considered returning.
