The Ace Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Chapter 1138: Chapter 1138: Wang Jiayi Wants to Kill Two Birds with One Stone

The night is quite nice today, the moonlight illuminating the path ahead clearly.

Even though Shu Yu and Ying Xi are not familiar with the Yao Family’s backyard, it doesn’t prevent them from closely following Wang Jiayi.

Wang Jiayi is evidently a bit nervous, occasionally getting tripped up. But she manages to restrain herself, not making a sound.

As expected, Wang Jiayi indeed heads towards the courtyard of Yao Po and his wife.

Once she arrives outside the courtyard, she lets out a sigh of relief and stops.

She then finds a corner, crouches down, and hides herself without moving.

Ying Xi frowns, ”What is she doing lurking there?”

Shu Yu presses her lips together, deep in thought.

They wait for a while, but Wang Jiayi remains motionless. Ying Xi feels puzzled, ”Miss, what exactly is Wang Jiayi doing here?”

Coming to Young Master Yao’s courtyard door, only to huddle in a corner? Trying to be a statue?

”Yao An drugging Miss in the middle of the night, could Wang Jiayi also be here to drug someone?” Ying Xi says, ”But she shows no signs of making a move.”

”Wait, what did you just say? Drugging?” Shu Yu’s mind suddenly sparks with clarity at her words, abruptly looking up at Wang Jiayi.

Just then, Wang Jiayi also peeks out from the corner, looking anxiously into the distance.

This look strengthens Shu Yu’s suspicions even more.

”Wang Jiayi wants to become Yao Po’s main wife, but she never had a chance. You see, if Yao An drugs me, what would the result be?”

Ying Xi thinks it over, realizing Yao An went to great lengths for this act just to make Miss marry him.

He definitely wanted to be caught in bed, turning it into a done deal, leaving Miss no chance to back out.

So she replies, ”The result would be that tonight’s incident would blow up, everyone would see Yao An in Miss’s room.”

”Exactly, everyone would rush to my courtyard, including Brother Po and his wife, the hosts. Once they’re gone, there’d be hardly anyone left in this courtyard. Then, it would be the best opportunity for Wang Jiayi to drug.”

Ying Xi widens her eyes, ”Does she think that having relations with Young Master Yao would make her the main wife? The Young Madam is still here, and even pregnant. Even if the Yao Family really had to take responsibility, at most, they’d take her as a concubine.”

Shu Yu sneers, ”Looks like the fact that the sister-in-law is pregnant has pressured her greatly, making her very anxious.”

And coincidentally, today Yao Po is home, and she has the drugs ready.

If Yao An’s plan succeeded today, the Yao Family would certainly be on high alert, even sending the Yao siblings and Wang Jiayi out of the residence, leaving her with no chance.

Moreover, with Wang Jiayi using that kind of drug, there’s no way a pregnant Ms. Kang could resolve it with Yao Po.

She happens to be outside the courtyard, and as long as she pretends to hear the commotion and runs over, she could seize the opportunity; some things might actually be within reach.

Who knows, Ms. Kang might even be affected, losing the baby.

And wouldn’t that be killing two birds with one stone?

Thinking of Wang Jiayi possibly having such a malicious scheme, Shu Yu can’t help but sneer.

Just perfect, since they’ve come knocking today, let’s seize the chance to deal with these disgusting people.

Shu Yu tells Ying Xi, ”Sneak into the courtyard quietly from the left side, find Yao Po, and tell him everything that’s happening here, then...”
