I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2211: 25.101 Lone Black Star - Barrier is Gone

Upon hearing this, the crown prince immediately approved of it, it didn’t take a while before the situation at the split screen showed some changes, the vigilant tree vines from outside the door had started to shrink back to the interior of the surgery room. Once the vines had disappeared, the door which was covered by it had also reappeared and its original functions had returned to normal. Disappearing with it is the barrier around the space territory that the empire owns. Those who were at the command center upon seeing this scene, especially the Grand Duke and the Crown Prince, had hurried to the surgery room.

Inside the surgery room, upon pushing the door open, they were welcomed by the scene of two people unconscious inside. Two people unconscious were the Duchess and the Crown Princess. Comparing the two people’s situation, it can be said that the duchess’s complexion is much better than the pale, white face of the crown princess whose corner of the eyes, his nose and even the corner of his lips were covered in blood. The two men who were the first to enter the door had immediately gone to their respective partners. There were doctors following on their backs and were brought especially just in case something had happened to the two inside.

The Grand Duke went to where the Duchess is. He observed his body and face only to see that he looked much better than he expected. It can be said that his complexion looks much healthier than the crown princess beside them. Even the Crown Prince, Ye Qinya, had noticed that and immediately asked someone to check on them.

”Doctors! Come and check on the Crown Princess and the Duchess!” Ordered the Crown Prince.

The doctors and healers that had come with them immediately came over to surround the two patients and check their situation. The side of the duchess, the doctors were only serious at a moment before they felt relief in their hearts. It seems that Lord Mo Jing’s situation is better than anyone expected.

”Reporting to the Grand Duke, the Duchess is alright. He had no physical injuries whether it’s on the surface or internally. As for his soul domain, there is a powerful aura of life and it’s helping him repair the soul domain itself. The reason the Duchess is not waking up is because his soul was resting. Eventually when the damage in his soul had been completely stabilized he would wake up.” The doctors reported.

The Grand Duke once he heard of his report, the uneasiness in his heart had lessened and carefully hugged the sleeping Duchess in his arms. Then he looked at his son in the crown prince’s arms and waited for the result of diagnosis.

Unlike the relief that came from the situation of the Duchess, the doctors checking on the Crown Princess were even more nervous. Their faces turned white in fear as they found out that something was wrong with Lord Ye Caoyun. When the Crown Prince, Ye Qinya and the Grand Duke, Lord Ye Jie, had seen this reaction, they felt their hearts sink in desperation and worry.

The Crown Prince’s face turned dark and gloomy. ”Speak! What is wrong with the Crown Princess?!”

”Answering to his highness! Please hurry and put the Crown Princess inside the medicine pod. This is the most important thing to do right now!”

Upon hearing this, the Crown Prince had carried away his paired guide and immediately placed him inside a medicine pod with high-grade healing potions that can heal even a dying man. However, inside something unexpected had happened. The crown princess had suddenly coughed blood which made everyone who was watching outside, especially the Crown Prince, panicked.

”What the hell is happening!? Explain it to this prince!” Prince Ye Qinya asked as he turned his head to look at the doctors who are now kneeling on the ground.

”Answering to the crown prince! The crown princess’s body is currently on the verge of breakdown. His internal organs were about to start failing one after another and his mental energy was depleted.”

”His natural healing capabilities are not working properly which affects his physical body. The Medicine Pods would restore his body to its most optimal state.”

”But he can only stay inside until the natural healing capabilities of the body have been restored. That would only happen if his mental energy reserves had been replenished.”

The doctors explained to the Crown Prince and the Grand Duke. Their expressions didn’t look good as they knew that the reason Ye Caoyun’s mental energy was depleted was all to save his dad, the Duchess.

The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya, asked, ”Is there something else wrong with the body of my crown princess?”

”Answering to his highness, no aftereffects were found in the princess’s body but... we don’t know about his soul domain. The Crown Princess is a high-level guide and his mental barriers equate his mental energy. Before he fainted he seems to have left most of his mental energy to protect his soul domain. No one weaker than him can enter through that barrier.”

”But your highness, it’s possible for you. You are the crown princess’s fated pair. The resonance of your souls should be the strongest. If you can wake him up and let his soul reconnect with his body then he will also wake up in reality. He would be able to replenish his mental energy through meditation for faster healing.”

”However, there is also danger... his soul might not recognize you due to the extent of his injuries.”

The explanation of the doctors made everyone relieved and at the same time nervous. As the commander of the fleet, the Crown Prince cannot become someone unavailable as the enemies watching outside would not turn blind eyes to their situation. Even though everyone knows about this, no one had spoken up to stop the crown prince from making his choice. After all, this is the crown princess, the person despite being a guide works harder than ordinary soldiers. He would cure anyone from ordinary bruises to fatal injuries and even a berserk state caused by high mental contaminations.

He is the saint that had barely rested because he was worried that even taking a short rest would result in the death of one of the soldiers. He is the only guide doctor in the hospital area that didn’t even take a short rest and only lasted because his mental strength is stronger than the other guides. Some of the healer guides had fainted a couple of times and were only able to return to work after taking a good rest and then once again falling unconscious. This had lasted for more than once and it had almost become a cycle in this place that the doctors split their groups for morning and evening separately. Regardless of this schedule, only the Crown Princess was awake almost 24/7 and only stopped when eating.

The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya, didn’t answer right away and instead looked at his Imperial Uncle who only nodded towards him. Looking especially willing to support him if something had truly happened.

”Imperial Uncle, I will come back as soon as possible,” said Ye Qinya, the Crown Prince.

The Grand Duke, Lord Ye Jie said, ”Bring Yun’er back safely. Both of you.”

”I will, Imperial Uncle,” said the Crown Prince.

After learning that the Crown Prince plans to save the Crown Princess, the Grand Duke temporarily took the overall command of the headquarters once again. Even though everyone was worried of what might happen to the crown prince when he entered the soul domain of the crown princess, right now everyone wishes for the crown princess, Ye Caoyun, to be alright.

The Grand Duke, Lord Ye Jie, looked at his son. The foster one who was willing to end up in such a state that he can hardly wake up just to save his wife whose soul domain was badly wounded. He knew that the ability to cure soul domains is special. Only the strongest guides who had full control over their mental energy were capable of doing so. In the history of their royal clan, he had learned that even the First Empress didn’t have the ability to cure soul domains. After all, the main element of his quantum beast was yin and it was never meant to be useful when healing something. So the First Empress invented potions to cure it. But it didn’t have the effect of complete healing like what Ye Caoyun is capable of.

The royal family believes that it was all thanks to the quantum beast, Ye Caoyun had awakened with. The World Tree which is also known as the tree of life. Maybe it was thanks to this ability that had connections to life instead that he was capable of healing with natural effects. Only the Crown Prince knew that this is only possible because of the wood element that was under the control of Ye Caoyun when he was still a High God from the Upper realm. This ability had followed after him even when he got reincarnated in this world as a mortal after dying as a god. This is the real reason why the Crown Princess healing ability is unparalleled. As a god that controls the wood element which is full of life, he can control life itself.
