I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2193: 25.83 Lone Black Star - Zerg Prince

The news of the crown prince coming to the frontline had spread and everyone was happy about it. It can be said that within the empire, the strength of the Crown Prince had always been above the Grand Duke and after the Grand Duke had returned to the empire, it was Crown Prince Ye Qinya who had taken over his position as the Great General and commander of the Empire’s military. He had been the one protecting the empire from outside threats like Space pirates, hostile foreign races, ets. He had been doing this ever since he had become an adult and is also the reason why his mental contamination was the highest in the empire that everyone almost thought that he could die or become crazy anytime.

Because he was so powerful that all the guides that underwent a bonding pair with him had all failed. Not even one had been tested to be able to pair with him even, the lowest minimum percentage of compatibility had not been reached at all. At first everyone thought that there might be someone out there within the empire that might have compatibility with their crown prince, but even after the royal family had reached out towards the remote stars and even the federation and found no such compatibility that everyone had realized one thing.

An extremely powerful sentinel without a guide is no different from a time bomb.

This is the reason the noble faction was able to force the royal family to allow the noble bloodline to gain the same name as the royal family despite not being in the same bloodline. The second, and third princes were royal family members only in name. They either have the distant bloodline from the Empress or someone from a wealthy faction from the noble side. They were never real royal family members and only in name. The real power of this family name will only be useful once the crown prince is no longer eligible to be called as the heir to the throne. Only then will the second and the third prince have a chance to inherit the throne.

However, even before the crown prince lost himself, the second prince was the first among the princes to have completely transformed into a beast. A hundred percent mental contamination would lead to this kind of ending. Thus, leaving only the crown prince who was a time bomb himself and the popular third prince Ye Di. If Ye Qinya hadn’t met Ye Caoyun, then his ending would be worse than the second prince and the third prince, Ye Di would have inherited the throne. The Third Prince’s wish was destined to fail as not only Ye Caoyun had awakened as the crown prince’s fated guide but also met the First Emperor, Lord Ye Xiajie, who had taught him how to fully control his mental energy and contain his mental contamination completely. With Ye Caoyun healing him, his high mental contamination had been completely purified and his chances of losing control are now gone.

Making the crown prince the most suitable heir to the throne. Because he is of the royal blood and a powerful sentinel himself. Almost everyone in the empire is loved and respected. Now he is even the hope of the empire to defeat the Zerg Race who was waging war against them once again. It is almost impossible to move him from his position as the next emperor unless he dies, which is impossible. After all, there are two ancestors watching over the crown prince and crown princess.

While everyone was cheering with the good news, something bad had befell in their area. The zerg race had a surprise attack on the headquarters and the siren had been ringing in the whole area they were in. As soon as the siren rang all over the place, the soldiers immediately made a move and prepared for another long battle. Those who were at the hospital were once again terrified and even the duchess who had just closed his eyes to rest was almost awakened but was stopped when Ye Caoyun had isolated the whole hospital area with his barrier. This barrier was not only for protection from the outside but also isolation to protect all the patients.

The expression on the crown princess had turned serious as he can feel that familiar eerie mental energy that had injured him before. He had immediately run towards the window and his expression turned gloomier as more time passed.

Ye Caoyun mumbles, ”It’s here.”

”Your highness, is there something wrong?” A doctor asked.

Ye Caoyun responded, ”Yet dad rested for at least three hours in the medicine pod before waking him up. I will need to prepare to head to the frontlines this time.”

”You can’t, crown princess!” Another doctor stopped him.

However, this time the crown princess didn’t listen to their words. After all, the enemy is completely different this time.

”I cannot stay in this area. The one that is coming is the Zerg Prince that attacked me before. Its target is me. Staying here will place you and the patients in danger. I need to find my father!”

Once the crown princess, Ye Caoyun, had said these words, the doctor immediately understood how serious the situation is right now. They had learned from their director, the duchess about what happened when the crown princess had fallen into a short slumber before. He was attacked by a high grade zerg and it was most likely a royal grade one which made it even more dangerous. It’s a kind of zerg which could easily destroy a small planet however it wished like how it had destroyed the small remote resource planet from before.

So when they had heard the explanation of the Crown Princess, they knew that him leaving this area was for their safety. All the doctors and wounded soldiers in the area understood his meaning and no one stopped him from leaving anymore. The other doctor guides approached the crown princess and said,

”Crown princess! Go, leave the patients to us!”

”We will definitely heal them!”

”You’ve taught us everything you can!”

”This time it’s our side who will support you from the rear.”

”Please be careful, your highness!”

”Let the blessing of our ancestors be with you!”

Everyone prayed for the crown princess as they saw him off. They saw the crown princess heading to the main spaceship where the Grand Duke and the main fighters had gathered. On the screen the appearance of the huge mutated zerg with the human body but an ant face appeared approaching. Their faces had all turned serious and dark. The one that appeared this time is no ordinary insect colony that they can easily defend against. It’s a royal-grade zerg whose physical capability and mental strength are all top-notch.

With a grim expression on the grand duke’s face, ”He had finally come over. Faster than we had anticipated!” Lord Ye Jie said.

The other leaders in the same areas had the same serious expression. This is a royal-grade zerg and something capable of harming the crown princess before he had fully awakened his current strength as a 5S-grade guide. When his mutated zerg attacked Ye Caoyun on that remote resource planet, the crown princess mental strength was only 3S-grade which made him lost against this zerg but that accident helped the crown princess which is a blessing within the disaster. Well, the only reason it didn’t become a real disaster is simple. The God of Destruction had arrived on time which prevented Ye Caoyun from being overwhelmed by his own strength.

”This size and this presence...”

”This is definitely a royal grade zerg!”

”No wonder even the crown princess who hasn’t fully awakened was injured by him.”

”No, look carefully. Its wings... It hasn’t fully grown. This might be a royal-grade but it’s not a king and queen grade.”

”You mean it’s a recently evolved royal grade zerg? A Zerg Prince?”

”Most likely and we cannot let it evolve further.”

The Grand Duke said, ”A Zerg Prince’s potential is at most 4S-grade. If he was able to harm my son before, he must be at this level now. If he becomes a 5S-grade potential in this war, then it might evolve into a Zerg King. This one must die here no matter what!”

”Yes, General!!” The soldiers all responded.

All of the sudden, the door connected to this room had opened and a soldier came over to report, ”General, the Crown Princess is seeking an audience. He had left the hospital area. He said there is something important he needs to report.”

The Grand Duke and the other leaders in the room frowned the moment they heard that the crown princess had come. After all, they had told him multiple times he cannot be allowed in the frontlines alone without his paired sentinel.

”Let him in,” Lord Ye Jie said.

With the permission from the grand duke, the soldier came back to the door and escorted the crown princess inside. Ye Caoyun stood before his father and the other leaders within the room. After greeting them politely he didn’t waste time and told him why he had come here.

”Father, the reason I came here is simple. That thing... That Zerg Prince had most likely come to this area because of me. Its main target is me and not the battlefield.”
