I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2175: 25.65 Lone Black Star - Summons from the Palace

After an overall check up on the Crown Prince, Ye Qinya was made the adults were surprised to see the result. The result was as expected, there was nothing wrong with the crown prince and instead his overall strength from his physique to his mental energy, down to his soul everything else was alright and above normal. Take his original SSS-grade physique from before. It had been promoted and raised to 5S-grade, which can be considered a divine physique in this world. His mental energy, which used to be S-grade, has now been promoted to SSS-grade mental energy. What made it strong, this level of mental energy when it was awakened on a guide is a good thing. But for Sentinels who couldn’t fully control their mental energy, this level is just a burden to it, thankfully the body or the vessel is stronger compared to the mind or soul.

However, this kind of result for the aborigines of this world is simply heavenly defying. After all, only gods possessed such power and it was nothing a mortal like them could have. But no one expected that the crown prince who had become an amnesiac would suddenly transform into someone who possessed the vessel of a god and high grade mental energy.

”5S grade?! This is a divine physique!”

”A God’s vessel?! How can such a thing exist in this haven like this!?”

”How is this possible? This level of strength is equal to that of a god.”

The Imperial Empress, the duke and the duchess were all staring at the result of the diagnosis on the Crown Prince’s current body. Not only did his fragmented soul domain have been half fixed with the help of the growing seed in his domain of soul, it can even patch up problems with the soul itself. Moreover, with the awakening of the real memories of Ye Qinya, everything had been flipped over. Everything the Imperial Family believes to be true, has now become something that must be done.

Even though no one from the Imperial family had asked the pair, Ye Caoyun and Ye Qinya what had happened, the fact that thanks to this sudden promotion of this level was something that never happened before had completely changed the power balance within the empire. Right now, except for the two ancestors, the strongest pair in the empire is now the crown prince and his bound pair, Ye Caoyun. This result was reported to the palace leaving even the current emperor dumbfounded.

The sudden increase of overall power of the crown prince had left the Imperial Emperor dumbfounded. But only this emperor had guessed correctly how this change was made. The two ancestors of the royal family, the First Emperor and the First Empress. With the involvement of this couple, this change was acceptable to everyone else. After all, in the eyes of everyone in the Royal Family, Lord Mo Anjing and Lord Ye Xiajie had no ordinary existences. So the sudden shift of power within the royal family has happened, seems now to be normal. Moreover the reports had stated that before the change in the crown prince had happened the last person he was with was the First Emperor. There is also the fact that a mysterious handwritten letter was sent to the emperor’s throne which can only be read by the current emperor and no one else.

On the same day while Ye Caoyun and Ye Qinya was admitted in the hospital and how the duke, duchess and the Imperial Empress had gathered in the same place, a letter had suddenly appeared in thin air while the Imperial Emperor and the Ministers were having a meeting about how to resolve the sudden surge of appearance of the Insect race. The letter had appeared in thin air above the throne and slowly fell from the sky and slowly to the hand of Emperor Ye Wang himself. The scene was unexpectedly amazing yet eerie at the same time. It was only when the Imperial Emperor had noticed the sender’s name after reading the letter that he immediately understood where the letter had come from.

The content of the letter says,

{The hidden latent power in the crown prince had been awakened by this seat. However, some side effects were left behind like the obvious lack in emotions and expressions. However, this is something that can easily be solved by the crown prince’s guide, Ye Caoyun, so do not worry about his change. If you want to fight the Insect race, there is no need to overthink much and just send the Crown Prince out. His current strength is enough to defend the empire with just him and his paired guide.}

At the end of the letter, is the one who signed it as the sender. There are only two words in it that signifies who had sent the letter, First Emperor. That is all it says yet was immediately understood by the Royal family. After reading the letter the Imperial Emperor immediately summoned his son, the crown prince and his pair partner to the palace.

For Ye Caoyun, this opportunity to enter the palace is quite rare. He had been wanting to enter the imperial palace after he had learned from the crown prince about the forbidden area in the Imperial Royal Library. As for why an outsider of the Royal Clan like Ye Caoyun learned about the forbidden area in the Royal Library is simple, the First Empress had told him about this forbidden area and the fact that it was a part connected to the cosmic library had made him extremely interested. So when the Imperial Emperor had summoned both the crown prince and Ye Caoyun to the palace the next day, no one in the family was surprised.

—

After the sun had risen and illuminated the morning sky, the crown prince, Ye Qinya and Ye Caoyun, first thing in the morning had been summoned by the Imperial Emperor Ye Wang in the Imperial Palace with the current ministers. The ministers and the emperor were already at the throne hall waiting for the crown prince and his future consort to arrive.

”I heard that the Crown Prince had changed?”

”What changed? There is more to it. He has advanced to 5S in physique alone!”

”5S-grade!? Didn’t they say that only those considered divine possessed such physique.”

”Is the crown prince still a human?”

”At this point, the crown prince can already be called a Demigod!”

”I am more worried about his paired guide. Can he even bear the crown prince’s overbearing current power?”

”That’s what you are wrong about. I heard that the child is the adopted son of the Duke and the Duchess.”

”Not only that! This child’s mental energy upon awakening was SSSSS+-grade! Only he can handle the crown prince.”

”Moreover, this child is the chosen successor of the First Empress. He cannot be looked down upon!”

”His Highness, the Crown Prince, and Young Lord of Ye Clan had arrived!”

While the ministers were gossiping among themselves, the eunuch at the entrance had suddenly announced the arrival of the main subject for today’s morning court meeting. The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya and his paired guide, Young Lord Ye Caoyun. The young pair had entered the throne hall after the announcement and walked towards the throne where the Imperial Emperor was seated. The two saluted before the emperor but they were required not to kneel. After all, in the eyes of the emperor these two are his family.

”Erchen greets Imperial Father!”

”Ye Caoyun greets the Imperial Emperor!”

The Imperial Emperor, Ye Wang smiled at the pair. He finally noticed what his empress had told him before. The huge change in the crown prince was now witnessed by the imperial emperor. He immediately noticed the change in his own son. It wasn’t simply his strength that had changed. His demeanor and his aura, everything else in the crown prince had changed.

’This demeanor, this aura, this presence... Why is it a bit similar to someone? Right, a little bit of the cold indifference the First Emperor had when I first met him!’ These are the thoughts of the Imperial Emperor, Ye Wang upon seeing his son after his huge change.

The Crown Prince raised his head and looked at his Imperial Father, the emperor almost flinched when he met his son’s expressionless face and icy indifference even when facing him.

’It’s no wonder that my empress had been crying all night. This changed... Is too obvious. The feeling of meeting someone not seeing you as someone that is not equal or even somehow disdainful was only experienced by me when I first met the First Emperor and the First Empress. No feelings. The same feeling towards his own son, the Imperial Emperor suddenly had a realization of something.’ This is the thoughts of Ye Wang upon seeing the Crown prince. When he met Ye Caoyun, he had also felt the same thing coming from him though unlike his son’s demeanor, he is more restrained and hidden.

’This is...!’

Now the emperor thought of the same thing he had realized just from observing his son and now this adopted son of his own younger brother. Ye Wang recognized the same feeling of indifference and isolation from this young pair.

The thoughts of the emperor, ’Have they become gods!?’
