The Ace Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Chapter 1128: Chapter 1128 Ms. Kang’s Pregnancy

Shu Yu smiled and said, “This is your destiny with this child.”

But Ms. Kang shook her head. She and Yao Po had been married for six or seven years, just half a year before her father-in-law was exiled.

Who knew it was such a coincidence that her father-in-law was framed, imprisoned, and soon after exiled to the southwest.

But at that time, she was already pregnant.

However, during that period her father-in-law was imprisoned, and the whole family was anxious and focused solely on his situation.

Even Ms. Kang herself was preoccupied, and because her menstrual cycle was always irregular, she paid even less attention to it when she was busy.

Who would have known that the delay in her cycle was because she was pregnant?

The whole family was haggard, she had no appetite and found it hard to sleep at night, and occasionally felt sick and wanted to vomit, but didn’t find it unusual.

When the verdict came out, Yao Tianqin was sentenced to exile in the southwest, her mother-in-law fainted, and her husband went everywhere pleading for help.

In the end, the result did not change, so the family decided to go to the southwest with Yao Tianqin.

Ms. Kang’s family wanted her to divorce Yao Po, but she didn’t agree. She packed things with her mother-in-law and resolutely joined the exiled group.

The journey was not peaceful, Yao Tianqin walked for nearly two months before arriving in Linzhang Prefecture.

By that time, Ms. Kang’s belly was already slightly showing.

Only then did everyone realize she was four months pregnant, but they found out too late as Ms. Kang showed signs of miscarriage.

By the time they arrived at the clinic and saw the doctor, after taking two doses of fetus-preserving medicine, they couldn’t save the child.

Ms. Kang’s health weakened because of this, and for five years in the southwest, she couldn’t conceive a child.

Yao Tianqin blamed himself, believing the child was lost because of him.

Madam Yao and Yao Po were even more guilty for not being careful enough, regretting not discovering the pregnancy even at three or four months.

Therefore, even though she hadn’t conceived in five or six years, the Yao family never rushed her.

They were even afraid she would feel bad, comforting her not to worry, that it was okay if there were no children, saying it was the Yao family’s fate, and urging her to be at ease.

But saying it was easy, while doing it was very hard.

The pressure inside Ms. Kang increased day by day, and losing the child made her blame herself the most. Others weren’t clear about her body, but she should have been the most aware.

But whether in Heichang County or Linzhang Prefecture, the doctors’ medical skills were very limited, and she saw many doctors and took a lot of medicine without much effect.

Later, Madam Ruan heard about this matter. She knew Zhao Xi understood medical skill, but wasn’t sure of his skills, so she asked Shu Yu.

Shu Yu went to inquire with Zhao Xi.

After Zhao Xi examined her, he applied acupuncture, prescribed medicine, and told her to stop all other medications and just take his prescription.

The Yao family had great trust in the Lu family, and although their doctor was very young, they still obediently followed the medical advice.

In less than half a year, she indeed became pregnant.

Ms. Kang was delighted, “It was just three months yesterday, and apart from Mother and Brother Po, we only told you; even my own family doesn’t know yet.”

There is a saying about waiting until the fetus is stable after three months before announcing it widely.

But Ms. Kang was still worried, “I wasn’t in good health before, so I fear something unexpected. I’ve been extra careful. But recently, because of those three people’s affairs, I’ve been very depressed. Yu, do you think it will have an impact?”

The impact is definitely there; a pregnant woman’s mood is especially important.
