I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2166: 25.56 Lone Black Star - Black Dragon

At the Imperial Royal Academy. Within one of the Training Grounds.

The huge black dragon which is also the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness’s Quantum Beasts had appeared after being summoned. Its sudden arrival had caused chaos in the whole empire which was instantly subdued by the mental barrier that blocked the dragon’s aura until it shrunk its presence to that of a normal triple S-grade sentinel’s quantum beast.

Only after the black dragon had shrunk to that of a size of a normal python and leaned on its master’s shoulders did everything in place return to normal. Sensing this from the other classroom, the God of Destruction had taken back the mental barrier around the academy which isolated the aura of Roi.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness wasn’t at all affected, this black dragon was after all his quantum beast in short the mirror of soul. Its original size equates to its original strength. Thankfully, the quantum beast is made up of mental energy and unless they solidified itself it wouldn’t cause destruction in the training room. After all, Roi’s original size was equal to the size of a regular planet. Within the empire not everyone had seen the shape of a black dragon suddenly appearing, but everyone from the royal palace had seen it and recognized it.

Who with the bloodline of royalty will not recognize the quantum beast of their family line? The Dragon Quantum beasts, this is the original and purest bloodline of the royal family can awaken. But after generation this bloodline had been mixed with too many weaker bloodlines and almost diluted it. Due to this, the current royal family only had flood dragons as their quantum beast and not a real dragon like what had just appeared just now.

Imperial Palace. Throne Hall.

The chaos among the ministers was now happening within the throne hall. Each of them were requesting an audience with the Imperial Emperor, Ye Wang. The ministers who had arrived were those who had witnessed the appearance of the black dragon’s descent and were now all terrified by the fact that an ancestor of the royal family still exists to this era.

Those who were scheming to take over the throne, who had plotted against the royal family were now like ants in a heated pan. Their hearts were racing and their minds were about to go crazy. They were all afraid that once that ancestor returned all of their lives would be uprooted down to the very roots of their clans. Now they are all begging the Imperial Emperor for an audience wanting to beg for mercy.

”Your majesty! This minister seeks for an audience. Please give this subject some of your time!”

”Please forgive all our sins! Your Majesty, I don’t want to die!”

”Wuwu~ please don’t uproot our families!”

”We beg the throne. Please give us another chance!”

With almost all of the ministers gathering outside the throne hall, his majesty refuses to see them at all. Inside the throne hall, there is the tired king seated on his throne. Inside the hall was the duke, Lord Ye Jie, another royal family member and the loyal ministers who had never betrayed the crown. They were the first ones to arrive in the palace to seek audience with his majesty after feeling that familiar aura of the Dragon’s majestic presence and it was even more powerful than the current royal family. A presence that was only recorded as legend in the history of the empire.

The ministers who didn’t know about the fact that the ancestors had returned were all bewildered by that sudden appearance of the black dragon. After all, that is definitely something only the royal family possessed. A Dragon type quantum beast was exclusive for the royal family and it was due to his fact that they were considered the strongest within the empire.

”Your majesty, what is happening?”

”Who owned that black dragon!?”

”That was a real dragon with horns, claws and scales that glimmered under the sunlight! A true dragon!”

”A Black Ancient Dragon. That is only written in the legends of our empire. If I remember it right, only the First Emperor possessed a black dragon as a quantum beast. The latter generation of the royal blood only awakened a Lesser dragon, a Jiao (Small dragon) or a Qilin!”

”Your majesty, is there something you haven’t told us old men?”

With the loyal ministers twice his age looking at him with curious, and excited looks, Emperor Ye Wang didn’t know how to explain things. He glanced at his young brother who only shrugged his shoulders as if it had nothing to do with him and finally received a glare from him.

”Brother, at this point, there is no use hiding it from them. The ancestors didn’t even care about hiding it anyway. I heard from Yun’er that in today’s class for the sentinel students, he planned to teach how to control full transformation. That’s just why he had summoned his quantum beast.” Duke Ye Jie said.

He didn’t hold back calling the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness as his ancestor. After all, at least in this world thanks to the antics of the heavenly laws, the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness are indeed written on the world database as ancestors of the royal family.

Upon hearing his brother’s words, the current emperor pinched his temples as his throbbing head made it hard for him to retort. Now that the ancestors had openly shown their existence to the world there is no need to keep hiding their existence as secrets. Even if everyone forgot how the First Emperor and the First Empress looked, no one in the empire would forget that the Imperial Family’s quantum beasts were all dragon types.

”Alright. I will go with you to meet the ancestors tomorrow. We must prepare things properly. There is no need to openly expose who they are. Secretly meeting them is enough. Command the academy not to spread the information about the ancestors. Let others investigate it themselves but no one is allowed to spread whatever they discover or I will issue a royal decree to punish them!” The Imperial Emperor, Ye Wang, declared.

Everyone in the hall saluted, the old minister fell on one knee and the duke slightly lowered his head. They collectively responded,

”As his majesty wills!”

Meanwhile, the old ministers who had heard the conversation between the two royalty can almost hear their heart beats pumping from within their chest. It seems that their ancestors were still alive. It’s just that they didn’t know which ancestors were still alive in this era.

The Emperor lifted his hand and said, ”Be at ease. You may stand.”

After standing, the old ministers all stare at the Imperial emperor with glowing round eyes as if waiting for the emperor to tell them what they can know about. Seeing his loyal ministers acting like children despite being within the age of a hundred made Emperor Ye Wang sighed once more.

Sigh~

”The ancestors who are still alive until now. Can’t you old brats think for yourselves! Who among the ancestors possessed a black dragon as his quantum beast? Which of them was recorded without a death record and instead had suddenly disappeared one day. There is only one couple among the ancestors who had that record!” Emperor Ye Wang said.

The old ministers fell in deep thoughts collectively and suddenly they all remembered one person who fits the bill.

”Black Dragon as a quantum beast.”

”No death record.”

”Disappeared in history?”

”Is that the First Emperor, Ye Xiajie!?”

”He had truly become an immortal!!!”

—

On the other hand, while the Imperial Palace is in chaos, the situation in the Imperial Royal Academy isn’t that much better. A lot of students who were affected by the aura of Roi, some of them had fainted and suffered a bit of damage to their souls. Upon hearing about this, all of these students and teachers who were affected were gathered in one location by the whole academy. This was also reported to the Crown Prince, Ye Qinya.

Principal Hei Cang was anxious seeing injured students and teachers being brought in together in a big hall which barely fits them all.

”Master, what should we do? There are too many people who were injured by the appearance of the ancestor’s quantum beast!”

”We can only beg the only person who can heal them. I will go meet the First Empress!” The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya, said.

But before he could even leave the fall, someone at the entrance had arrived. It was the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness together with everyone in the Royal Class.

Teacher Mo Anjing said, ”No need to call for me. I am here. I will help with resolving the problem my sentinel has caused.”

”Um. It wasn’t on purpose. Roi was too excited and forgot to hold back,” said Teacher Ye Xiajie as he flicked the pretending to sleep small black dragon on his shoulders.
