Super Rich by Doing as You Please

When necessary, he wasn’t above using a few tricks.

Qin Xun called his promoter over and asked, ”Do you know those two women over there in booth number three?”

”They don’t look familiar. I don’t think they come here often.”

The promoter said cautiously, ”But I think they might be Zhao Dong’s guests.”

”Go over there and get their contact info for me.”

”Young Master Qin, I don’t think that’s a good idea.”

The promoter hesitated, looking troubled. ”After all, that Young Master Xu just…”

”Young Master Xu? And I’m Young Master Qin! Since we’ve both taken a liking to them, let’s see who comes out on top!”

Young Master Qin sneered, ”It’s just one Ultimate Carnival, isn’t it? You’d think I couldn’t afford one! Go on, get one for me to send over to them too.”

The promoter was left speechless.

He’d only pretended to be troubled. Seeing the two of them start to butt heads, he was inwardly ecstatic! ’This is exactly the effect I wanted. The more worked up they get, the better! After all, every Carnival means a boost to my sales figures, and a bigger commission!’

Just as Su Mu and Li Jinshu were chatting, the bar suddenly went dark again. The giant electronic screen lit up, displaying the three words: ”Young Master Qin.”

Then came the host’s familiar voice.

”Let’s congratulate the holder of VIP card number 6, Young Master Qin, for purchasing an [Ultimate Carnival] for the two lovely ladies upstairs in booth number 3! We hope you have a wonderful time tonight!”

What followed was the exact same routine as before.

Instantly, all eyes in the crowd turned back to Su Mu and Li Jinshu.

Even a fool could see what was happening now. Two rich guys were going at it over the ladies in booth number three!

No one was familiar with Young Master Xu, but the regulars at this bar were all too familiar with this Young Master Qin.

He was rich and powerful—not someone an ordinary person could afford to cross.

Su Mu and Li Jinshu frowned, their gazes turning toward booth number six.

They saw the man from earlier raise his glass to them again, offering a gentlemanly smile.

’His surname is Qin!’

’Which means the Mr. Xu who sent the first round of drinks was someone else entirely!’

Su Mu was starting to feel uneasy.

’Being targeted by two men at the same time is definitely not good news!’

”Jinshu, let’s get out of here. Let’s go home.”

Li Jinshu understood as well. Staying any longer could be dangerous. She nodded. ”Alright, let’s go.”

Nearby, Xu Yun stared at Qin Xun in booth number six, somewhat stunned himself.

’He just wanted to have a little fun with his woman, and now some guy pops out of nowhere trying to steal her from him!’

’How cliché can you get!’

’Even novels don’t dare to use plots like this anymore, or the readers would flame them to death!’

Zhao Dong was also completely dumbfounded by this turn of events.

He immediately got on his walkie-talkie and demanded of Qin Xun’s promoter, ”What the hell is your client doing?”

”Brother Dong, this has nothing to do with me.”

The voice on the other end laughed innocently. ”You know Young Master Qin. He does what he wants. I couldn’t have stopped him.”

”Damn it!” Zhao Dong swore under his breath.

He quickly and quietly made his way back to Xu Yun’s side. ”Brother Xu…”

Xu Yun cut him off. ”That guy over there—you know him?”

”I do.”

Zhao Dong replied, ”His name is Qin Xun. His family is mainly in the entertainment and construction business. He has a bad reputation and likes to throw his weight around and bully people. He’s not someone you want to mess with.

A lot of women and customers here have suffered at his hands.”

”And no one ever puts him in his place?”

”Uh…”

Zhao Dong gave him a meaningful look and said helplessly, ”Boss, how would anyone do that? Unless… you want to give it a try?”

”Fine by me! How dare he make a move on my woman!”

Xu Yun shot back, already walking toward the exit. ”In that case, I’ll go see just how tough he really is!”

Zhao Dong was left speechless.

As it turned out, Su Mu and Li Jinshu had sensed things were turning sour. They had gotten up to leave their booth, but before they could get far, Qin Xun and his men were already following them.

”FUCK!!!”

Zhao Dong’s face fell when he saw this. He immediately ordered a nearby server, ”Quick, go to the office and get the boss!”
