My Alleged Husband

Chapter 1665: Chapter 1459: Forget It, You Can Leave

Forget it then, let you go, after all, I don’t have a choice.

”Darling, although you feel I have a valid point, shouldn’t you forgive your parents and stop fighting with them, otherwise your heart will be very painful. I don’t want to see you in such agony; you’re the man I love most in my life. How can I bear to see you living in such pain alone? But as your wife, how can I feel good about this? Ask others if they care about your feelings, but as your wife, I absolutely care about every feeling in your heart. How could I not know how much pain you are in? I really don’t want much. I just want you to live peacefully. In this life, we may accept different decisions and different lives, but we must hold each other’s hands and never separate. If you think what I’m saying makes sense, then forgive them. After all, they are already your parents. If we, because of our own reasons, never allow them to return home, how guilty would our hearts feel? Letting our parents be shut out from their own home is not something you or I would do, right? We can’t let others seize upon this reason to ridicule us. We should graciously forgive those who have hurt and abandoned us; that is truly the best way to repay others. It makes their hearts suffer more, doesn’t it?

They think those they hurt will definitely not forgive them, yet no matter what they can’t imagine that someone they hurt so deeply will ultimately easily choose to forgive them. Let this make them feel how much guilt they bear in their hearts. They will definitely think that everything they did was just a wrong decision at the time. Why would they hurt someone so good, how could they bear to harm them? Once we make this decision, they will have no way to hurt us again in this lifetime. Isn’t it best to let these things not become so complicated, living our own life well? Why let your heart suffer so much torment over and over?”

Zhang Yichen doesn’t know how to answer a single word his wife said. He only knows that what was said is indeed very reasonable, every word hit the mark in his heart, but he really cannot swallow his pride to forgive his parents. If he truly compromises, would they once again hurt him like before? He truly has no way to make such a decision. If it leads to continued harm, then why forgive them? It would be better to stick to his standards, and make them remember this lesson forever, that abandoning him will lead to a great price to pay. Perhaps then they will be more restrained, right??

”Dear, I know what you’re thinking, but I hope you realize that not everything done according to your thoughts is right. Someday you’ll understand that some things should be carefully thought through. Our parents once shut us out. Tonight, why would you think they came to ridicule us? They might think we don’t even have the most basic tolerance. We all say the sea can hold a hundred rivers and tolerance makes one great; why expose these things?

Your parents’ mistakes will never come down to you because I’m living so painfully. You have a bribe, you have your method of repeatedly forgiving them, letting them try to stay by your side, caring for you. If you truly feel uncomfortable, or they are insincere, you can always send them away again. You now don’t even give them a chance, easily shutting them out. That’s truly unreasonable. You are educated, and know that we have had different educations. Why would we let others seize upon this reason to ridicule us?

Husband, you know Grandfather is about pride; his pride stems from his daughter abandoning Jin Guang. Shouldn’t you adorn his so-called dignity for his sake? If others find out, they will surely ridicule Grandfather, saying Grandfather taught Sun Wufang. At that time, will others be jeering and accusing you shamelessly? Can you bear this? This girl sees her grandfather once again sacrificing for you, yet you’re unwilling to give him the slightest return. Can you really stand watching your grandfather in agony because of you? Actually, you don’t want to see such a result for anyone, but you don’t know how to address it. I have already told you all the ways to handle it. How you choose depends on your inner thoughts. If you truly wish to abandon your Grandfather, making him look so bad, then don’t value any of my words. You can pretend I didn’t say anything. He’s Grandfather; hope you can think clearly, because once you make this decision, whatever results from it must be faced alone. Others won’t give you another path, nor any chance to return. Think clearly about what you truly did wrong. Only by thinking through can you go further!”

Now Zhang Yichen feels truly conflicted, truly painful, really unsure of what decision he should make. Hating his parents is absolutely impossible, but should he display grace at this time, letting everyone know what kind of parents he has? Why repeatedly pay a heavy price, letting others feel everything is so natural?

”Fine, this time I’ll listen to you. I choose to forgive my parents. Then I hope they agree, no matter what, not to casually abandon me like before. I can’t bear them hurting me over and over. I am an ordinary person too, I also have needs because they once abandoned me. In this lifetime, I absolutely won’t have any chance to allow them again, because I can’t do it...”

When tears are swallowed silently, with grievances to endure.
