Super Rich by Doing as You Please

’Brother Xu is such a gentleman!’

Outside the RV, Xu Yun and Lin Wanzhou stood side-by-side, wrapped in winter coats.

The nights in Xinjiang are a bit cold!

Lin Wanzhou took out a cigarette, lit it, and took a drag. Then he offered one to Xu Yun, asking, ”Want one?”

”Smoking is bad for you.”

Xu Yun shook his head. ”You should smoke less.”

”Smoking is bad for my body, but it’s good for the country.”

Lin Wanzhou pursed his lips. ”On the surface, I’m smoking a cigarette, but really, I’m smoking for military funding. The country’s aircraft carriers are built one cigarette at a time by smokers like us.”

”...” Xu Yun was speechless.

’Damn, that’s some next-level thinking. It actually made him, a non-smoker, feel a little guilty.’

”How about this, Old Lin.”

Xu Yun said, ”From now on, you smoke an extra pack a day. Consider it smoking on my behalf, a contribution to the country. I’ll pay for the cigarettes.”

”Get lost!”

Lin Wanzhou cursed with a laugh. ”I haven’t even found a wife yet. I’d like to live a couple more years!”

”See, there’s that small-minded thinking again. For the good of the country, you must sacrifice the individual for the greater good!”

”Why don’t you make the sacrifice yourself?”

”Because I haven’t finished spending all my money yet!”

Xu Yun sighed. ”Forget it. Give me one too. It’s fucking cold here at night.”

Lin Wanzhou handed him one and lit it for him.

Xu Yun took a drag and almost choked.

Lin Wanzhou asked, surprised, ”Really your first time smoking?”

”No, I’ve smoked with colleagues before when I was tired from working overtime.”

Xu Yun said, ”But when I smoke, I just do it for fun. The smoke doesn’t go into my lungs. I just swirl it around in my mouth, stain my teeth a little, and blow it out. That’s why I never got addicted.”

”Then you might as well not smoke at all. It’s a waste of a good cigarette.”

”Everyone was smoking back then. If I didn’t smoke, I’d just be breathing in secondhand smoke anyway.”

Xu Yun laughed. ”So I figured I might as well join them and inhale it firsthand.”

”...” Lin Wanzhou was speechless.

’That kind of makes sense. Is this what they call fighting fire with fire?’

Lin Wanzhou glanced back at the RV and said teasingly, ”Didn’t you say you just wanted to be friends with her? Did you befriend her all the way into the same bed?”

”Who says friends can’t sleep in the same bed?”

Xu Yun retorted, ”Haven’t you seen on TV? Those women are always sleeping with their male besties. It’s a purely platonic friendship.”

”You believe in platonic friendships between men and women?”

”I don’t. Whoever believes that is an idiot.”

Xu Yun laughed. ”But as one of the parties involved, I believe in it.”

”...” Lin Wanzhou was speechless.

’I’ve never met someone so shameless, such a hypocrite!’

Soon, Anar Guli finished her shower.

Xu Yun and Lin Wanzhou returned to the RV.

Anar Guli had already changed. Seeing that Xu Yun’s nose was red from the cold, she said guiltily, ”I’m sorry, I made you wait for a long time.”

”Not at all. Girls usually take longer to shower anyway. You were actually pretty fast.”

Xu Yun asked, ”Are you going to sleep on the outside or the inside later?”

”I’m fine with either.”

”I suggest you sleep on the inside, so you don’t accidentally fall off the bed.”

”Okay.”

Anar Guli: ”I’ll get into bed first, then.”

After that, Lin Wanzhou just took off his jacket and got into bed.

Men don’t have a habit of showering every day when they’re out in the wild.

Xu Yun usually didn’t shower in the RV either, at most washing his face and feet, but today he decided to take one.

After a three-minute rinse in the bathroom, he came out wearing only a pair of floral boxer shorts, his upper body bare.

His well-proportioned figure, defined abs, and perfectly toned muscles were on full display for Anar Guli to see.

Anar Guli didn’t dare to look directly. She pretended to cover her eyes with her hands, but was actually peeking through her fingers, thinking to herself.

’What a great body. Those abs are amazing. I really want to touch them.’

