Super Rich by Doing as You Please

A fair lady is a worthy pursuit for a gentleman.

And when an idea strikes, you must act on it.

As for whether you succeed or not, that depends entirely on fate and your own abilities!

After chatting with Xu Yun for a while, Big Beard said he was a bit tired and wanted to get some rest, so he let his daughter continue talking with Xu Yun.

In fact, when Xu Yun had first marveled at her beauty, Anar Guli had found him quite handsome as well.

Anar Guli was a little shy at first, but thanks to Xu Yun’s humor and initiative, she gradually relaxed, became less reserved, and started talking more.

After all, they were both young and had plenty of common interests to talk about.

During their conversation, Xu Yun learned that she was a third-year dance major at the Shanghai Theatre Academy and was already quite accustomed to Han Chinese culture and customs.

When Xu Yun asked why she chose the Shanghai Theatre Academy, she said she wanted to be like Reba and Nazha—to leave Xinjiang, become a huge star, and appear on movie screens and billboards everywhere.

She curiously asked Xu Yun in return why he had come on a road trip so far from home.

Xu Yun told her it was for ”poetry and the horizon.”

There are some sights you just have to see with your own eyes while you’re still young.

Besides, if I hadn’t come, how would I have ever met someone as beautiful as you?

Hearing Xu Yun’s words, Anar Guli blushed shyly and lowered her head.

Sweet nothings from a handsome man could always make a girl’s heart race.

Just then, the ever-perceptive Lin Wanzhou suddenly played *The Ordinary Road* from the driver’s cabin, instantly elevating the mood...

As evening fell, the group finally arrived in Jeminay, ready to resupply.

Big Beard and Anar Guli also chose to get off here, planning to find a professional mechanic the next day to go fix their car.

But Xu Yun gave them a ”kind” reminder, ”Based on your description, that road isn’t very safe. If you take your daughter with you, and with her being so beautiful, it could easily attract the wrong kind of attention.”

”Ah Zashi, you have a point.”

After spending a few hours together, Big Beard felt that Xu Yun and Lin Wanzhou were good, trustworthy people. So he pleaded, ”Could you please take Anar Guli back with you first? I’ll go get the car fixed tomorrow and come back on my own.”

”Brother, aren’t you afraid we might be bad guys too?”

”No, you’re good people.”

Xu Yun pretended to hesitate for a moment before replying, ”Alright then, I’ll agree to it.”

”Thank you.”

Big Beard turned to his daughter and said, ”Anar Guli, you go with Mr. Xu and his friend for now. Don’t cause them any trouble on the way. I’ll fix the car tomorrow and hurry back as soon as I can.”

”Okay, Dad.”

And so, after having dinner in town, the father and daughter waved their goodbyes. Big Beard stayed behind in Jeminay, while Xu Yun’s group of three continued on their journey after purchasing the rest of their necessary supplies.

This time, however, it was Xu Yun’s turn to drive for a while so Lin Wanzhou could get some rest.

But Lin Wanzhou didn’t want to sit in the back with Anar Guli, feeling it would be a bit awkward, so he returned to the passenger seat.

He glanced at the woman resting in the back and whispered to Xu Yun, ”You’re not getting ideas about her, are you?”

”Listen to you. You make me sound like a bad guy.”

Xu Yun said, ”I’m just trying to make a friend.”

”Make a friend? Is that why you sent her dad away?”

”Her dad *asked* me to take his daughter home, okay?”

Xu Yun retorted, ”I’m doing a good deed here, don’t you get it?”

...Lin Wanzhou was speechless.

After driving for another three hours, the RV pulled over to stop for the night.

Before they went to sleep, Xu Yun said to Anar Guli, ”There are only two beds in this RV, a big one and a small one. You can take mine. I’ll just make do on the sofa.”

”No, no, that’s alright.”

Anar Guli refused. ”I should sleep on the sofa. I’m already imposing on you. How could I possibly take your bed?”

”No way. You’re our guest. How could we let you sleep on the sofa?”

Standing by, Lin Wanzhou really couldn’t take it anymore.

’This RV clearly has four beds. Did you eat the other two?’

He looked at the two of them and said directly, ”Why don’t you both just sleep on the bed? It’s not that small. If you squeeze a little, it can fit two people.”

Anar Guli was speechless.

Being a young woman, she immediately blushed crimson.

Hearing this, Xu Yun also feigned a bit of embarrassment, but ’inwardly, he was praising Old Lin to the high heavens.’

’Old Lin really came through this time. He deserves a reward!’

He said, ”That’s not very appropriate, is it? Men and women should keep their distance.”

”When you’re traveling, you can’t be so particular.”

Lin Wanzhou said, ”If you’re really concerned, you can just roll up a blanket to make a barrier in the middle of the bed. That way, you won’t touch.

Besides, I’m still in the RV. It’s not like you two would try anything anyway.”

”Hmm, Old Lin, that’s a good idea.”

Xu Yun looked at Anar Guli and asked, ”Do you think that would be okay? If you’re not comfortable with it, I’ll just sleep on the sofa, and we can stop arguing.”

Anar Guli hesitated for a moment, then decided Lin Wanzhou had a point.

’In a place like this, with someone else around, he probably wouldn’t try anything funny.’

’Right, what’s the big deal about sharing a bed!’

’As long as nothing improper happens between us, there’s nothing to be afraid of!’

”I’m okay with it,” Anar Guli said with a nod.

”Alright, then you should take a shower first.”

Xu Yun smiled. ”Old Lin and I will wait outside. Just give us a shout when you’re done, and we’ll come back in.”

”Mhm.”

As Anar Guli watched Xu Yun and Lin Wanzhou leave the RV, she felt a little touched.
