I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2189: 25.79 Lone Black Star - Back to the Empire

In the voice, the Crown Prince, Ye Qinya, had worked hard in the void to fully control the power he had let loose when he had lost his mind in despair. He had just opened his eyes from his meditative state when he was welcomed with the scene of two thrones in the abyss, one white and one black. Unfortunately, the white throne is currently empty. Not because its owner was not around but because the owner of the white throne is currently seated on the lap of his master, the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness, kissing the owner of the black throne. When the crown prince had seen this, he immediately lowered his hand and looked at his toes.

Watching the intimate scene of your boss is simply too embarrassing with a scene of danger in one’s life. There is a fear that you might accidentally offend your boss and their lover for seeing something he shouldn’t have. There is also a sigh of relief, as that one glance had told him enough and that he was lucky that they weren’t doing it when he had woken up. He is still afraid of dying thought and there is that possibility for it.

The God of Destruction chose not to tease this crown prince and stopped after kissing his other half once and turned to sit properly on his husband’s lap instead.

”Alright~ raise your head. There is nothing more to see now,” said Hei Anjing. His tone was teasing and Ye Qinya felt he would die if he raised his head. He kept his head lowered as he trembled under this voice.

The crown prince speaks politely, ”This servant doesn’t dare. Please forgive me for my rudeness.”

”Alright. Stop teasing him, Jing’er. If he wastes more time, he might lose his wife,” said the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness.

Ye Xiajie’s voice was composed and nonchalant but it was these words that made the frightened crown prince look up to the two masters.

”My lords! What happened to Yun’er?!” Ye Qinya asked with urgency. Clearly, based on his words and tone alone, that this young man is indeed surprised, frightened and urgently wanting to know what happened to his lover.

Ye Xiajie said, ”A week ago, that group of mutated zergs you had found on that remote resource planet had found the coordinates of the empire. It had begun its invasion within the universe the empire was in and the military had to urgently send sentinels and guides to the frontlines.”

”Not only is my disciple, Ye Caoyun, sent out. The injured and death count is currently increasing ever since the invasion had arrived. Even though Ye Caoyun is a powerful guide, he isn’t the best when it comes to combat alone. There is also the duke, your father who had been blocking that Zerg Prince while waiting for your return.” The God of Destruction said, ”There is also the fact that the Zerg Prince had remembered Ye Caoyun’s mental energy and was obsessed with it. He was the one that caused him to fall into a coma and this is because his mental energy had been devoured by this being.”

”For the insect race, beings with powerful mental energy and energy source are the best nourishment for evolution. Your partner fits this bill pretty well,” said Ye Xiajie.

Hei Anjing said, ”Don’t worry though. My disciple is still strong. How can he die when he has only been fighting for a few days. Even so you must hurry, the death count is increasing too much and we cannot directly interfere unless the divinity from the other side make a move.”

”Please let me return to the empire!” The Crown Prince said.

However, the two gods didn’t make a move right away. The God of Destruction had lost interest in him and is now playing with the hair of his beloved. As for the Dark Cosmic Ruler, he is observing his kinsman before his eyes. The change on the Chief Warden is not that surprising as he had been involved with him and the God of Destruction, getting influence is not impossible. But his race was supposed to be an existence that cannot be easily moved by love or mortal emotions.

However, the fact that this young man in front of him, someone born from the obsidian cosmos yet still chooses to be reborn in the Diamond Cosmos, had started to completely change the moment his fate with that child called Ye Caoyun had been matched. He had checked with his beloved before and even with the world database, that Ye Qinya falling for Ye Caoyun is not someone’s schemes but something that has faded. According to the world database, Ye Qinya had lived through this world’s cycle multiple times. However, the Ye Caoyun in that life was not the same as the current Ye Caoyun who is a reincarnated god but an aborigine of this world.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness had seen the cycle where his subordinate had killed Ye Caoyun a times, destroyed the empire a couple of times and even saved the world a nth time. But he had never noticed that he had been living this life for more than a hundred times, and in this lifetime he had given up resisting and wanted to perish faster that his mental contamination is more than 90 percent. If not for the fact that Ye Caoyun had reincarnated in this world, the crown prince would have died faster. But what left Ye Xiajie confused is how this Kin of his fell in love? If his love with the God of Destruction can be explained with their entanglement in their past life, then Ye Qinya falling for Ye Caoyun was something he couldn’t explain.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness had forgotten the sentence ’There is first for everything’. It just happened that Ye Qinya’s first love happened to be Ye Caoyun. The God of Destruction knew about this but didn’t stop his beloved from looking at the answers himself.

Ye Xiajie finally asked, ”Ye Caoyun is not from our cosmos. He is not even someone with a past with you and he had just arrived in this world for the first time. How did you even fall in love with him?”

The crown prince looked confused. This is something he didn’t expect the Dark Lord to ask of him, who is merely someone whose standing is equal to that of a commoner in his eyes.

’Is the lord asking this question for real? Has he forgotten about the Destruction Lord in his lap before asking this?’ Thoughts of Ye Qinya upon hearing his own lord’s question.

He even couldn’t help but sneak a peek to the God of Destruction who only flashed a knowing and understanding smile at him. It was then that the Crown Prince knew that this lord knew the answer yet let his master look for his own answer that didn’t come from him. Listening only to one answer would lead to a biased point of view after all.

The jealous incarnate, Ye Xiajie, upon noticing the young man looking at his wife, finally frowned. He said, ”Look at where your eyes are? Is this lord’s question that hard to answer!?”

A glacial voice resounded in the abyss echoing within the dark world making Ye Qinya nervous as he immediately lowered his gaze and no longer looked at the God of Destruction.

”Answering to the Dark Lord, this servant didn’t mean that. It’s just that this servant also couldn’t explain. My love for Ye Caoyun is beyond my control. It was just there before I could understand anything and only when I almost lost him that I finally realized what fear is. Not a fear for my own death, but him disappearing from my life. My lord, this is not something I can properly explain with words, but my lord should understand it yourself. After all, you love the God of Destruction more than your own life,” said Ye Qinya.

Upon hearing this response, the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness was stunned for a second and finally lowered his eyes and looked at the man within his embrace. That uncontrollable heartbeat, his desire to keep his beloved by his side, his obsession and possessiveness over this precious one within his embrace.

Finally, as if his question was answered, Ye Xiajie threw the Crown Prince out of the void and let him return to reality. The moment he was thrown out, he had come out to the throne hall. Leaving everyone in the hall at that moment speechless. The Imperial Emperor, Ye Wang, his ministers and all the generals that had gathered at the throne hall at this moment were all looking at the Crown Prince that came out of a space rift that looked like a blackhole which instantly disappeared after Ye Qinya had returned to reality.

The Crown Prince whose head directly hit the ground complained, ”Ow! Did I get thrown out for glancing at the Lord’s wife for a few seconds?”
