I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2177: 25.67 Lone Black Star - Destruction of the Royal Library

The God of Destruction painted a humanoid version of the Zerg Race. As a god who oversees the overall Diamond Cosmos as its guardian, looking through the small planet where the insect race had nested is easy for him. So the painting of the insect race he had given to the crown prince and reincarnated god was one of the true samples of the face of an evolved alien from the insect race.

”Master, this thing looks more like a demonic being?” said Ye Caoyun as he stared at the painting of his master.

Hei Anjing responded while leaning on his lover’s body, lazy and boneless, ”What is there to be surprised about? Beings that aren’t human and were able to cultivate were all considered demon races. Insect race is not that different from beasts.”

The crown prince and the reincarnated god accepted the words of the God of Destruction as this is something not that surprising to know about. Not especially when one is a former Highgod from the Upper realm, Vearth and not from a cultivator from another cosmos. The two just rolled the painting and kept it hidden in their storage devices. Meanwhile, the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness, Ye Caoyun and the God of Destruction himself were staring at the actions made by Ye Caoyun.

Ye Caoyun said, ”Master, can we share your painting of the insect race in the family I came from?”

”Do as you will. Those things are your mission in this world anyway. It would be better if you two can get along instead of acting,” said Ye Xiajie, narrowed his eyes dangerously at the pair before.

Hei Anjing was enjoying his melon seed as he watched whatever was unfolding before their eyes. As the youngest generation from the duke family suddenly turned his head to look above them. The first one to notice that something strange was the God of Destruction himself. He suddenly looked in the direction where the strange feeling was coming from. Hei Anjing chuckles as he watches the preparation happening away from this empire.

”Good~. The two of you should train properly. The first wave of zergs is not something you can avoid. It seems that your mission is coming to find you two as expected. If you don’t get along, the world itself would try to kill you no matter what,” said the God of Destruction.

The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya and Ye Caoyun looked at one another then averted their eyes avoiding such close contact. Though they do not get along like how they did before, at the very least they weren’t the kind to deny the fate that was given to them.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness said, ”Since you got what you are supposed to receive, you two should continue your work. Working differently when only facing the scouts from the other faction was not something they should get involved in.”

”You two get along quite too well. Either way, the hints had all been given to you. As for whether you can survive once the main fleet of the insect race has arrived, that depends on the actions you will make in the future. Ye Qinya, I had awakened you ahead of time only because you should handle the changes in this world,” said Ye Xiajie, the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness.

The God of Destruction said, ”Since you got what you wanted, go back to where you came from.” He looked so sleepy as if he was about to fall asleep anytime now. ”Alrigh. Go out for now. Come back and find us if there is something else you can’t handle.”

”Also handle the bug outside~”

Hei Anjing just snapped his fingers and the next moment the space around them slowly distorted and the young pair were thrown out of the forbidden area even before they could react. When they collectively opened their eyes, they were back to the outside of the forbidden area only for a few books to fall on both of them.

Thud. Thud. Thud.

”Why do I feel that the masters are seeing us as an eyesore for bothering them during their time together?” Murmured the Crown Prince.

Ye Caoyun looked at the books that had fallen on them just now and the state of destruction of the library they were in before. He suddenly turned serious as he felt some presence isolating the royal library from reality.

”I think we are trapped in this place,” said the reincarnated god from the upper realm.

Ye Qinya, the Crown Prince, said while smiling with a smile that didn’t even reach his eyes. ”Don’t worry. We will be able to get out soon.”

Shrieks~

”Not good! Someone had isolated this area! Is it because of this insect? Why does it look so ugly?” Ye Caoyun complained.

The Crown Prince who had longed to pull out his weapon said, ”It is not the problem of it being ugly or not. Why the hell did it appear in the royal library?” mumbles Ye Qinya.

Silence descended in the area for a moment and then the two of them thought of one same thing. Ye Qinya and Ye Caoyun believe that this zerg was intentionally brought here by their two masters. There are various reasons why they believe that it was the doing of their master. However, the fact that the two of them were being targeted was no longer a problem of the Crown Prince alone.

Ye Qinya said, ”Stay here. It will be done soon.”

”Though I do not mind not fighting for now but... you should remember, this place is the royal library,” Ye Caoyun said as he reminded the crown prince. ”If we fight and this place is broken, then your royal library will be done for.”

Thinking of this fact, the Crown Prince fell into deep thoughts.

”For now how about not killing it first then talking to it later sounds? I can still bear the repair cost of the library,” said Ye Qinya.

Shrieks~

An ugly monster with the upper body of a fly and a lower body of a human flew towards the two of them. Seeing it get closer, the crown prince couldn’t control himself and kicked the ugly monster on its chest, making it turn a few times in the air before flying far, hitting a few bookshelves in the process.

With a frown, Ye Caoyun looks so disgusted by the ugly monster.

”Is this still a zerg? Why does it look like a result of a bad experiment?” The reincarnated highgod said.

The Crown Prince asked, ”Have you accidentally killed it?” If so, then why is the place not letting them out.

Thinking of the ugly thing that was trying to attack them, the space distortion and isolation finally the people who had thrown them exactly at this location, then the last sentence the God of Destruction had told them. So it was this failed experimentation of the Zerg race suddenly appearing in the royal library was something arranged for them to handle.

At the Shadow realm, the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness were watching the young men fight for their lives.

Ye Xiajie said, ”You’ve even grabbed the ugliest bug from its nest?”

”How could you blame me!? I’ve randomly grabbed one through space rips and threw it here for their practice,” said Hei Anjing. ”Well, it shouldn’t be a problem. They should be able to survive.”

”Baby, don’t you know how unsure you sound just now?” whispered the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness as he lightly bit the ears of his wife.

The God of Destruction said, ”If they are truly dying then I will throw you in there as well. Hmp~”

”Alright. I will not tease you anymore. I will handle the clean up. Let’s watch them first,” said Ye Xiajie.

Back to the situation of the two children...

The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya and his guide, Ye Caoyun were fighting together against this ugly zerg that appeared in this royal library as soon as they were kicked out of the Forbidden Area by the elders watching over that area. The library was now in ruins and the ugly thing was already half dead with the two of them fighting together against it. Ye Caoyun used mental energy to prevent the Crown prince from getting harmed by mental attacks.

”Is it finally dead?” The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya asked.

Ye Caoyun responded, ”Should be. But just in case, we should prepare for the worst.” He said while looking around the destroyed Royal library which was also the result caused by their fighting.

The two of them looked around, seeing the scattered books either torn, melted and covered with something unidentified, broken bookshelves and craters on both the walls and floor. For the first time, the crown prince and Ye Caoyun didn’t know what they should do next and how to confess to the Imperial Emperor that they had accidentally destroyed his Royal Library.

”What should we do now?” The collective thoughts of Ye Caoyun and Ye Qinya while looking around them.
