I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2160: 25.50 Lone Black Star - Heartbeat

This question from the God of Destruction had caught the Crown Prince, Ye Qinya and Ye Caoyun surprised. The former showed a proud yet vigilant look while the latter seemed to be confused about something. After all, this young man is a reincarnated soul and he didn’t know much about pairing. The former who hasn’t awakened his previous life memories were devastated when he failed his awakening at the said time and stopped caring about information about sentinels and guides due to despair. Ordinary people didn’t have much interaction with the private lives of a sentinel and a guide. After all, they will not suffer from mental contamination and will not have to worry about going insane once you overused your mental energy. For this reason, Ye Caoyun’s knowledge about sentinels and guides were limited to what you can read from the Star Network or what he can learn from the books.

The Crown prince asked, ”How did you know?” The sudden shift in the mood of Ye Qinya had startled even Ye Caoyun by his side.

Ye Caoyun didn’t expect that the Crown Prince would react this much just because someone asked if they are a fated pair. He couldn’t help but turn his head to look at Ye Qinya with a bewildered expression on his face as if he did not understand where his anger was coming from.

The Crown Prince sighed and instantly his anger had calmed down under Ye Caoyun’s gaze.

Sigh~

”Yun’er, did you not study anything about the bonds between a sentinel and a guide?” Ye Qinya asked worriedly.

Ye Caoyun honestly shook his head and said, ”No. After failing to awaken once my family had thrown me out of the clan and disowned me. After that, I’ve been living a life worse than that of an ordinary person. That’s why I don’t know much about this situation.”

Upon hearing the response from Ye Caoyun, the Crown Prince had just remembered what kind of life Ye Caoyun had been living before he was adopted by his Imperial Uncle’s family. Abandoned and disowned by his family, being bullied at school for failing to awaken and being a scholarship student without backing. How would he have time to read information about things that are supposed to have nothing to do with him after he had failed to awaken?

Ye Qinya felt that he shouldn’t have asked that question just now.

”Forgive me. This is my mistake. I will explain everything you want to know later.” The Crown Prince apologized.

Though Ye Caoyun understood the logic why the crown prince was apologizing to him and realized how much this man had overthought things, he didn’t have the desire to explain things about his side. After all, in his eyes, Ye Qinya is just a mortal and as a god he is supposed to be magnanimous towards those who are weaker than him. He had forgotten that his divine energy was sealed because his body is still that of a mortal, at his current state, the Crown Prince is definitely stronger than he is.

”It’s alright. I am used to it,” said Ye Caoyun.

The Crown Prince wanted to explain things more to Ye Caoyun as he recalled that the couple in front of them seems to have known that they are a fated pair. This is a fact that no one except for the royal family knows about the crown prince finally finding his bond pair and it was even the highest level of pairing compatibility.

Ye Qinya asked, ”How did you know that we are a fated pair?”

”Is that even a question? He and I are a fated pair as well. How come we wouldn’t feel another pair whose souls resonance too closely. Moreover...” The God of Destruction got closer to the crown prince with a playful smile as if seeing something that cannot be easily seen by one’s naked eyes.

”You have something that was rightfully his~,” Teacher Mo Anjing said while smiling at the younger pair.

Ye Caoyun and Ye Qinya were both confused by what they had just heard. But before they could ask for more, the God of Destruction was carried away and pulled away by the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness for getting too close to the two students. Like always he had been easy to get jealous towards people that got too close to his other half even though it was his lover who got closer to the other people.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness while carrying his lover in his arms said, ”Alright. Enough talking. Let’s not forget to eat even as you talk.”

”Hm~ Are you jealous, my love~?” The God of Destruction said teasingly.

Ye Xiajie had never denied his love and jealousy in his heart whenever his beloved was involved and honesty responded with hesitation.

”I do. After all, all of your attention is only supposed to be mine. There is no need to get too close to others. Also, you should eat now,” said the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness.

Hearing the shameless adult couple in front of them the young couple was dumbfounded at first and finally blushed under the shameless antics of the two teachers before them. The Crown Prince was so sure that if not for the student, Ye Caoyun, in front of them, this shameless couple would not care about him and would at least kiss regardless of the reaction from the crowd.

The Crown Prince had finally calmed down and his guess in the heart remained silent. He thought that maybe because the couple in front of him are most likely his ancestors that they might know how to see through the God of Destruction’s words.

Ye Xiajie noticed the expression on the crown prince and thought that he was still thinking how his beloved knew that they are a fated pair as he had mentioned.

He said, ”It’s not that hard for us to know that the two of you are a fated pair. After all, we can see the red thread that connects the two of you together. Once you reach the same level as us, you can see things that others cannot see and feel what others cannot feel. This level of strength is not impossible for you to reach.”

Ye Caoyun who was just listening all along suddenly voiced a question. He looked at the God of Destruction who was happily being fed by his lover and asked,

”Teacher Mo, what do you mean he had something that is mine?”

A mischievous smile appeared at the corner of the God of Destruction’s lips and said, ”You also know what it is but had forgotten about it. I will not tell you. You should check on it yourself~”

He said while languidly pointing at the crown prince. This gesture was saying that ’If you want to know, you should check on it yourself. After all, the man is just right beside you.’. Seeing this the Crown Prince met the innocent yet determined eyes of Ye Caoyun. Seeing Ye Caoyun staring at him as if watching his prey, Ye Qinya swallowed nervously, obviously shy yet expecting. Seeing these reactions from the two young men, the God of Destruction seems to be smiling again as if watching a lovecon which made it interesting in his eyes.

After the atmosphere between the people inside the room has eased, they’ve started eating as they talk calmly. Well mostly only the Crown Prince and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness were talking and the topic was about future lessons of the Royal Class. As for the other two who were with them, they were so busy eating that they couldn’t get involved in the conversation of the other two men. The meal was paid by the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness, as adults they couldn’t allow the two children to pay for their meals.

Mo Anjing said, ”This meal is on us. You two children should go ahead and go home to rest. Tomorrow’s lesson would be more tiring than the usual ones~.”

”You shouldn’t overworked yourself. Tomorrow, I will be teaching you how to control your transformation,” said Ye Xiajie as they took their leave leaving the Crown Prince and Ye Caoyun silent yet respectful. This is especially true for Ye Caoyun after all, he had just sensed Divine Energy coming from that couple. In short, they are most likely the Gods in this world.

After seeing the two teachers left, the Crown Prince and Ye Caoyun looked at one another. This time the first one to speak was, unexpectedly, Ye Caoyun.

Ye Caoyun said, ”Cousin, I would like to try healing you. Is that alright? If you are willing, I want to try guiding you once.”

Once Ye Qinya, the crown prince, heard what Ye Caoyun had said, his heart had suddenly started beating out of control. After all, guiding is an intimate gesture between a sentinel and a guide. Moreover, it was said that the higher one’s compatibility the stronger the resonance between their souls would be. There is a fated pair and it was destined that they would touch each other’s soul during the process of healing. Well for normal healing, a guide only needs to use their mental energy to clear a sentinel’s mental contamination, a simple touch is needed for a guide to heal someone. But for a fated pair where boundaries between souls are almost nonexistent, the Crown Prince didn’t know if he would be able to hold back on time. However, he also wanted to try the guiding of Ye Caoyun.

The Crown Prince responded, ”I am willing. Let’s go to my dorm. We need a private area for a guiding attempt.”

”Okay. Let’s go back then,” said Ye Caoyun, truly not understanding what they are about to do next was something he would never have expected to happen.
