I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2157: 25.47 Lone Black Star - A Pool of Concoction

The Imperial Emperor, Ye Wang, after using the concoction his brother had given to him, felt even more refreshed than when his wife was helping him purify his mental contamination. He had experienced a lot in life and on the battlefield leaving himself a body with countless hidden injuries. Years of schemings had exposed his body to all kinds of poison and maybe because he is a powerful sentinel himself, these accumulated poisons didn’t take his life at all, yet it left a lasting effect on him. Like pricking pain every change of season, unexpectedly heavy feeling in his body and more.

But with just use of the Marrow Cleansing Concoction, all these ailments had all disappeared. It was as if none of his suffering from all these years had never even existed in his life. That’s how the magical effect of the Marrow Cleansing Concoction is on the Imperial Emperor. The effect of the concoction on the Imperial Empress is also quite great. Her physique had been upgraded and her hidden injuries from giving birth to the crown prince were also healed. Now her fertility has most likely been restored as well which is great as the two of them can try having another child. Once that was done, they can officially remove the authority and name for those who were named royal family despite not truly being a royal blood.

The Imperial Emperor, the Imperial Empress and the duke were also surprised when they compared the recipe the duke had gotten from his son and a recipe from the cook book the Impress had found from her clan looking exactly the same. The most surprised of them all was the duke. He truly didn’t expect his son’s master to have something to do with the Pill Recipe Book from their ancestors. It was unknown which ancestor was teaching Ye Caoyun and the adults had no intention of investigating further about this discovery. After all, these ancestors’ existences are important to their empire and if one of them were gone then it would be them who would lose their backing.

The Imperial Emperor, Ye Wang said to his brother, ”Brother, your son is no ordinary person. His original family is stupid for severing ties with him.”

”If they are not stupid, or if my wife didn’t like Yun’er as much we might not have him by our side. That child was also cold towards me at the beginning,” said the Duke, Lord Ye Jie.

The Imperial Emperor pats his brother’s shoulder and says, ”That’s normal. He was abused at home and then kicked out. He was bullied in school and finally fought back one day only to wait when he would be expelled. Your wife has picked a treasure!”

”Yun’er’s compatibility with Qin’er is the greatest. They are fated mates. I hope our boy would be able to court Yun’er properly,” said the Imperial Empress.

The Duke said, ”It should be fine. According to my investigation it seems that it was Qin’er who had saved Yun’er the last time he was bullied and brought him over to the clinic. It’s just that my boy doesn’t seem to know about it.”

”Let my stupid brat worry about chasing his own wife. Let’s talk about the jade token your son gave you, does it truly work?” asked the Imperial Emperor, Ye Wang.

Lord Ye Jie, the Duke nodded his head and said, ”I’ve tested. 30 tokens were used and they all learned the technique that stabilized their soul and mental energy. Like before they can learn it yet not teach it to others. Every jade can be reused 100 times, more than that and it would turn to dust. I still have 20 jade tokens here. Brother, use it on your royal guards. But my son said they require you to make a vow with the heavens not to share it with anyone before using it. That way even if they were hypnotized they won’t speak a word.”

”Your son is truly through. Alright I promise you they would make a vow first before learning anything,” The emperor, Ye Wang promised. ”With this jade token, more of the soldiers would suffer less from mental contamination and full transformation.”

”But this technique only halts the progression, it is not the cure we all need,” Ye Jie, the lord duke said.

The Imperial Empress said, ”No need to hurry. Now that the ancestors are back, we should be able to find the cure.”

”I’ll summon back Qin’er and ask him what is happening in the academy, especially the lessons that involve the ancestors,” Emperor Ye Wang said.

Duke Ye Jie responded, ”Then I will go back to the military. Lately, frequent attacks from the Insect race have been happening around our Star System. I need to send someone to investigate what is happening and to prevent another space war with this race.”

”It would be better if they can be exterminated for good this time. But this race had countless nests, it was unknown whether there would be someone beyond our star system. The last time the insect race had attacked, you and Qin’er had worked the most. This time I hope we can train more soldiers before something happens again,” said Emperor Ye Wang.

—

In the afternoon, the students of the royal class were suddenly asked to wear a thin bathrobe and were told to gather in the school’s pool. There, their teachers, Mo Anjing, Ye Xiajie and the Crown Prince, even the Principal, had all gathered. Even the teachers who didn’t have classes were told to come as well. When they arrived at the pool they saw the other teachers being instructed by their Teacher Mo Anjing how to handle the herbs and the process of which herb will be put in the heated pool first and what follows after. Ye Xiajie was overlooking the temperature of the water and he would adjust it accordingly.

The students were all stunned when they saw the whole pool covered in herbs and the scent of mixed greens lingers in the area. They wanted to escape but the principal had closed the door that led to the exit of the pool area. Moreover most of the teachers who joined the fun were retired injured sentinels yet compared to immature young adults they are still overly powerful compared to these students.

”T-Teachers, P-Principal, what... what is this?” A brave student asked.

Another student peered at the pool seeing the fumes coming from it and learned that it’s no different from boiling water.

The student asked, ”Are you going to cook us?!”

The playful God of Destruction smiled and asked, ”Do you want to be stewed or braised?”

Then everyone noticed that the herb full water in the pool had glowed and turned murky emerald in color. Upon seeing this, the God of Destruction had clapped his hands one and excitedly said,

”Alright! The concoction is ready. Don’t forget the breathing technique I taught you before, you will need to meditate while inside the pool,” said Teacher Mo Anjing.

The moment they heard the playful voice of their Teacher Mo Anjing, the students all realized that he was joking when he told them they wanted to cook them. Upon hearing this, the guide students were pushed into the pool crashing in as a group, the sentinel students were vigilant and only a few unsuspecting ones fell into the pool.

AAAHHH~

This is the scream of the students who were pushed into the pool of Marrow Cleansing Concoction.

While the sentinel students looked at one another before shouting, ”RUN!”

They even split up in all directions just trying to escape. Those who were near Teacher Ye Xiajie failed to escape. Their back collars were grabbed and were thrown into the pool like throwing a recently cleaned chicken to boiling water. He was calm and his actions were controlled.

The Crown Prince who was watching the scene commanded the other teachers, ”Catch them all and throw them into the pool!”

”Yes, Your Highness!”

Now with the adult sentinels acting like adult eagles they chased after the running chicks, baby sentinels around the area. Once they were caught they were all thrown into the pool with no mercy. As for why they didn’t escape once they were in the pool, the energy in it prevented them from doing so, as the effects of the herbal bath immediately took effect as soon as they entered the pool. The chase didn’t even take an hour before all of the students were caught and they were all now meditating within the pool.

Teacher Ye Xiajie looked at the crown prince and other teachers surrounding the pool. Only Ye Caoyun was spared as the God of Destruction had noticed that he had already done this body tempering.

He said, ”You guys can join as well, including the principal. This concoction had healing effects as well.”

”Teachers, what about me? What should I do?” Ye Caoyun asked.

The God of Destruction pointed at the spirit gathering array he laid out at the corner of the room and said, ”Meditate in that corner. The cleansing ceremony for the other students has begun.”

Just a few moments later, after entering the pool of herbs, the pain that comes with the process of cleansing all impurities in one’s body is extremely painful. So the screams that echoes in the place had resigned even to the outside of the pool area.