’Lin Wanzhou watched Xu Yun’s inexplicable behavior. How could he not know what he was up to? This was a classic case of a peacock fanning its tail!’

’Well, I’ll be. This time he’s not using money, but his persona and good looks to pick up a woman!’

Immediately, he faced a dilemma.

’If something really happens between them tonight, should I leave, or should I stay?’

Meanwhile, Xu Yun dried himself off, pulled a T-shirt back on, and said to Anar Guli, ”I’m about to turn off the light and get into bed.”

”Mm.”

Anar Guli looked at the barrier of blankets she had placed in the middle of the bed and said shyly, ”I’m ready.”

”...” Lin Wanzhou was speechless.

’This conversation between them wasn’t the least bit proper. It was enough to make one’s imagination run wild with a ten-thousand-word fanfic scene of what would happen after the lights went out!’

The lights went out, and the night deepened.

Lin Wanzhou and Xu Yun quickly fell asleep.

Tonight, Xu Yun genuinely had no other intentions.

He simply wanted to use the act of sharing a bed on the very first day to close the distance and build rapport with her.

With this special layer of intimacy established, her psychological defenses against him would subconsciously relax, making her easier for him to win over.

In the darkness, her eyes were wide open, staring unblinkingly at Xu Yun beside her. Her back was pressed against the wall as she tried to maintain as much distance from him as possible.

’She was afraid he would suddenly give in to his primal urges and cross the line.’

’After all, her beauty truly made many men drool!’

But after staring for a long time, she saw no movement from him. Instead, she heard the sound of steady breathing.

’He’s asleep?’

At this, Anar Guli finally breathed a sigh of relief.

’It seems I was overthinking things. Brother Xu really isn’t that kind of person!’

’When he said he would sleep in the same bed with me, he really just meant sleep!’

Once she relaxed, the already-sleepy Anar Guli’s eyelids began to droop, and she soon fell asleep and began to toss and turn.

As Xu Yun slept, he suddenly felt a pair of arms wrap around him from behind.

He froze for a moment. Feeling a soft pressure against his back, he slightly adjusted his body to lie flat, then turned his head to look at Anar Guli, who had already crossed the boundary. He was a little dumbfounded.

’What the hell?’

’I haven’t even made a move, and she’s making one on me?’

’It turns out I’m the prey!’

’Xu Yun felt it was necessary to inform her that he wasn’t that kind of easy man!’

Just as he was about to give her a gentle reminder, she grew even bolder, draping a long, smooth leg over him. Then, her whole body pressed closer, pulling him into a full-body hug.

A faint, distinctly feminine fragrance drifted into his nostrils.

”...” Xu Yun was speechless.

The position was a bit like she was hugging him to sleep as if he were a plush toy.

Although it was dark, at such a close distance, Xu Yun could still vaguely make out her delicate and beautiful face.

Her eyes were tightly shut, and her even breath ghosted across his skin. She didn’t seem to be pretending to be asleep.

The corners of Xu Yun’s mouth curled up slightly.

’Looks like she’s another one of those restless sleepers.’

’Oh, well!’

’I’ll just be her body pillow for a night.’

But as he was dozing off, Xu Yun felt a gentle, mischievous hand slip under his T-shirt and rest on his abs, beginning to stroke them lightly.

While stroking, she even giggled and murmured in her sleep, ”Hee hee, these abs feel so good to touch.”

Xu Yun: ”...”

’Calm down!’

’A man needs to be magnanimous, not sweat the small stuff!’

Across from them, Lin Wanzhou, who had been asleep, was also jolted awake by Anar Guli’s sleep-talking.

He had no idea what was going on and was completely dumbfounded.

’It’s really happening?’

’She’s already started groping his abs!’

’Come on, can you two have some decency? Think about how other people feel!’

’You’re not the only two people here!’

’For him to get up and leave in the dark now was unrealistic. It would only startle them and make things awkward for everyone.’

’It’s better to just keep pretending to be asleep and feign ignorance.’

But forcing himself to listen to their suggestive sounds would undoubtedly be torture.

So, in the end, he took out his noise-canceling headphones, put them on, connected them to the music on his phone, and pulled the covers over his head, forcing himself to block out the noise from outside.

’Tonight, I’ll just let this music lull me to sleep.’
