Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Hearing this, Lin Wanzhou asked in surprise, ”We’re not going any further?”

”Nope. We can come back next time. We’ve been out for a month, that’s long enough.”

Xu Yun said, ”After you drop us off at Anar Guli’s place, head to Burqin Kanas International Airport and fly straight home. Pay to have the RV shipped back on a flatbed. Don’t drive it yourself, it’s too tiring.”

”What about you?”

Lin Wanzhou asked curiously, ”You’re not leaving with me?”

”I’m going to stay here for two more days before I head back.”

”Because of that woman from Xinjiang?”

Lin Wanzhou said, ”You’re not thinking of running off with her, are you?”

”Bullshit. I have other business.”

Xu Yun clapped Old Lin on the shoulder and said meaningfully, ”You worked hard on this trip. I was going to give you a sum of money as we agreed, but we’re friends, right? Talking about money is so crass. So, I thought about it and decided to just forget it.”

”Whoa, don’t you dare forget it.”

Lin Wanzhou laughed. ”I don’t mind, and I don’t think it’s crass at all. In fact, you’d better give it to me right now.”

”Tsk, Old Lin, you’re thinking too small.”

Xu Yun just smiled and shook his head, then transferred him 1 million yuan via WeChat!

”Thanks.”

Seeing the payment, which was five times more than they had previously discussed, Lin Wanzhou grinned. ”President Xu, you’re so generous. Now *that’s* thinking big. Next time a sweet deal like this comes up, don’t forget to call me.”

”Deal.”

After settling their business, Lin Wanzhou drove Xu Yun and Anar Guli to Burqin County.

He then turned back toward Kanas, found a large-item logistics company to ship the RV, and went to the airport that very night to fly home.

Anar Guli asked, puzzled, ”Brother Lin... why did he leave by himself?”

”He had to rush back for something.”

Xu Yun smiled. ”You’ll have to take me in tonight. Otherwise, I’ll be left to wander the streets.”

”No problem.”

Anar Guli happily led Xu Yun toward her home.

It was just her and Big Beard at home; her mother had passed away years ago.

So that evening, only she and Xu Yun were in the house.

Compared to the cramped, reserved atmosphere of the RV with Lin Wanzhou around, this environment was far more conducive to creating an ambiguous, intimate mood between the two of them.

After a simple dinner, the two of them washed up and got ready for bed.

They’d been in the car all day and needed to rest early.

Since Xu Yun was staying for two days, she planned to take him to visit the Kanas Scenic Area the next morning.

It was autumn, and this was one of the most beautiful places in the country to see the fall colors.

If Jiuzhaigou was a delicate, reserved beauty, then Kanas was a grand, stately dame.

Anar Guli led him to Big Beard’s bedroom and said, ”Brother Xu, you can sleep here tonight. The sheets and everything are new.

”My room is right next door. If you need anything, just call out for me.”

”Okay, I will.”

「The night passed without incident.」

Over the next two days, Anar Guli took Xu Yun all over the Kanas Scenic Area, and they ate their fill of all the local Xinjiang delicacies.

During this time, Xu Yun also did a good deed.

They had gone to a peculiar restaurant.

It was peculiar because it was just a simple shelter built with plastic sheeting in an open-air plaza, drafty on all four sides.

To be honest, sitting inside during the autumn was actually a bit cold with the wind blowing in.

A married couple showed up here on time every day to sell naan bread.

And the rule here was, if you thought it was good, you paid. How much you paid was completely up to you.

If you didn’t think it was good, you didn’t have to pay.

Xu Yun’s curiosity was piqued. He bought one and took a bite. He didn’t think it was particularly tasty, but many people still came to eat, most of them laborers.

Anar Guli explained, ”It’s basically a charity kitchen. The owner doesn’t make any money at all. In fact, he’s constantly losing money. He does it to help migrant workers who are struggling temporarily and don’t have much money for food.”

”So that’s how it is.”

After finishing his naan bread at the long table, Xu Yun took out his phone, scanned the payment QR code, and only completed the payment after he had walked out the door.

Anar Guli saw him enter 100,000 yuan!

At the same time, the payment notification sound rang out inside the shop, startling everyone.

The husband and wife who owned the place were stunned when they heard the payment notification. They looked around at the customers in the shop, wanting to find and thank this kind-hearted person.

But after scanning the room, no one looked particularly wealthy.

Regardless, with this sudden infusion of 100,000 yuan, their shop could stay open for a while longer.

