I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2159: 25.49 Lone Black Star - At the Restaurant

While the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness were enjoying their lives in that S-grade world while looking for their target who had gone hiding as soon as he entered the world. Now they can only wait for this Ancient God to come out himself so they can grab him. After all, the aura of the ancient gods were close to nature itself and they can easily merge with the natural presence of the world. It was for this reason alone that Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie still haven’t found their target. They needed to capture this ancient god to interrogate him about what happened to the other ancient gods and where they come from.

At this moment, the couple after attending the afternoon class had gone on a date and headed to the newly opened restaurant. Who would have expected that they would bump into the protagonists of this world, the crown prince Ye Qinya and his future guide princess consort, Ye Caoyun. Well, the problem lies with the restaurant’s new staff who had double-booked the only supreme room in the restaurant. Both the God of Destruction and the Crown Prince had made the appointment. In the same Supreme Room and at the same scheduled time. Now the two couples are facing one another with staff of the restaurant bowing in between them.

”We apologize sincerely!”

”Our new hire had just double booked the Supreme room at the same scheduled time!”

”If one agrees to cancel it we are willing to compensate the other party and refund them the reservation fee!”

”Please accept our apologies!”

On the other hand, the two couples who had met in the restaurant accidentally again were now looking at one another.

Ye Caoyun couldn’t help but call out, ”Teacher Mo, Teacher Ye!?”

”Hello, children! Classes are over?” The God of Destruction, Hei Anjing responded calmly and even showed his concern by asking some normal questions.

”We greet Teacher Mo and Teacher Ye!” The Crown Prince said as he saluted towards the couple and even willingly lowered his head.

Ye Xiajie said, ”Be at ease. This is not the academy. There is no need for too much politeness! Let’s resolve the current situation first.”

”There is nothing to resolve. We can just eat together. The interior of this room is more than enough for four people,” said Mo Anjing while smiling.

He grabbed the wrist of Ye Caoyun, pulling him towards the Supreme Room. As for the other two sentinels waiting outside they can only look at one another and sigh helplessly.

The Crown Prince asked, ”An... Teacher Ye, is this alright?”

”My wife already invited you. Come eat with us. Let the adults treat you, children, to a meal,” said the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness.

Ye Qinya politely accepted this offer and gestures towards the open door, ”Teacher, please go ahead.”

The two sentinels were about to follow inside when suddenly they both abruptly turned to look at the staff of the restaurant.

”Just prepare a small feast,” The Crown Prince, Ye Qingya commanded.

As for Ye Xiajie, his smile disappeared without the presence of his wife. ”Cooking would take awhile. Don’t forget to send a few small plates of dessert in the room.”

Feeling being pardoned, the restaurant owner and his staff had finally sighed in relief only when they saw the two sentinels following their partners who had gone inside the Supreme room ahead of them. After the four big shots had disappeared into the room, the whole restaurant had fallen into chaos, especially in the kitchen. They asked them to make the small feast order from the Supreme Room first. Regardless of what was happening outside, the two pairs in the supreme room were now enjoying tea.

The God of Destruction only needs to stare at a person to know the state of their health and the changes on their body.

”Good. Your physique has increased a lot. Just a bit more and it would be on par with your mental energy grade. Strive to reach S-grade Physique at least. Your powerful mental energy can easily lose control without a matching physique on it. Well, the lessons tomorrow are not that heavy on the body so you don’t have to worry about much. We will be having lessons on how to use your mental energy to fight. In short, I will teach you how to materialize mental energy,” said Teacher Mo Anjing.

The Crown Prince asked, ”Teacher Mo, is it alright to tell us about this?”

”No worries, you will have to learn about it tomorrow. What’s the use of just knowing? You won’t be able to do it anyway without guidance. This is especially true for the sentinel students, this test was actually to allow them to feel the danger in the battlefield and how much controlled healing is useful,” said the God of Destruction.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness spoke, ”Since all of the students in the Royal Class had gone body tempering, the combat lessons for tomorrow will be about full transformation.”

”You guys need to get stronger faster. The Insect Race had been resurrected,” said Hei Anjing.

The moment he had said this, the Crown Prince had explained while Ye Caoyun looked a bit confused. It seems he didn’t understand much about what the God of Destruction had told them. For him, Insect Race just seems to be another race and is most likely the enemy of the human race in this world. On the other hand, the crown prince was shocked to his core. What is the insect race? These are the race that loves to eat everything on the planet until no living thing exists on that star.

”Insect Race has resurrected!” The Crown Prince exclaimed. He was about to stand up abruptly but a hand grabbed his shoulder preventing him from suddenly standing up.’

The God of Destruction said, ”Calm down. Calm down. It is not the time yet for them to arrive and attack the other star under their protection. Moreover, we have only sent them back. But there isn’t any news of where they had gone into hiding or where their new nest is located.”

”You guys should just focus on getting stronger,” said the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness. ”The faster you get stronger the more you can protect the empire. This is no longer our job.You are the future emperor and it is now your responsibility to protect this empire. Remember this as an emperor you cannot be defeated by anything. The moment you fall, so shall everything under your protection fall with you.”

Silence~

The sudden stillness in the room made the whole atmosphere awkward and tense. There is no problem for the two guides. One doesn’t care at all while the other isn’t that much attached yet to the empire. Ye Caoyun’s only anchor in this world are his parents. As for the two sentinels, one had just reminded the younger man while the latter seems to have fallen in contemplation after hearing the words of his own ancestor. This silence was finally broken when the restaurant started sending in the dishes of their small feast. The choices within this feast are abundant. All kinds of meats from regular pork, beef and chicken, there is also seafood among the dishes.

”Coming through. Your order has arrived!” A restaurant staff said.

These delicious looking dishes were spread on the table between the two pairs who were unexpectedly silent the moment they had arrived. The restaurant staff were all nervous thinking that they might have affected the conversation between the people inside the Supreme Room.

The God of Destruction was the first to have spoken to the staff.

”Ignore them and continue sending the food inside. Don’t forget about the wine!” Teacher Mo Anjing said. He is completely unaffected by the atmosphere between the two sentinels.

The restaurant staff looked at the smiling guide then at the two sentinels. One is emotionally detached to the world and the other is still in the middle of his thoughts. Just as Ye Qinya asked for more information, he was pinched by Ye Caoyun beside him.

Ye Caoyun whispered, ”Calm down. Nothing about their words had come true yet. We have enough time for preparation just in case the insect race has truly come back to life.”

Only under the soothing voice of a powerful guide like Ye Caoyun and anxiety plus urgency for the future events had slowly calmed down and it made the Crown Prince’s mind less clouded.

Ye Qinya asked, ”Are you healing me?”

”Just a bit. Your thoughts were clouded. I cannot let you lose control here,” said Ye Caoyun.

The two adults in front of them were observing the young pair with a teasing gaze. The staff of the restaurant pretended to be machines that just came over to send food inside. It took a while for the Crown Prince and Ye Caoyun to notice that people were staring at them.

The question of the God of Destruction became the last straw that left everyone in the area stunned, ”You two are a fated pair, aren’t you?”
