The Ace Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Chapter 1129: Chapter 1129: Wang Jiayi Wants to Be the Main Wife

Shu Yu thought about finding Zhao Xi another day to have a look at her? Ms. Kang had always trusted him because she took the medicine he prescribed.

She was about to speak when she noticed the maid beside her looking as though she wanted to say something but hesitated.

Shu Yu couldn’t help but glance at her a couple of times. Ms. Kang also followed her gaze.

”Cai’er, what’s wrong? Why are you hesitating?”

Cai’er glanced at Shu Yu, and Ms. Kang waved her hand, ”It’s fine, you can say whatever you want, Yu is one of us.”

Shu Yu was unexpectedly choked by this inexplicable trust.

Only then did Cai’er quietly say, ”Young Madam, it seems that Miss Wang is also aware of your pregnancy.”

Miss Wang??

Shu Yu turned to look at Ms. Kang, whose face suddenly changed, and she slammed the table, ”How does she know?”

Cai’er said, ”This morning, when the doctor came to give you a follow-up, Miss Wang happened to encounter him on his way out. She asked who was sick, and I, being the one who saw the doctor out, only said that Young Madam you were a little unwell, without saying more. But then, when I returned after sending off the doctor, I saw Miss Wang’s maid coming out of the kitchen. After asking the kitchen, I found out the maid had gone to inquire about your fetus-preserving medicine.”

The Yao Family doesn’t have many servants, and since they haven’t been in the mansion long, the staff outside the main family members’ servants may not be particularly cautious. Miss Wang’s maid only needs to be a bit mindful to find out easily.

Cai’er initially wanted to report to Ms. Kang, but then a message came from the gatekeeper saying that the lady from the last time had arrived.

Madam Yao and Ms. Kang rushed to the living room, leaving no time to hear her speak.

Only now did Cai’er find the opportunity to speak up.

Who would have thought, upon hearing this, Ms. Kang felt suffocated with frustration, letting out a couple of heavy sighs.

Shu Yu was startled and quickly asked, ”Are you okay?” She turned her head and called Ying Xi, ”Quick, fetch the doctor.”

Ms. Kang raised her hand and waved it, ”I’m fine, just really stifled inside, but my body feels okay.”

Shu Yu poured her a glass of water, ”Are you really okay?”

”I’m fine.” Ms. Kang exhaled and, facing Shu Yu, as if she finally found an outlet, frowned and said, ”Yu, you have no idea, that Wang Jiayi, is really no good.”

When speaking of this person, Ms. Kang couldn’t swallow the anger in her chest.

”That lady is the daughter of the Aunt of Yao An’s siblings. She had nothing to do with our Yao Family originally. But when the Yao siblings came to the capital, she declared she wanted to come to the capital to see the sights, insisted on coming along, and now she’s staying at our house without feeling any embarrassment.”

”At first, I thought she was worried about Yao An, afraid he’d be distracted when he came to the capital. From what Yao Hong was hinting, it seemed like those two were a couple, but Yao An doesn’t seem that invested, just stringing her along. I even pitied her at one point for fancying such a man.”

”Who knew, she didn’t need my pity at all? Once she got to our house, she began quietly at first, but now it’s clear, she’s set her eyes on Brother Po.”

Shu Yu was stunned, ”You say she’s interested in Yao Po? Does she want to become Yao Po’s concubine or something?”

At least with Yao An, she could be the main wife, right?

However, Ms. Kang chuckled coldly, ”She doesn’t think much of being a concubine; she’s after being the main wife. She’s hoping for me and Brother Po to divorce!”