When Xu Yun saw Anar Guli staring at him in astonishment, he said, ”I’ve always supported people who do good deeds. It’s not a lot of money, but it’s the thought that counts.”

”That 100,000 is a lot!”

Anar Guli laughed. ”I heard that the highest payment this shop had ever received until now was 10,000 yuan.”

”Well, if that’s the case, I guess I accidentally became the top contributor.”

Xu Yun teased, ”Do you think they’ll hang my WeChat name on the wall?”

”Hahaha, I think they will.”

That evening, they returned home.

After showering, the two of them sat on the sofa watching TV with nothing else to do.

Xu Yun was on his phone, chatting with Gao Wenwen.

Gao Wenwen had finally opened her phone today and seen the comment he’d left on her Moments feed the other day.

Flustered and annoyed, she sent him a direct message on WeChat, teasing, ”My dear high school classmate, as if you don’t already know whether my boobs are big or not?”

Xu Yun naturally replied, ”It’s been a long time since I touched them. How would I know if they’ve gotten bigger or smaller?”

”Then why don’t you come and feel for yourself?”

Gao Wenwen laughed. ”I’m waiting for you in Xinjiang, haha.”

”For real? Because I happen to be in Xinjiang right now.”

”Tch, like hell I believe that.”

Gao Wenwen challenged him, ”If you show up at my hotel room door tomorrow morning, this old lady will let you fuck me till you drop!”

”Alright. If you’ve got the guts, send your location.”

”I’ll send it.”

Gao Wenwen actually sent him a location pin.

Xu Yun took one look and saw that her hotel was less than 10 kilometers away from his current location in a straight line.

’Alright, alright, alright. You’re the one who served yourself up on a platter!’

The corners of Xu Yun’s mouth curled up. He planned to charge over there tomorrow morning and give her a big surprise!

’Let’s see what’s harder—your tough talk or my ”gun”!’

The real reason Xu Yun had suddenly decided to stay here for two days was Gao Wenwen.

Based on her location tags on Moments and her travel itinerary from two days ago, he knew she would be coming to the Kanas Scenic Area in two days’ time!

Xu Yun had been planning to meet up with her here and then fly back together.

After all, they hadn’t seen each other in so long. It would be a good chance to have a... deep exchange along the way!

Seeing Xu Yun on his phone, seemingly chatting with someone, Anar Guli asked curiously, ”Brother Xu, are you talking to a friend?”

”Yeah.”

Xu Yun put his phone away and turned to her. ”What’s up?”

”I wanted to ask... are you really planning to leave tomorrow? You won’t stay for a couple more days?”

”Yeah, I’m leaving.”

Xu Yun replied with a smile, ”I’ve eaten my fill, I’ve had my fun, and I’ve bothered you for two days. If I don’t leave soon, you’ll start to get sick of me.”

”I would never.”

Anar Guli said, a little shyly, ”You can stay at our house for as long as you want.”

”No, no. Your dad’s pickup truck is already fixed. He’ll probably be back tomorrow.”

Xu Yun chuckled. ”He wouldn’t be happy if he found out you brought me home and we’ve been here alone, just the two of us, for two days.”

”There’s nothing improper going on between us. I’m not afraid of him.”

”That may be true, but it’s still not a good look.”

Xu Yun glanced at the time and said, ”Alright, it’s getting late. I’m going to bed.”

”Okay, I’m going to sleep too.”

Tonight, the moon cast dancing shadows.

One house, two bedrooms.

Anar Guli tossed and turned, unable to sleep, her eyes fixed on her door, listening for any sound.

For the past two days, she hadn’t locked her bedroom door once!

She didn’t know why.

She kept hoping something might happen, but she would always wait until she fell asleep, and still, there was no sound from the room next door.

Tonight was the last night.

In the next bedroom, Xu Yun wasn’t sleeping either.

He was well aware that Anar Guli hadn’t been locking her door for the past two days, even leaving it slightly ajar.

But he didn’t know if she was genuinely forgetting or doing it on purpose.

So he didn’t dare make a move.

Although the system supported him to Do as You Please, it didn’t support him breaking the law or going against a woman’s will.

Tonight was the last night. Just as he was debating whether or not to test the waters, his own bedroom door was pushed open from the outside.

Then, a woman walked in and hugged him from behind.

Xu Yun: ”Anar Guli?”

”Brother Xu, don’t talk.”

Anar Guli whispered shyly, ”Let’s just pretend we shared a dream tonight, okay?”
