I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2178: 25.68 Lone Black Star - Handling Things

Surrounded with broken shelves, torn and burned books, as well as the fragmented flooring with dust flying around the area, the Crown Prince, Ye Qinya and his paired guide, Ye Caoyun, were looking around the destruction caused by the fight they had just ended and the corpse of the mutated zerg laying on the ground not too far from them. Seeing the extent of the destruction, the Imperial Royal Library was completely gone.

Ye Caoyun lightly nudged the man beside him, ”Is there a possibility of us repairing this place to its original state?”

”Reparing it is not impossible. But that meant we cannot hide it from the Imperial Father,” said Ye Qinya, as he looked around trying to calculate how much funds are needed to repair such an historical place.

His own father might skin him alive if he learned what happened to their family’s library. The only thing that made him feel relieved is that the forbidden area’s door was properly protected by the caretaker and it was unharmed during the battle. Seeing the slightly cowering back of Ye Qinya from the situation of the library, he felt bad and pats his back gently with a coaxing tone.

Ye Caoyun suggested, ”How about asking my dad and your mother for help. Let’s not tell our fathers first.”

Ye Qinya thought that this idea was good and was about to tell their mother and little dad that they had forgotten that the whole place was isolated from reality. Moreover, it wasn’t the real Royal Library but simply a mirror world made of ice to keep things completely similar to the original layout they remember.

Just as the two were about to make the call, they heard the voice of one of their masters, which is the God of Destruction.

”Don’t panic, little ones~. This is just a mirror world made from ice. It’s not completely the reality you know.”

The two turned around and saw the two masters they had just met in the forbidden area of the royal library. One born with a beauty beyond this world’s measure with an almost eternal mischievous smile in his sleep. However, even though he looks approachable and playful, there is a feeling of hidden danger behind that smile and the mirth at the depths of those cold eyes.

The other master is completely different from the smiling one. His existence emits the aura of danger itself. Cold, elegant, a presence so overwhelming that even by standing would cause others not to speak a word. He also possessed refined features that won’t lose to the beauty of the first master. His attractiveness can be called a handsome man with an expressionless yet authoritative face. Definitely an expressionless man who has a frozen heart that nothing in this world can move it.

Snap~

The crown prince and his fated guide looked at their surroundings that is slowly changing from a ruined library to a black world with broken pieces of ice that was shaped to recreate the layout of the royal library. The God of Destruction only needs to snap his fingers once to change the space they were in into something that is beyond mortal means.

In this black and white world, only their group of four and the corpse of the mutated zerg is in line with the reality Ye Qinya and Ye Caoyun believe as their world.

”This is... Domain?”

Ye Qinya and Ye Caoyun said at the same time and were surprised that both of them knew this world and realized that their fated pair was actually an existence that knew about domains of the gods.

”You...!?”

Seeing their disciples about to grab one another to question each other, the God of Destruction just felt entertained. With a smile, he crossed his arms and leaned on his shoulder as if waiting to watch the fun. His other half looked at him and stretched a hand to wrap around his wife’s back and held his waist for a closer distance. One looked lazy yet entertained and the other looked expressionless yet satisfied.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness spoke, ”Do not fight. There is no need to hide your real identities now.”

”True~ it’s not like you two won’t know your identities in the future anyways~. Well, one is a divinity from another cosmos and the other is reincarnated highgod from Vearth. There isn’t much difference with your identities and you both most likely have the same realm. Anyway, before worrying about your identities, you should clean up this world first.” The God of Destruction said. ”Anyway we will only get involved if something beyond your power has appeared. Just consider this as a gift. With it you can learn a lot of things~.”

Ye Qinya asked, ”Master...?” He calls upon seeing his Cosmic Ruler staring at him.

Ye Xiajie said, ”Handle the corpse and the bugs. Work together with your lover.”

”You too, Xiao Yun~” said Hei Anjing.

The reaction of their masters was lukewarm even after exposing their identities without their consent. But they cannot even complain, they are their masters since they cannot do anything against them, they can only follow their instructions.

”Yes, Masters!”

After that they can only watch as their master made a crack in the space and walked passed through it and left them. The moment their masters leave, the ice domain they were in had also disappeared. The two of them and the corpse of the mutated zerg had come back with them in reality. The next moment, they were once again back to the original royal library with an extra corpse with them.

Ye Qinya and Ye Caoyun couldn’t help but look at the corpse of the ugly bug not far from them.

”What should we do? Report it to your father or my father?” Ye Caoyun asked.

Sigh~

”Those two must be together so one report should be enough,” said Ye Qinya.

As a crown prince, most people in the palace would listen to his command. They would listen to Ye Caoyun if he commands them as well, technically, he is also a prince because his foster father is Duke Ye Jing. Ye Qinya held his temples and summoned a death guard under his command.

”First...” The moment this word came out of the crown prince’s mouth, a man appeared out of nowhere kneeling behind Ye Qinya.

”Your orders, Master.” The death guard called first.

Ye Qinya said, ”Report to the Imperial Father and Imperial Uncle about this corpse. Just tell them the corpse we don’t dare to move because of the poison explosion after it was moved.”

”Yes, Master!”

The death guard disappeared after receiving his orders. A few minutes later, the emperor, the duke and the group of professors who studied this kind of thing had arrived in the royal library. With a serious expression Emperor Ye Wang and Duke Ye Jing had approached their children and checked on them. Seeing the traces of wounds and battle on their clothes they knew that things aren’t so simple.

The imperial emperor looked at the professional behind them and said, ”Handle the corpse properly. It mustn’t stay here or it must be exposed to the public.”

”Yes, your majesty!”

The duke looked at the two children and said, ”You two. Leave with us.”

”Yes, Father (Imperial Uncle)!” Ye Qinya and Ye Caoyun responded together.

They had to leave with their fathers and the royal library was closed the whole day, even the corridors leading to this location were locked down as well. As for Ye Qinya and Ye Caoyun, they were summoned to the king’s chambers. Sitting with the Imperial Emperor and the duke, the two children remained silent. They can see how stressed out their fathers are. After all, one is an emperor that rules the empire and the other is the duke that usually protects the frontlines.

The crown prince, Ye Qinya and the young master, Ye Caoyun were both avoiding their father’s gaze. Maybe because they were considered fated pairs that they trusted one another more than other people and stuck together on the wide sofa they are now seated together. Feeling the tension and stillness within the atmosphere of the room, the two choose to stay quiet. For situation such a this one, the first one to speak would end up with the worse ending.

”Alright. Asking permission to enter the forbidden area of the Royal Library then coming out with a corpse of something that looks like from the insect race. Tell me, who have you met inside the forbidden area in the library?” The Imperial Duke asked.

His face was so serious that it made Ye Qinya and Ye Caoyun start thinking whether to confess without a lie. But they were beaten into it, they actually did not need to tell them everything as these adults had most likely guessed everything that had happened in the library.

”You two met the ancestors inside the forbidden area of the royal academy,” said the Imperial Emperor. ”This is impossible. Without my royal decree, the caretaker will not allow anyone to enter the forbidden area.”
