Super Rich by Doing as You Please

”Wow, he really is handsome.”

Dou Xiao said, her eyes sparkling, ”If he were my boyfriend, I’d wake up smiling in my sleep.”

”That’s impossible now.”

Chen Rui chuckled. ”Because he’s already Miss Xino’s boyfriend.”

”Is he really rich, too?”

”I think so.”

Chen Rui said, ”I heard from Dean He that the only reason the welfare institute is the way it is now is because he came for a visit and gave a simple nod.”

”He’s that incredible?”

Dou Xiao asked, confused, ”But aren’t the renovations, funding, and everything else handled by President Jiang from the Cloud Charity Organization?”

”President Jiang is just in charge of running it. The organization itself belongs to him.”

Dou Xiao was speechless.

’Rich, handsome, and so caring... He’s the perfect dream man for any woman!’

’But for now, all I can do is look and enjoy the view.’

’Good men, just like beautiful women, are always a scarce resource. The good ones get taken early.’

When Dean He saw them looking over, she waved for them to come closer.

Seeing this, Chen Rui and Dou Xiao walked over, a little shyly. ”Dean He!”

”Come, let me make an introduction,” Dean He said to the two of them. ”This is President Xu. He’s also Miss Xino’s boyfriend and, more importantly, the owner of our welfare institute.”

”Hello, President Xu,” the two said sweetly.

”President Xu.”

Dean He explained, ”You’ve met Chen Rui before. This newcomer is her classmate, Dou Xiao. She’s also a fourth-year university student interning with us.

Right now, the two of them are mainly responsible for the children’s daily lessons.”

”Thank you both for your hard work, and thank you for choosing to intern here.”

Xu Yun smiled. ”If you encounter any needs or difficulties in your work, just bring them up with Dean He. As long as the requests are reasonable, we’ll be sure to find a way to accommodate them.”

”Oh no, not at all.”

Dou Xiao replied shyly, ”The teaching conditions here are incredible, and we even get paid. I really love it here, and I love the children, too.”

”That’s good to hear.”

Xu Yun said, ”If you perform well and pass Dean He’s evaluation, you’re more than welcome to teach here full-time after you graduate.

As for compensation, I can personally guarantee that your salary will be just as good, if not better, than what teachers make elsewhere.”

”Really?”

Hearing this, Dou Xiao said happily, ”Thank you, President Xu! We’ll be sure to put our whole hearts into teaching the children.”

”Alright, you two can get back to your work.”

After sending the two on their way, Dean He smiled at Xu Yun. ”Those two are good kids. They’re very patient with the children. I actually had the same idea about hiring them and was planning to talk to you about it. I didn’t expect you to bring it up first.”

”Of course! My Xu Yun is brilliant. He always thinks so far ahead.”

Xino said with a hint of pride, ”Back then, all I knew how to do was donate money. I had no idea how to fundamentally change this place and make it better.”

”Dean, don’t listen to her bragging. I just thought of it on the spot myself.”

Xu Yun looked toward an empty lot next to the institute where construction was underway. ”I heard they’re building the Cloud Primary School next door?”

”That’s right.”

Dean He said, ”According to President Jiang’s plan, we want to provide for the children’s education all in one go, from kindergarten through primary school, and then all the way through the nine years of compulsory education to the end of junior high.”

”She certainly thinks far ahead.”

Xu Yun chuckled. ”Starting a school is no simple matter. It’ll cost a fortune, too.”

”Actually, we’ve thought about that and discussed it.”

Dean He said, ”If the school is only for the children from our institute, the scale won’t be that large, so the cost won’t be as high as you might think.

Most of the funding will come from our own charity organization. As for the land, I’ll go to the civil affairs bureau and speak with the leadership to get government support and purchase it at a low price.

After all, we’re a charitable social welfare institution, so in a way, we’re helping them fulfill part of their mission.”

”That’s easier said than done. Getting land from the government can’t be easy.”

”It’s not easy, but as long as I’m shameless enough and persistent, I can make it happen eventually.”

Dean He chuckled. ”Besides, the land I need isn’t in the city, where every inch is worth a fortune. It’s out here in the inexpensive suburbs.

President Jiang and I have already acquired the land for the primary school next door. It’s under construction now, and I’m following up on the paperwork. The first phase should be completed in about half a year.”

”Alright, I understand.”

Xu Yun grinned. ”So, in other words, all I need to do is provide the money, right?”

”For now, we’ll probably need your support.”

Dean He smiled. ”But President Jiang said that once the Cloud Charity Organization is well-established and has built a reputation, more and more people will know about it. Then, more kind-hearted individuals will donate, and the organization will become self-sufficient.”

Xu Yun just smiled.

’Jiang Peiyao really has her act together.’

Even Xino, listening to all these future plans, couldn’t help but think Jiang Peiyao was incredible.

’Compared to her, I feel so clueless!’

After finishing their tour of the welfare institute, Xu Yun and Xino left.

On the way, Xino suddenly said, ”Xu Yun, Sister Jiang is so amazing. No wonder you like her.”

”What’s this? I thought you couldn’t stand her.”

Xu Yun teased, ”I heard you brought Yan Can to confront her at her doorstep last time. What’s with calling her ’Sister Jiang’ all of a sudden? So chummy.”

”The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Sister Jiang and I are on a united front now.”

Xino pouted. ”This way, when your other women try to bully me, I won’t be without an ally!”

Xu Yun was speechless.

’Good grief, are they already starting to form factions?’

”So, are you going to see Sister Jiang now?”
