Super Rich by Doing as You Please

He awoke after a dream-filled night.

She was gone, and the lights in the room had never even been turned on.

Perhaps because Anar Guli was a bit shy, Xu Yun didn’t insist, treating the whole thing as if it were just an erotic dream.

Except this dream had been exceptionally real.

The next morning, Xu Yun got up and found the house empty.

Anar Guli had left him a note.

”Brother Xu, I’ve gone to a friend’s house, so I won’t see you off. Goodbye!”

Xu Yun was speechless.

’Is she too embarrassed to see me after what happened last night?’

’If she doesn’t want to see me, so be it.’

After washing up, Xu Yun sent her a text telling her he had left. He also transferred 100,000 yuan to her.

A reply from Anar Guli came back quickly.

”I’m not with you for your money.”

”I know.”

Xu Yun smiled. ”Just think of it as payment for my stay, and a tour guide fee for showing me around the sights these past two days. I don’t like being indebted to people. If you don’t take it, I’ll be upset.”

”Alright then, thank you Brother Xu.”

Anar Guli replied softly, ”Last night’s dream was wonderful. I’ll remember it.”

”Me too. Goodbye.”

Xu Yun said, ”If you come to Shanghai for school in September, remember to come find me in Jiangcheng first. I’ll show you around for a couple of days, we’ll eat well and drink well, and then I’ll take you to school.”

”Mhm, I’ll think about it.” In the breakfast shop downstairs from her apartment, Anar Guli happily replied to the message while eating breakfast.

”Anar Guli, who are you chatting with? You’re smiling so sweetly.”

The owner, who knew her well, smiled and teased, ”Don’t tell me you’ve fallen in love?”

”No, just a friend.”

”A man?”

”Mhm.”

”Then you definitely have a crush on him.”

The owner was a woman in her thirties. She chuckled, ”I was young once too. I know what a person looks like when they’re in love.”

Anar Guli didn’t answer. She saw Xu Yun walking out from downstairs, carrying a simple shoulder bag.

She wanted to go see him off.

But after what happened last night, she was too shy to even face him.

Just like that, she silently watched as Xu Yun got into a car, drove away, and disappeared from view.

After getting in the car, Xu Yun didn’t go to the airport. Instead, he went to a hotel not far away.

Because Gao Wenwen was there!

Ten minutes later, he arrived at the hotel lobby.

But to find out Gao Wenwen’s exact room number, he would have to ask.

So, at the front desk, he lied and said he was Gao Wenwen’s boyfriend, showed them a photo of the two of them together, and after slipping the clerk a tip, he successfully got the room number.

Taking the elevator, he arrived in front of her hotel room door.

’It’s this early. She probably hasn’t gotten up to go out yet, right?’

Instead of knocking, Xu Yun called Gao Wenwen.

After a moment, the call connected, and a sleepy voice came through. ”Hello, who is this?”

”Your close high school classmate.”

Hearing Xu Yun’s voice, Gao Wenwen’s sleepiness vanished. She sounded pleasantly surprised. ”Why are you calling me so early?”

Xu Yun laughed. ”To wake you up.”

”Wake me up for what?”

Gao Wenwen glanced at her phone. ”It’s just after seven. That’s so early. I want to sleep a little longer.”

”Stop sleeping and come open the door for me.”

”Open what door?”

Gao Wenwen thought Xu Yun was teasing her and laughed. ”What, you didn’t actually find your way to my hotel room door, did you?”

”Yeah, I’m standing right here.”

Xu Yun pretended to be annoyed. ”People walking by are looking at me like I’m an idiot.”

”I don’t believe you! You couldn’t have gotten here this fast even if you took a rocket!”

Gao Wenwen said, ”Besides, I never even told you which room I’m staying in.”

”You don’t believe me? Then let me knock so you can hear.”

As soon as Xu Yun finished speaking, Gao Wenwen heard a knock on her room door.

”Did you hear that?”

Gao Wenwen was speechless.

She couldn’t be bothered with anything else. She rolled out of bed, ran over barefoot, and carefully peeked through the peephole.

One look was all it took. Sure enough, Xu Yun was standing right outside.

He seemed to know she was watching him, because he waved and grinned. ”Aren’t you going to open the door?”

After confirming it was Xu Yun, Gao Wenwen moved the chair from behind the door and immediately opened it. She looked at Xu Yun, her face a mask of delighted surprise. ”You really came? How did you do it?”

”That’s not important right now.”

After Xu Yun entered the room, he locked the door behind him, scooped her up into his arms, and said, ”First, let’s take care of business.”

”What business?”

”You haven’t forgotten what you said last night, have you?”

At Xu Yun’s reminder, Gao Wenwen remembered the nonsense she had been spouting last night, and her face instantly turned beet red. She struggled and said in a panic, ”I was just talking nonsense, put me down.”

”Regretting it now? Too late!”

Xu Yun let out a wicked chuckle, ignoring Gao Wenwen’s half-hearted struggles as he carried her straight to the bed.

Seeing there was no escape, she tried to make an excuse. ”Not during the day, it’s too bright. How about tonight? There’s more of an atmosphere then.”

”I can draw the curtains. It’ll be the same.”

”Then you take a shower first.”

Gao Wenwen said, ”I’ll wait for you out here, I promise I won’t run.”

”Do I look like an idiot to you?”

Gao Wenwen said, ”Then I’ll shower. Let me take a shower first, can I?”

”It’s fine. I don’t mind.”

Xu Yun grinned. ”After we’re finished, I’ll help you wash up.”

”Do we have to do this today?”

Gao Wenwen pouted. ”I already made plans with someone to go to the scenic area today.”

”No.”

Xu Yun said with a serious face, ”A girl has to keep her word.”
