My Alleged Husband

Chapter 2056: Chapter 1889: Childhood

So many things disappeared during my childhood, what do I truly want for myself?

Ran Zhihan suddenly didn’t know how he could voice his son’s words. Did he really need to confess this matter to his son? Actually, it’s not like that. Are many things done out of compulsion rather than desire? But his son was still so small, how could he bear to let him endure such hurt again? Every mother has her own inner thoughts and would spare no effort for her son, regardless of her character, she would do whatever it takes for her child.

”Child, haven’t you ever thought that this kind of training is really exhausting? Every day, mom sees you getting up so early, without even having time for breakfast before diving into intense training. Do you know it breaks mom’s heart? Mom wants you to grow up joyfully, to have a happy childhood so you can fondly recall it as you grow older. But in this state, even as you grow, how will you discern if your childhood was joyful or sorrowful? You cannot distinguish, because you’ve spent your childhood in training, never a day of carefree living!”

”Mom knows saying this seems unreasonable, but mom hopes you understand every word is for your good. I’ve endured so much heartbreak over the years alone, I can’t bear my son going through the same. As your mother, I just wish for you to live well!”

”Mom, you don’t need to worry so much about me. I’m no longer that little kid. I should grow up step by step, and show everyone that I’m the most capable. Since I’ve come this far, it proves I’ve made my choice. I’ll prove to my grandparents through my efforts, whatever their motives or attitudes were for abandoning me, it will be their loss. I will let the world know that only I can truly become the king of this world!”

No effort means no gain, without sweat, there’s no glory tomorrow; I’ll forever remember this. Only by relying on myself will I not end up covered in scars. No one is born to endure silently; they choose to keep peace to live untroubled lives. Not me, I want to support my family with my own hands, so everyone understands that the so-called tough guys are actually just child’s play. I aspire to be a strong person, providing a bright future for my parents, so they never argue over life’s pressures again!”

Zhang Ni’s words undeniably moved his mother deeply. Which mother doesn’t love her child? But each time she saw her child suffering, standing in the corner helplessly, unable to intervene, watching him undergo tough training, fall again and again.

Watching her son get hurt over and over again, her heart aches unbearably as his mother. Yet he always smiles, wanting everyone to believe no matter the cost, he is always the happiest, not wanting others to worry about him. He’s always so understanding, but no one has truly appreciated that as a child, he deserves emotional support too.

”My dear son, do you know how much it pains mom’s heart to see you like this? You’ve sacrificed so much for your dreams, but now you still endure mental anguish for unrelated people. Do you think I, as your mother, am willing to allow this? I never imagined my son would go through the rigorous training like his father. All I want is for you to smile happily at me every day, but heaven never grants me this opportunity. Why do you choose this irreversible path, knowing it leads to a dead end, yet insist on charging forward recklessly? You’re inviting trouble for yourself and hurting your own mother’s heart too!”

”Don’t say those words, believe me, one day I’ll make you proud. One day, your son will show what makes you proud. Your greatest pride in this world is having a son like me. I will prove through my actions that no one is more suited for these things than I, make those who abandoned me, those who scorned and mocked me pay dearly. No matter the cost, I will ensure they never hold their heads high again, no matter who they are, I will do this!”

Ran Zhihan wanted to say more, but his husband intervened. He knew no matter what they said now, their son wouldn’t listen. It’s better to let him contemplate his actions by himself.

”Enough, it’s the decision our son made himself, and he must bear the consequences. We, as parents, cannot choose the path for our son, the future, or decide which way he should go. We can only offer the greatest support in his future journey. Let him choose his own path, create his own life. I believe he has a small plan. We parents should not interfere!”

”But he is my hard-earned child, it’s impossible not to love him. Yet, what right do I have to say these words? Knowing some outcomes will make me struggle more, but I still have to say it. I hope one day, heaven will not fail my son’s efforts, allowing his wishes to come true!”

”Don’t worry, that day will come. As long as we are patient and always accompany our child, I believe there’s nothing he can’t achieve. Give our son a chance to showcase his smart brain and outstanding talent!”

A footprint marks the path we’ve walked together...
