Pokémon Invasion: Explaining Pokémon to Save the World

In the Pokémon world, poachers were far more dangerous than those in this world. With enhanced physical abilities, specialized capture technology, and Pokémon enforcers, they were far more ruthless when hunting wild Pokémon.

Against such threats, the Chansey line usually stood no chance.

But in this world—the situation might be different.

When facing humans here, even a single offensive move from a Chansey could cause severe injury.

Some people had already begun to notice this. By piecing together the information Chen Mo had revealed about the Pokémon world, the Arthas mural ruins, and the gradual improvement in human physical condition worldwide, certain patterns were becoming clear.

Still—

Hearing Chen Mo’s explanation, viewers couldn’t help but feel worried for these gentle, pink creatures.

[Pokémon poachers are real. Didn’t the Bureau release a notice before? It mentioned them—and even explained how Aerodactyl and Hydreigon incidents were tied to poachers.]

[Those people would risk their lives for money… I’m really worried they’ll target Chansey.]

[They definitely will. Chansey are too valuable.]

[The government has to act fast.]

Chen Mo brought up the issue intentionally—to raise public awareness.

As his livestream continued, more rare Pokémon would inevitably appear. Rather than hide things, it was better to speak openly during this era of change.

Of course—

He had already decided to notify Professor Zhou afterward. With Pokémon Centers being planned, having Chansey involved would be invaluable.

Still hidden in the grass, Chen Mo continued explaining softly while preparing to leave.

The Chansey group was just passing by—no need to disturb them.

But—

Just as he was about to move—

The three Blissey at the front suddenly turned toward his hiding spot.

”Happy!”

The next moment—

They charged straight toward him.

Fast.

Before long, Chen Mo and Yi-ge were surrounded, with more Chansey closing in behind.

[They found him!?]

[That perception is insane!]

[Wait… didn’t Chen Mo say they usually avoid humans?]

”…So they noticed.”

Chen Mo was surprised.

He knew Blissey could sense emotions—but detecting him from 20–30 meters away, hidden in bushes?

That was impressive.

More importantly—

They didn’t run.

They approached.

And quickly.

Soon, a ring of pink surrounded them.

”Happy~”

The three Blissey stepped closer.

Chen Mo remained calm—his Detective Eye showed no hostility.

”Blissey, what do you—”

Before he could finish—

One Blissey swiftly grabbed Pikachu from his shoulder.

”Pika!?”

Pikachu struggled in confusion—but when placed on the ground, it was met by smiling pink faces.

”Pika…”

Terrified.

Then—

The three Blissey raised their hands.

Soft pink waves radiated outward, enveloping Pikachu.

”Pika! Pika pika!”

[What are they doing!?]

[Chen Mo, do something!]

[Wait… that sound…]

Haunter emerged, ready to act—

But Chen Mo stopped it.

”Don’t interrupt.”

Moments later—

The Blissey stepped back.

Pikachu stood there, looking at itself.

Then—

Its eyes widened in shock.

Its energy had fully returned.

Chen Mo explained:

”That move is Heal Pulse. It restores a Pokémon’s injuries.”

Now he understood.

They had sensed Pikachu’s injuries.

Earlier, during the staged fight with Beibei, Pikachu had taken minor damage. Nothing serious—but enough to catch their attention.

Still…

Watching the relieved Blissey—

Chen Mo didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

”For such a small injury… you didn’t all need to use Heal Pulse…”

”Happy~”

After receiving Pikachu’s thanks, the Blissey happily waved.

[They’re too kind…]

[Protect them at all costs]

Then—

The Blissey approached again.

The one in the center looked at Chen Mo, then Yi-ge.

”Happy~”

It reached into its pouch—

And gently took out an egg.

Offering it.

[THE EGG!!!]

[That’s the legendary happiness egg!]

[I’m so jealous!!!]

Soon—

Chen Mo, Yi-ge, and even Pikachu each received one.

”…Is this really okay?”

”Happy~”

The Blissey nodded with a smile.

After everyone accepted, the group waved goodbye and continued on their way.

”Lucky~ happy~ lucky~…”

[This is what ”Pokémon” should mean.]

[I’m actually emotional…]

[They’re like angels.]

Chansey were healing—not just physically, but emotionally.

New viewers, drawn in by the documentary, found themselves growing fond of Pokémon through Beibei’s story… and now this.

Even Chen Mo felt lighter.

”Thank you.”

As he watched them leave—

He suddenly noticed something.

There were no Happiny—the youngest form.

”…Strange.”

But he didn’t dwell on it.

”Let’s move.”

Yi-ge’s voice came from beside him.

”Why?”

Chen Mo looked up.

The sky had darkened. The sun was gone.

”…Rain’s coming.”

Mountain weather changed quickly.

And they hadn’t reached camp yet.

”We need to hurry.”

Chen Mo pulled out a Poké Ball.

”For this next stretch, I’ll be flying. Sorry, everyone.”

He released Pidgeotto.

Yi-ge released Xatu.

Previously, they avoided flying—due to weight and for better exploration.

But now—

No time.

They took off at full speed.

By the time they reached camp—

The sky was heavy, but still dry.

”Not bad,” Chen Mo said.

Then—

Drizzle.

”…Of course.”

”Pikachu!”

”I know, I know! I’m speeding up!”

”Haunter, pass me the black bag!”

”Keh heh~”

Unaffected by rain, Haunter zipped around playfully, handing over tools.

Soon—

With teamwork, the tent was finished.

Standing under the tarp, raincoat damp, Chen Mo looked ahead.

Rain tapped softly.

Mist wrapped the mountains.

The lake rippled under gray skies.

Quiet.

Peaceful.

Then—

He turned.

Inside the tent—

Haunter was staring at the three eggs.

Drooling.

Chen Mo: ”...”
