I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2199: 25.89 Lone Black Star - A Sudden Change

It was unknown when the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness had opened his eyes, but when he looked around, the night had long descended and the sun above their heads had been replaced by a moon. Ye Xiajie looked around and felt a throbbing pain in his head. It seems they couldn’t recall much of what happened after they were in the middle of playing with their wife, the God of Destruction. He looked around and noticed that he was lying on a gathering of clouds which acted like a bed for him and his wife within his embrace.

Feeling the warmth clinging from his side, Ye Xiajie noticed the beautiful face of his wife, Hei Anjing sleeping peacefully within his arms even hugging him with his eyes closed naturally into a sleep. Upon seeing such an endearing moment, the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness couldn’t help but lower his head and rain kisses on his beloved face. After a while, Ye Xiajie noticed that they were still in the Heavenly Palace of the current world they are in. He wasn’t surprised but some parts that he doesn’t remember doing were recorded in his head as his own memories which he felt eerily strange. There is also that man with their face, which he and the hell flame lord had met during their meditation.

Narrowing his eyes dangerously, the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness murmured, ”That man... is he our inner demons?”

Thinking of this possibility, Ye Xiajie returned to reality when his beloved slightly curled up within his embrace as if suffering from the sudden drop of temperature. Thinking that he cannot let his lover suffer, Ye Xiajie took out a spare robe from his storage and covered Hei Anjing with it and carried him gently within his embrace. With just a thought an entrance which looked like a black hole appeared in thin air and without any hesitation, Ye Xiajie stepped inside. This is the entrance to the abyss which he had summoned.

After leaving the heavenly palace, without the domain lord’s existence or the presence of a high ranking divinity like the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness. The world itself felt the danger of no one’s protection. Because of this, the whole galaxy which they are in had suddenly started to change. The will of the world had chosen to strengthen its children and even the qi in the world had started to increase. It wanted to upgrade the people that live in him and ask them to protect the world itself.

Its first choice, as expected, was the royal family of the empire. Within this galaxy the empire can be said to be the center of the power which this world possessed. Those who possessed the direct bloodline of the Ye and Mo clans had abruptly felt that their bodies were being upgraded after fainting on that spot that night. This fainting sickness had caused the whole empire to almost fall into chaos. As there is some point at the time that every living being in this galaxy were all forced to sleep to accept the upgrade of the Will of the World. This is something no one had expected and even the outsiders who were hiding in the same galaxy had felt it.

The world suddenly changing like this was something that would never be a choice unless something serious had already been done to the world.

In the empire...

After the third prince had imprisoned the current emperor and empress in the underground prison, he had started preparing for his enthronement. He wasn’t in a hurry as the control over the authority within the Empire had completely fallen under his control. It seems his mind control ability was quite powerful and this is without others noticing that something is strange in the imperial palace. Moreover, the third prince, Ye Di, had only announced to the city that the current emperor had gotten ill and he will temporarily take over of the throne while the crown prince hasn’t returned and at the same time look after the royal couple.

The people of the empire accepted this reason and no one questioned the authenticity of this news. After all, even the ministers of the court were all under his control. For ordinary people, this is simply a change in leaders and wouldn’t affect them much. But for those in the upper echelon, this is a chance to rise up. But the small clans and noble families didn’t need to do anything to achieve this. After all, Prince Ye Di had placed all of the leaders of these noble families. Under his mind control, they would only act under his orders and even if the current emperor tried to give them another command they wouldn’t listen at all. What the third prince is controlling isn’t simply their vessels but even their souls were under his grasp.

The Will of the World even though it needs the protection of someone powerful, it has only allowed those good at heart to get this sudden evolution gift.

At the underground prison, Emperor Ye Wang and his empress were locked inside. Not only them but also everyone from their two clans. The poison that was used on the imperial empress under this sudden upgrade in their power had finally woke up. After being poisoned by the Third Prince Ye Di, the Imperial Empress had fallen into a state of semi-comatose. Her body was asleep but her mind wasn’t and she could hear everything that was happening around her.

The threat from the Third Prince’s mouth. The conversation between her husband, Emperor Ye Wang and the third prince. Like how much Prince Ye Di had told the Imperial Emperor that the only one who can keep the empress alive was only him as only he knew the recipe for the antidote. Emperor Ye Wang didn’t want to lose his beloved wife and had to lower his head just to keep the empress alive. He could have chosen to abandon the imperial empress and escaped from this imperial palace to gather people from the outside of this palace for support.

In the end, Emperor Ye Wang chose not to do it. He chose to stay beside his empress and accompanied her in this underground prison. The Empress knew about it as she listened while being in a coma. She had cried in her sleep more than once. This sacrifice of her husband was something that made her happily yet sad at the same time. After all, if not for her being weak, her husband wouldn’t have to compromise with that villain.

Who would have thought that they would have an opportunity to escape tonight. With the support of the will of the world, the first one to receive its blessing was the royal family. Only those who are truly a member of the Regal Ye Clan felt their blood boil that night as their evolution was accompanied with undeniable pain. The pain only lasted for a few hours. Then the next moment they had opened their eyes, both Emperor Ye Wang and the empress had felt the changes in their bodies. It became easier to move and their whole being was full of energy.

The Imperial Empress who was comatose due to poisoning had abruptly opened her eyes and sat up leaning to the side as she suddenly coughed black blood.

Cough!

”Wife, you are awake! This is great! Did you just puke blood just now!?” The Imperial Emperor looked at his wife full of worry.

The Empress grabbed her husband’s arm and said, ”Don’t call anyone! I am alright. Look closely at the blood. Isn’t it black? What I just puke is the poison I had drunk. For some unknown reason my whole body has changed and I feel much stronger than usual.”

”The same thing is happening to me and it is still increasing,” The Imperial Emperor, Ye Wang said. ”Wife, how are you feeling? Can you move? If not, I will just carry you away from this place. We should escape for now!”

The Imperial Empress nods her head. She knew that being in the palace which is now under the complete control of the third prince, would be dangerous for her and her husband. Leaving this place is better as they still need to gather some allies before trying to take back the palace from the Third Prince.

”I am fine, husband. My body is now full of energy. We should leave the palace before someone notices our changes,” said the Imperial Empress.

On the same day the emperor and the empress had escaped from the prison they were in. The jail was created by some metal that can restrain and lock in anyone whose overall strength is at 3S grade. But with the blessing of the world just now, the emperor and the empress’s body and overall power had increased a lot. Now the Imperial Emperor possessed the strength of a 4S-grade sentinel and it was still increasing albeit slowly compared from before. Then that afternoon, an urgent report was sent to the Throne Hall which is now occupied by the Third Prince, Ye Di.

”This is bad! The emperor and the empress had gone missing!!!” The messenger reported as soon as he entered the hall.
