I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2184: 25.74 Lone Black Star - Out of Control

At the biggest and most advanced hospital in the empire...

Inside the ICU, placed in the most advanced medicine pod is the comatosed Ye Caoyun. Watching anxiously in the same room was the Duchess, Lord Mo Jing and the Crown Prince, Ye Qinya. All their eyes were on Ye Caoyun sleeping inside the medicine pod without any response ever since he had fainted on that remote resource planet. The other doctors are running around in the place as there are too many patients that ended up in the same state as the crown princess. What made them relieved is that at least these guides had woken up once before completely falling to slumber.

However, the situation of Ye Caoyun is completely different. He had never even opened his eyes even once after they had returned to the empire. This worry the crown prince and the duchess the most, after all, the soul injuries of the crown princess are worse compared to all the other guides.

The crown prince asked his Imperial Aunt, who is also the adopted dad of Ye Caoyun, ”Imperial Aunt, how is Yun’er?”

In front of the machines inside the ICU room, Lord Mo Jing’s expression is cold and serious. However, within his eyes was great distress and fear. This is his son after all. If even the greatest doctor in the empire cannot find anything wrong with his son, what others can even say?

”Qin’er... Yun’er’s soul injuries are beyond my capabilities. Even though my mental strength has been promoted to S-grade, my son’s mental strength is SSS+. My healing can barely keep up with the damage of his soul due to the difference of our strength. This... If only there was a stronger guide who could heal Yun’er, he would have a chance to wake up... I am useless.” Duchess Mo Jing was in despair. ” What strongest guide doctor!? I cannot even cure my own son!”

Seeing the reaction of his Imperial Aunt, the Crown Prince’s pale turned pale. He is now completely anxious. He thought that his Imperial Aunt could save his crown princess but it seems that he had underestimated his fiance’s injuries. The remorse and guilt fill his heart. He didn’t even have the heart to comfort the duchess as the pain in his heart was even more than he can control. His tears lingers at the corner of his eyes as he tries to stop it with his will alone. However right now, his heart felt like it was being stabbed multiple times and he can understand the despair of Mo Jing at this moment.

With a hoarse voice, the crown prince asked, ”...Imperial Aunt... Is there no other way...?”

”We need to find a stronger guide than Yun’er. But in the empire, he is already SSS+-grade. Who else is stronger than him?” The duchess, Mo Jing, can no longer hold back his tears as he covers his face with both of his hands. His tears slipping at the cracks of his fingers as his shoulders tremble while a whimpering sound comes from him.

Seeing his Imperial Aunt like this, the Crown Prince, couldn’t help but feel the same pain. This is the first time in his life that he had feared death. Before even his original cosmos, death was the last thing he feared. Even if he had died and got reincarnated multiple times he never cared. If he perishes then let it be! Who would have thought that in this world, he would learn what fear of death is. Not the death of his own, but the death of others. The looming death that fell on the very treasure he had finally found all his life. He is not willing.

The Imperial Emperor and the Imperial Duke had arrived at this point. Seeing the crying duchess and the dazed crown prince as if he had lost his soul, the two powerful men frowned almost instantly. They knew that the worse case scenario had most likely happened. Especially seeing the usually cold faced duchess, whose face only changes in front of his family and the royal family.

The duke, Lord Ye Jie, immediately ran towards his wife and hugged him.

”A’Jing?” Lord ye Jie calls gently.

The duchess removed his hand hiding his face and a fair face covered in tears looked at the duke. The moment the duchess sees his man, his tears fall even more.

”Brother Jie, Yun’er... Our son... Don’t know how to save him! Wuaa~” The duchess exclaimed as he jumped on his husband and buried his head on the shoulder of the duke and wailed loudly.

Hearing the reaction of his wife, the duke’s face contorted with pain and hugged his wife as silent tears finally fell on his face when he looked at his son inside the medicine pod with his eyes closed. The comforting words he had registered in his mind had all faded as he could only hug his husband and cry with him. They finally had a son, but fate wanted to take him away.

Seeing this scene, the Imperial Emperor could only shake his head in regret and then looked at his son who seemed to look soulless in place. He pats his son’s shoulder making the younger man look at him with dull eyes also covered in tears. The difference is that his tears were that of blood.

”Imperial...Father? I... still haven’t... married Yun’er yet... Why... Why did this happen!?” The Crown Prince, Ye Qinya, questioned. Clearly, the state of his mind isn’t normal as well.

The Imperial Emperor, Ye Wang was about to comfort his son only to notice that the shadows under his feet seemed to be spreading and the mourning cry of a flood dragon can be heard in the whole room affecting everyone aside the medicine pod where Ye Caoyun is asleep.

Every warning device in the whole hospital had rang. This is an event of a high class sentinel who is about to lose control. A terrifying aura continues to spread in the room.

”Oh no!Ye Jie, help me isolate this brat! He is losing control!” Emperor Ye Wang said.

Seeing this, the Imperial Emperor and the Imperial Duke instantly called out their quantum beast to protect the others inside the hospital as they tried to isolate the Crown Prince, who had lost his mind. This time even the duchess was affected. An SSS+-grade Sentinel losing control had a monstrous effect. This range of aura overfall spread beyond the hospital slowly covering the whole main capital and it was not even stopping as its range continued to spread.

All over the city, everyone was pressed on the ground, suffocating and suffering from coercion, they had never experienced before. This caused chaos to fall within the city. The other sentinels, every single one of them tried to block this aura and this barely saved the weak one from dying as they had long fainted from the overbearing aura that continues to spread in the whole city. The reaction seems similar to the first time the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness had summoned his quantum beast. But that scene was instantly controlled by Ye Xiajie and the God of Destruction and also instantly protected everyone. So except for the sudden pressure that lasted for a split second, it was instantly contained until it faded normally.

But this berserk of aura from the Crown Prince is uncontrolled and is fuelled with emotions he tried to ignore ever since his real memories had returned. He had treated Ye Caoyun as his fiance as someone he cared for. But his heart wasn’t entirely surrendered after all, they are two people with different origins. It was still a bit hard for Ye Qinya to accept his current identity to his original one. But now that he is about to lose the only person capable of moving his heart, the crown prince is losing it.

The pain in his heart was overwhelming even more so when his soul was injured. So the crown prince suddenly losing his mind was not unexpected, but something instinctively and was born from the pain of his heart.

The Imperial Emperor had to summon his quantum beast a Jiaolong and even the duke had to summon his Qiling Quantum beast to work together just so they could suppress the crazy flood dragon that comes out of the crown prince’s soul domain. The imperial emperor being an SSS-grade sentinel and the imperial duke being an SS-grade Sentinel. Both had just recently been promoted thanks to the teaching of their ancestors. But compared to the crown prince whose soul is now equal to a demigod, their blocking was only enough to suppress the crazy flood dragon whose scales are now feeling being replaced by an eerie black darkness as if transforming into some kind of evil dragon.

”Ugh~ What the hell is happening to the Flood Dragon of Qin’er?” The Imperial Emperor questions while witnessing the sight of transformation.

The Imperial Duke commented, ”Is it... mutating? Is this... a fallen flood dragon’s transformation? How can this be!?”
