I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2196: 25.86 Lone Black Star - Empty Heavenly Palace

The changes in the empire was left unaware to everyone outside the empire itself as the third prince had commanded that no one shall share the fact that the royal family had been captured and that the current throne is about to fall on the Third Prince, Ye Di. It wasn’t as if no one was trying to send a message to seek help to the crown prince, it’s just that the third prince had controlled even the networking well and made sure that those who dared to send a message outside the empire would be punished by death. No one wants to die and because of this threat, not even one had sent a message to the Crown Prince and the other royal family members fighting for their lives just to protect the empire.

On the other hand, at the void, the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness, they had been watching what was happening in the Imperial Palace. They had witnessed how the Third Prince seems to have gained some power that is not of this world and it was due to it that he was able to take over the palace when the main characters were gone.

The God of Destruction said, ”This is strange. Where did this third prince get such power? What kind of power is Hypnotism?”

”This is more like domination. Dominating someone’s soul and controlling the person itself against their will. This is more like an evil ability. What is the role of this third prince in this world?” The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness asked.

Thinking for a moment, Hei Anjing took a guess. He said, ”He might be a villain. Don’t you think so? He had always been against the crown prince. Maybe our presence had lessened his involvement and only after the presence of the main characters had weakened that his influence had been enhanced as well.”

”A villain fits him. But that power isn’t something originally from this world? It’s something from the upper realm,” Ye Xiajie said.

The God of Destruction said, ”The original plot should have been destroyed when we came. But for it to correct itself then the problem should have something to do with the heavenly laws.” His expression changed when a problem that involves the world itself suddenly happens.

The two of them intentionally avoided getting involved in this world but that doesn’t mean that others from the outside will not get involved as well.

Ye Xiajie asked, ”Should we check on the heavenly laws of this world?”

Hei Anjing thought for a moment as he finally nodded his head. In the end, the couple decided to check on the heavens of this world. The only time they had contact with the heavenly laws of this world is when they descended. It’s just that after that, they felt that there is no need to interact with it anymore as they had no intention of directly getting involved with the plot. Now that something had happened, it seems that they had to investigate things personally now.

After making a decision, the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness had headed to the divine palace where the laws of the heavens reside. The temple is majestic and made of pure gold and clouds. However, when the two of them had entered the temple, they felt that the place was too quiet and there wasn’t even any presence in this place.

”This Heavenly Palace is too quiet. Don’t the Domain God of this world get bored?” The God of Destruction complained while looking around.

Even for the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness, they also felt that this place is simply too noiseless as if nothing in this palace had a living being exist at all. The more he felt that eerie sense of desolation, the more his face turned serious.

”There is something wrong with this place!” Ye Xiajie said as he hurriedly entered the deepest location of the Heavenly Palace was the core of the world, the place where the World Database Core resides.

As they entered the centermost location of the palace, they were shocked to see the corpse of the dead domain lord of this world. The floor was covered in golden blood and the body of the Heavenly law’s vessel had longed turned cold. Seeing this, the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness had turned serious. It means that something even more powerful than the domain lord had killed it. The couple chose to investigate the situation to find clues. They looked around to find some traces that would give them a hint as to what kind of killer was capable of killing a domain lord of a high-grade star like this.

Ye Xiajie investigated the corpses while Hei Anjing looked around the venue trying to find something that may lead to a proof. As the Sovereign God of the Void and Darkness was checking the dead body, a trace very similar to his poor can be felt. It’s not simply the power to devour, but his cosmic power of the void and darkness. A unique power from the Obsidian Cosmos and from beyond.

”This is... The Cosmic Laws of Eternal Darkness. How can it appear here?!” Ye Xiajie exclaimed as he grabbed a strand of darkness that had wrapped itself around his finger.

Hei Anjing heard his beloved’s voice and came to him. ”My love, what’s wrong?”

But as he had gotten closer, the dark strand acting coquettish around the finger of Ye Xiajie suddenly turned vicious as it saw the God of Destruction approaching. It had completely changed its shape and become an aggressive power intending to attack Hei Anjing himself. The God of Destruction was stunned and didn’t expect this sudden attack. Before this eternal darkness was able to touch Hei Anjing, Ye Xiajie pulled it back forcibly and absorbed it within his body.

Even after he had absorbed it, it kept struggling within his body, almost causing the darkness to cover the whole world with darkness. The God of Destruction’s face turned serious at this moment. This strange power had forced his beloved to merge with it just to keep it under control. However, he knew that this is only a strand of power the original Dark Cosmic Lord possessed.

Hei Anjing mumbles, ”This is the power of the cosmos only found from the world beyond this. How could it appear here?”

However, his beloved had no time to give him an answer. After all, he had to take over the control of this strand of power that was rebelling against his control leaving him annoyed. The soul fragment of the Dark Lord struggles at stabilizing this power that the soul fragment of the Hell Lord Guardian had to help him with, only then did the struggling power be restrained. However, it would take awhile before this power was placed under complete control and Ye Xiajie had to fall into deep meditation and didn’t know what was happening in reality.

The God of Destruction felt that coming closer to his beloved at his moment would just make things hard for him. So he chooses to check the surroundings instead and clean up the corpse of the dead domain lord. Now that the domain lord had died, the rules of the heavens of this world had disappeared. Now everything is possible to happen. It was unknown whether this is a good thing or not. Who would have thought that just as he was about to touch the corpse of the domain lord, it would move all of the sudden and grab the wrist of the God of Destruction.

A powerful cosmos law that controls light can be felt from the corpse which is now looking at Hei Anjing.

Then an unknown voice was heard coming from the corpse, ”You cannot keep sleeping my lord. You will still need to wake up in the end.”

The God of Destruction controlled the cosmos laws of destruction, it instantly spread from the hand holding his wrist to the whole body of the dead domain lord which was controlled. A power that is silvery black with hints of violet shade. This completely destroys the existing laws that complete the existence of the corpse and disintegrates it to nothingness. An extreme law that can even destroy all laws in existence.

Hei Anjing watches as the corpses slowly disappear, no ashes, no laws, not even a hint of blood or existence remained of the corpse. It was like erasing that fact that this formerly domain lord exists and now not even its existence as a corpse was pardoned. He was being completely exterminated and was no longer permitted to even become an entity. The God of Destruction watches as the existing laws that created this existence called domain lord perish slowly like bubbles that popped itself and completely disappeared.

Then Hei Anjing mumbles as he glances at his beloved and looks at the scenery around him like it never existed in his line of sight at all.

”The only person who can wake me up should be coming back soon~” then a playful smile at the corner of his lips appeared.

Even though no one can understand what the words of the God of Destruction meant or know who might be the owner of that power that spoke to Hei Anjing just now. It seems that the secret the Destruction Lord Guardian possessed isn’t simply what everyone knows.
