I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2202: 25.92 Lone Black Star - Beginning of Chaos

At the Space Battlefield, inside the command center of the empire. Faced with a problem of whether, the sentinels who are currently questioning their lives at this moment, had collective questions in their minds about their paired guides. Have they restricted them too much? Are they that overprotective? We’re they restraining their talents? No one had actually given them a direct answer, but the strongest guide of their current generation was the one who had asked them this question. Thinking about it, it seems that his words were like knives stabbing their hearts leaving the entire command center silent.

On the other hand, at the planet where the ancient gods had now gathered, most aborigines of this world had been suppressed and more than half had been killed. The original residents of this world were no longer the masters of this place as it was taken over by the Ancient Gods and their master, the one they called Ancient Empress. This is also the one who had captured the Ancient God of Chaos Lord Hunluan, the Ancient God of Origin Qiyuan, the Ancient God of End Jiewei and the World Eater, Lord An Shizhe.

Under the order of the Ancient Empress, the ancient gods started attacking the lower realm worlds and stealing the planet’s soul to enhance their power. It was unknown why these ancient gods are willing to follow her, but it was due to them that the whole Diamond Cosmos had fallen into chaos. In Vearth, the registered world hoppers were reported either missing or dead. Some had even betrayed the God System and joined the side who are destroying the stars. Eventually, this problem had reached Vearth and the Lord Gods of the two systems had to start an emergency meeting.

—

In Vearth, at the God’s Council Hall...

The two Lord Gods that control the two systems had met. The Celestial God of Reincarnation, Lord Cao Xinsheng, who is also the disciple of the current Sovereign God of Life and Death, Lord Mo Baojun and his husband, the Sovereign God of Light and Creation. He is currently represented as the Lord God of the God System. This current Celestial God of Reincarnation is the very person in the God System who was famous for not being able to get a vacation ever since he was chosen as the Lord God of the God System. He is the most workaholic god in Vearth.

He looks like a gentle god with scholarly air on him. His features were not as refined as the noble gods like Lord Hei Anjing. But he is also handsome in a way which gives someone a relaxing and refreshing feeling. He seems like an ordinary celestial god in Vearth, but as a god that is taught by the Sovereign God of Life and Death, Lord Mo Baojun, this God of Reincarnation would never be a simple god. This Celestial God of Fate is also among the gods in Vearth who can correctly gauge the temper of the God of Destruction and come out alive after offending the latter. With how infamous the personality of the God of Destruction is, he is known as one of the existence people should avoid offending. For him to come back alive, this shows how competent this Reincarnation God is.

Behind him is his close friend who was helping him handle things in the God System and a well-known executor who ranked second after the God of Destruction. He is a Demon War God named Yao Xiewu. Behind them were other celestial gods that support the God System. They were here to handle the reports that accumulated with regards to the current topic for this meeting, the source of chaos that they are now experiencing.

On the opposite side was Lord God An Liang. He is the husband of the Celestial God of Space, Lord Hei Jue, who sat beside him as representatives from the Nether System. Behind them were the newly joined wardens, Pei Jin and Ouroboros in their warden uniforms. As for the Chief Warden Lou Wuye and Warden Yun Ming, they are currently at the River of Chaos training to gain control over the energy of the cosmos through Chaos Energy itself. What made it worse, because the System Yue and System Yang were in the River of Chaos, there was no way for them to contact the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness.

They had also tried contacting the Sovereigns of the God System but for some reason, System Yue and System Yang had no response. Due to the situation of repeated reports about missing and deaths of world hoppers and without the presence of the high authorities that these two Lord Gods had no other choice but to work together.

Lord God An Liang spoke, ”A pleasure to meet you. Let’s start a short introduction before proceeding with the meeting. My name is An Liang and I handle the Nether Prison as well as the Nether System in place of the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness. Beside me is my wife, Hei Jue, the God of Space.”

”Nice meeting you two as well. My name is Cao Xinsheng, the current lord god of the God system. This is my friend, Yao Xiewu.”

”Well, let’s begin the meeting. We had tallied the number of missing world hoppers who had lost contact with the God System. Some systems had returned injured or dead, a small part of them had gone missing with their host. Most of the missing systems were those sinners from the Nether Prison who were working to reduce their sentence,” Cao Xinsheng said.

Everyone in the hall had frowned when they heard about this. This meant that most of those who had disappeared had most likely betrayed the system and someone was helping them remove the contract that was placed on them. Most sinners from the Nether Prison, if their sentence is light they can play the role of a system to reduce their imprisonment time. However, these systems were asked to sign a life and death agreement even leaving a strand of their soul in the Nether system.

With a dark expression on his face, Lord An Liang said, ”There are no changes in the Book of Soul Records. Someone must have helped them hide their presence so that even the Book of Soul Records cannot sense them anymore.”

”Is there a way to block the control of the Book of Soul Records?” The Demon War God, Yao Xiewu asked.

Hei Jue’s eyes turned cold as he thought of something, ”There is only one way. The one who controls this record is the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness. If someone is capable of removing the control this man had placed on those sinners, it meant that the enemy possessed at least the same level of strength as Ye Xiajie.”

Hiss~

”Same level of power as the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness? That’s a bit beyond us. Lord Ye is a Sovereign God and not an ordinary one. If the enemy possessed the same level of strength then... This situation is not something we can handle alone,” said Cao Xinsheng.

The Celestial God of Reincarnation suddenly grumbles, ”I wonder if it’s too late to resign right now.”

”Please don’t look at me like that. An enemy like that is also beyond me. Even if we four worked together it might not be enough. Why are these things happening right now? Don’t tell me it had something to do with the Ancient Gods?” Lord God An Liang said.

The moment he had mentioned about the Ancient Gods, everyone else in the meeting hall had turned silent as they all stared at Lord An Liang. The involvement of the Ancient Gods was something they didn’t know or expect. After all, for the other gods in Vearth, these Ancient Gods’ existences were like high-level NPC. They were powerful to rule but didn’t have authority within Vearth. They are respected but feared more. To the Gods of the upper realm, the Ancient Gods are like living relics that can either cause destruction or prosperity. Except for the God of Destruction, even Sovereign Gods were respectful towards these Ancient Gods.

The Reincarnation God, Cao Xinsheng asked, ”What do you mean that the Ancient Gods might be involved. Was there something we must know?”

The God of Space, Hei Jue nodded his head and said, ”The Ancient Star, someone had bombed it. All Ancient Gods in Vearth had disappeared.”

”And the God of Destruction’s reaction?” Cao Xinsheng asked.

The God of Space and the Lord God of the Nether System didn’t answer right away. As they knew why the Celestial God of Reincarnation is asking this question. In the end, they still answered honestly after all these people are now their allies and hiding the fact that there is a mastermind trying to control the Ancient God was something they couldn’t investigate on their own.

Hei Jue answered, ”My cousin smiled beautifully~.”

Once Cao Xinsheng heard his answer, his face immediately turned ugly. This is the answer he didn’t want to hear the most among all the possibilities. The God of Destruction smiling means chaos for the whole cosmos. This means he is extremely angry.

Sigh~

”How about we resign collectively?” The Reincarnation God asked. It sounds like a joke but for him it’s his dream he wanted to achieve the most at this moment.
