I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2203: 25.93 Lone Black Star - Letter to the Crown Prince

Silence envelopes the whole council hall. The fact that the Ancient Gods might be involved was something they couldn’t handle on their own. These ancient gods are tougher than the others. Their physical bodies can grow large, huge enough that their hands can grab worlds and stars like toys. Their bodies were almost immortal and it was even harder than a star itself. The higher their level is the more it is hard to wound them.

Celestial Gods like them would barely be enough to fight against this kind of existence. Even an Immortal God would need more than strength and cultivation to wound it. Only a Sovereign God can fight against it and they had to work together. It would be a different story if it was a god as powerful as the God of Destruction whose dao law was to ruin and eliminate something. His power was merely for execution and killing.

The Reincarnation God, Cao Xinsheng said, ”Confronting an Ancient God is not a good idea for us. Only our masters can handle it.”

”But if they are truly the ones sneaking into the lower realm worlds to destroy the planet and steal the soul of the star, what should be done?” Lord God An Liang asked.

The God of Space, Hei Jue said, ”According to Jing’er, Lower realm worlds cannot be easily destroyed by an upper realm existence. This is one of the Cosmic Laws. If they openly used their original power, the cosmos would call for the guardian. Which means summoning the God of Destruction to destroy these rule breakers.”

”So you mean they will not directly attack a planet but control something from within to slowly destroy a planet?” Lord God Cao Xinsheng asked.

Hei Jue nods his head. ”Even guardians had to follow the rules of the cosmos though there are some exceptions among them who can break through anything through sheer powers alone. The cosmos had nothing to worry about that kind of troublemaker, after all he is working for the cosmos as a guardian itself. Even if an ancient god gets involved in a world to destroy it from within, the process is slow. Moreover, we can get involved in it.”

”By sending world hoppers to prevent the world from being destroyed. But this time we need people who will not be easily seduced by power. I will send some wardens to work on it. Wardens who had personally made an oath to serve the Masters of the Nether System. The kind that will never betray our side,” said Lord God An Liang.

Demon War God Yao Xiewu asked, ”How are you sure they will not betray you?”

”Wardens aren’t sinners. They are individuals trained by us, by the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness and... by my cousin, Xiao Jing’er. Meeting my cousin and being taught by him, do you dare to betray him?” Hei Jue said.

His words meant that the wardens knew the extent of the God of Destruction’s power and offending him is no different from death. At least when the enemy caught you, the possibility of escaping still had a single digit percentage. It’s different for the God of Destruction. Once you offend him and get caught, dying would be more than a wish and living will be worse than hell. Those who knew the real personality of Lord Hei Anjing would love to offend the ancient gods instead of the God of Destruction.

The Reincarnation God, Cao Xinsheng and the Demon War Lord Yao Xiewu didn’t have anything to say in response. They knew too well how hard it was to offend someone with Mo Bloodline. They will hunt you until you get captured, and being captured is worse than dying in their hands. This silence is simply a silent agreement that the God of destruction was not someone you can offend.

Lord Cao Xinsheng said, ”Then there is no one to send down from our side except some acquaintances that had an interaction with the God of Destruction and survived. They would definitely be more than willing to lend a hand for Lord Hei Anjing’s sake.”

”That can be done. We can only slow down the destruction of the world but try to prevent it for now. Stopping it completely is impossible at the moment,” said Lord God An Liang. ”We will also try to reach out for those who had gone to the Sea of Chaos.”

”It would be better if we can contact Lord Mo Baojun.” Hei Jue said. ”But if we truly lack a helping hand then asking the family clans should be possible. I can ask for the Hei and Mo clan if you are truly lacking human resources. However, if they truly got involved, everyone in Vearth must be informed. At that time, it was no longer just our problem alone but the whole Upper realm world.”

Cao Xinsheng said, ”Don’t worry. We can still prevent things from getting worse.”

”I will try contacting Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie a few more times. Let’s hope that we will be able to make a connection,” said Lord God An Liang.

Back to the world where the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness are...

The Crown Prince and his troops are now traversing the space heading to the main battlefield. They were taking their time until an emergency report from the frontlines had been received by them. It was something the Grand Duke had sent to Ye Qinya with his highest priority possible so he can receive it on tim.

”Your highness! A message from the cosmos battlefield had been received. It was from the Grand Duke, Lord Ye Jie himself!”

”Bring it over!” The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya said.

The message was instantly forwarded to the crown prince and Ye Qinya read it right away. His serious expression turned dark the more he read the content of the letter. It was informed to him that the Zerg Prince from the last resource planet they had come from had appeared at the frontlines. According to the Grand Duke, this zerg is targeting the Crown Princess, Ye Caoyun’s mental energy for evolution that’s why it suddenly appeared. It must have sensed that the Crown Princess was in this place.

A sudden surge of aura exploded within the spaceship but instantly disappeared as if preventing the destruction of everything around him. It made the soldiers tremble and stumble under the pressure that comes with that aura. They had either fallen into their knees, with pale faces and panting or standing while trembling, barely able to stand on their own without anything to support them from standing.

It took a few hours before a soldier approached the crown prince and asked, ”Y-Your highness. What happened?”

”The front lines are under attack. It was that Zerg from the Resource Planet we had escaped from the last time. We need to arrive at the Cosmos Battlefield as soon as possible. Cut the time at the shortest possible duration to arrive at the frontlines!” Ye Qinya commanded.

The soldiers upon calming down realized that their destination was currently in need of reinforcement. A lot of them had seen that mutated zerg. Their superiors say that the mutated zerg is most likely a royal grade one. It wasn’t even an ordinary mutated insect race anymore as it possessed strength, mental energy and intelligence that can match a human being. They heard it speak their intergalactic common language after all.

In the thoughts of the Crown Prince, ’Targeting my guide, you are seeking death!’ Murderous intently flashing within his eyes he fell in his deep thoughts trying to hold back the anger in his heart.

Cosmos Battlefield

Front lines, the human sentinels and the mutated zergs were still fighting. The former defends their territory in space while the latter only follows the command of its master without thinking much. A command from a royal-grade zerg was like a royal edict. Something one can never decline unless you want to die.

The sentinels had been fighting against it from a certain distance. This is to prevent them from coming closer to the territory of the humans in this outer space. However, they were running out of range weapons if they kept this up and things would be even more dangerous if this continued.

”Commander, attacking from the distance is causing us too much of our range weapons. If this continues it will be all used up and there will be nothing we can use to attack from a distance.”

”These zergs had started using their fallen comrades as meat shields!”

The current commander frowned, ”Someone from the other side had realized we wanted to keep them at a distance. Their attacks will be fiercer now than the first few waves.”

”Direct confrontation against the mutated zergs cannot be avoided. Ask the Crown Princess if he had finished teaching the guides how to sense the energy of the zergs in stealth?” The Lieutenant asked.

It was at this moment that Ye Caoyun had returned from the next room followed by the guide soldiers who were taught by him how to sense bugs that know how to hide their presence.

The crown princess said, ”I am done. They should be able to sense it, but one must protect them first. They need to concentrate before entering the state that will allow them to sense it naturally.”

”That’s good! Issue an order. We are directly confronting them but not the Zerg Prince. Avoid the Zerg Prince at all cause. He can use mental energy at a certain range. Guides keep an eye on the changes especially on the Zerg Prince!” The commander said.

The soldiers all saluted and collectively answered, ”Yes, Sir!”
