I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2158: 25.48 Lone Black Star - Changes

Back at the pool area...

Within the pool of emerald green concoction, students from the royal class and some teachers of the Imperial Royal Academy were undergoing the process of body tempering. Everyone in the pool experiences the pain of their whole body being reconstructed and the whole process of it was agonizing that some students can barely hold on. Just half an hour later a lot of guide students had fainted due to pain and seeing this situation the God of Destruction clicked his tongue in dissatisfaction.

The God of Destruction said, ”Tsk! Someone fished out those students who had lost consciousness. Once they have lost consciousness it is impossible for them to absorb the effect of the concoction. What a waste of resources! Either way, if they faint now they will have to undergo the same thing until all the impurities in their bodies are removed. Fish them out and slap them away then throw them back to the pool!”

The one who made the move to help the guide students was Ye Caoyun. Ye Xiajie and Mo Anjing made a move for them. This kind of job must be left to the others. Moreover, there is still a difference between a guide and sentinels so the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness wouldn’t make a move that might cause problems for himself. Ye Caoyun, after receiving a glance from two of his teachers, can only make his move. He jumped on the surface of the pool and walked above it before pulling out the students who had lost consciousness and gave them a few slaps, waking them out of the spot.

Slap. Slap. Slap!

Well Ye Caoyun is quite merciless with his hand and the face of this guide classmate of his got a swollen cheeks from his slapped and woke up from the pain of his aching cheeks awake.

”Ow~ why did you slap me?!”

”Awake? Good! Continue your body tempering. If you faint again I will slap you a few more times,” said Ye Caoyun as he let go of this classmate and walked towards the other students who had fainted and started slapping them away like the first one.

The first student who was slapped was so stunned that he had almost forgotten the surging pain on his body due to the concoction. Maybe because the pain of his cheeks sting that the pain he suffered from the concoction had lessened a lot. It was not only he who felt this, the other students realized this as well. That the slap on their faces was enough for the pain from before to lessen a lot to a bearable state.

A student shouted, ”Classmate Ye Caoyun, can you slap me again? I had a feeling that your slap was enough to counter the pain coming from my body while being tempered!”

Ye Caoyun coldly glanced at this student who shouted strange things and murmured, ”Sick bastard.” Only when all the students who had fainted were awakened that Ye Caoyun had left the pool and returned to the side where their teachers were watching over them.

The groaning and moaning in pain of the students and teachers had lasted for two hours and the emerald green pool water slowly turned transparent only to be tainted by a shade of black from the impurities their bodies had excreted. It didn’t take awhile for a disgusting scent spread in the area waking all of them awake. The God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness had longed isolated themselves with a barrier that prevented even the scent from reaching them. Ye Caoyun was also doing the same thing.

Ugh~

Urk~

Vomits~

The sounds of groaning were replaced by the sound of collective vomiting in the area. Seeing them suffering like this made the mischievous smile on the God of Destruction’s face even more wider.

”That black substance on you was the impurity your body possessed since you were a child. The effects of the concoction had removed the impurities in your bodies through the spores of your skin. Either way, you must take a bath first before everything else must continue. After you take a bath you can head to the clinic to check the results. This is all for today’s training. Teachers, you will handle the clean up. We are taking leave now.” The God of Destruction said.

Then everyone heard him whisper to his sentinel, Teacher Ye Xiajie beside him, ”A’Xia, let’s go. This scent is choking me. I don’t want this smell to linger on me.”

”Alright. We will leave now,” said the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness.

The teacher couple had left the pool area disgusted at the linger scent of them, making the students and teachers who were left behind look extremely embarrassed and race for the shower room to clean up themselves. Like their two teachers had mentioned, this scent is simply beyond what humans can bear.

The cleaning of the pool was handled by Principal Hei Cang under the command of the Crown Prince, Ye Qinya. Unable to offend his master, Hei Cang who drew the shortest straw can only suffer like this. He and the school guards were gagging as they cleaned up the black water pool with a foul smelling scent. It was torture. As for the students and teachers who had completed their body tempering process had all headed back to the school’s infirmary to have a full body check up.

To their surprise, the results were so amazing that they couldn’t believe it. The weak physique of the guide students had increased two levels with just this bath, while the sentinels can feel the restrictions on their physique loosening those who were born with weaker constitution had improved a lot as well.

Teacher Mo Jing who was overlooking the check up was amazed. Such a collective change is simply heavenly defying. Now the lowest physique level for the guides is C+-grade. It used to range within F-E grades which is normal for a guide’s physique level.

He and the other doctors were studying the results of the students after using the concoction.

”This is an amazing leap of discovery!”

”Most of the guide’s physique had improved a lot.”

”If we continue using this concoction, does that mean that there won’t be anymore F and E-grade physiques for the guides?”

”But it seems to be not that much effective on adults, the teachers who had undergone the same thing didn’t have much changes other than strengthening their bodies further. Moreover... Those who are already at S-grade had an even smaller change in their physique.”

”The removal of impurities in the sentinel’s body is already the best result we can have. Anymore is being too greedy!” Teacher Mo Jing said to the other doctors. ”Moreover, isn’t it enough that their hidden injuries were cured in the process as well. It can be said that they were all granted a new body.”

”Do we plan to use them on the students of the other class?”

”I heard the process is so painful that one of them fainted and was only awakened by Teacher Mo Jing’s son’s slap.”

”Well external help would be enough to wake the fainted students which is useful.”

”Prepare the necessary list of herbs, we will try it on the noble class’s students tomorrow. After that, the other classes would have to undergo this process as well,” said Teacher Mo Jing.

The other teachers responded, ”Yes!”

After the students of the royal class were allowed to leave, the teachers who had done the same process were delighted to know that all of their hidden injuries were healed. Like the a lame legs, back pain and all, most of these things were resolved. There is also the fact that their body is now stronger compared to before.

—

Outside the clinic, Ye Caoyun is waiting for his dad to finish his work when suddenly the Crown Prince approaches him.

Ye Qinya asked, ”Yun’er, Uncle Mo said he still needs to have a meeting with the other doctors about the results. He might not be able to go home with you today.”

”Oh~, then I will go ahead and go home before him. Thank you for informing me, your highness!” Ye Caoyun said as he was about to leave only for his wrist to be captured by the crown prince behind him.

Ye Caoyun turned around and looked at his wrist caught in the large hand of the Crown Prince before him. ”Is there something else, Your Highness?”

”Can I invite you out for dinner tonight, Yun’er?” Ye Qinya asked.

The Crown Prince would usually invite him for a meal whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner, either one of these means there would always be Ye Qinya by his side. It’s because of this effort from the prince that Ye Caoyun was no longer that awkward in his presence and can meet the crown prince’s eyes from time to time.

Ye Caoyun asked, ”Where are we going to eat this time?”

A smile appeared on the Crown Prince’s face and said, ”How about we go to a new restaurant in the city? I heard their cheesecake is the best selling.”

”Okay! Let’s go!” Ye Caoyun said as he happily left with the crown prince leaving the other students in the area dumbfounded.

Only when they had left that the students had started talking to one another.

”Since when did the Crown prince get closer to Ye Caoyun?”

”Isn’t that normal? They are from the same family!”

”But they aren’t blood related.”

”I wonder what the result of their compatibility test is?”

Suddenly, rumors about the Crown Prince dating his nominal cousin had spread in the whole empire.
