Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 597: Chapter 85: Will of Fire

Holding two treasure chests, as usual, Su Xiao should light up a cigarette and ignite it with Fate Redemption to redeem his not-so-great luck.

When it comes to luck, Su Xiao is puzzled. He’s not a Lancer, so why is he intermittently unlucky?

That’s right, intermittently unlucky. His luck fluctuates between good and bad.

After opening numerous treasure chests, Su Xiao deduced some patterns; luck is ’balanced.’ For example, if he’s unlucky today, he might have excellent luck tomorrow.

Having concluded this, Su Xiao put a cigarette in his mouth but didn’t light it, instead picking up that Purple Treasure Box.

Luck should be reserved for the Light Golden Treasure Chest, so why not use this Purple Treasure Box to overdraft his bad luck?

[Yes/No to open Treasure Chest (Purple).]

He chose to open it, silently hoping that no flashy effects would appear.

[You gained 2000 Paradise coins.]

[You gained 1000 Paradise coins.]

...

Su Xiao was stunned. Although he was prepared mentally, this kind of yield left him momentarily unable to accept it.

After a moment of contemplation, Su Xiao didn’t choose to open the Light Golden Treasure Chest. Instead, he quickly left his exclusive room and headed straight for the trading market.

In a shop run by a worker near the trading market.

Although the shop isn’t large in size, it is bustling with people, showcasing a lively atmosphere.

The shop is named ’Luck and Strength,’ and the products sold here are quite special, including treasure boxes and Scarlet Cards.

Some Contractors who dislike gambling with luck will sell their treasure chests or Scarlet Cards to earn Paradise coins to purchase the needed equipment.

While some Contractors enjoy gambling with luck, this place is somewhat akin to a casino or a gamble.

Some have been left destitute after opening treasure chests, while others have become rich overnight.

Su Xiao squeezed to the front of a counter where the worker sales assistant was busy and sweating profusely.

This counter only sells Green Treasure Chests, and Su Xiao was going to try a theory.

After waiting a few minutes, the panting female worker behind the counter politely asked, ”Guest, how many treasure chests do you need?”

”Three.”

”5000 Paradise coins each.”

Su Xiao noted inwardly that the shopkeeper is ruthless; Green Treasure Chests costing 5000 Paradise coins each.

Spending 15000 Paradise coins to purchase three Green Treasure Chests, Su Xiao returned to his exclusive room.

Placing the three Green Treasure Chests before him, Su Xiao opened them one by one.

[You opened Treasure Chest (Green).]

[You gained 800 Paradise coins.]

...

[You opened Treasure Chest (Green).]

[You gained 1100 Paradise coins.]

...

[You opened Treasure Chest (Green).]

[You gained a solid Hand Guard Shield (White).]

...

Undoubtedly, these three Green Treasure Chests were a blood loss, but Su Xiao didn’t care because he was overdrafting his bad luck.

Placing the Light Golden Treasure Chest in front of him, Su Xiao lit the cigarette in his mouth with Fate Redemption. After exhaling a puff of light golden smoke, he opened the Light Golden Treasure Chest without hesitation.

The exquisite treasure chest with a light golden pattern slowly opened, exuding a sense of richness.

A golden light suddenly flashed, and at that moment, Bubu Wang, with a bag of snacks in its mouth, pushed the door open just in time.

Seeing the golden light emanating from the treasure chest, the bag of snacks in Bubu Wang’s mouth dropped to the ground with a plop. It looked heartbroken, as if it had missed something spectacular.

Golden light filled the exclusive room, and Su Xiao turned his head slightly.

[You opened Treasure Chest (Light Gold).]

Seeing the Soul Crystals + Intimacy Paradise + Will of Fire in his hand, a smile appeared on Su Xiao’s face.

Undoubtedly, this is the highest value treasure chest he has opened, and the items obtained are quite decent.

Because of the Naruto World’s timeline, Su Xiao can’t use [Intimacy Paradise] to enter the Naruto World, as each Derivative World has its own progress.

For example, if Su Xiao left during the Pain attacks the village storyline, he can’t enter before this timeline, such as the Chunin Examination.

Even though he can’t enter, other Contractors can. There are countless Naruto Derivative Worlds, their numbers determined by Reincarnation Paradise. Since Su Xiao has participated in Space Battlefield and acted as a Ruler, he knows this well.

As for the Light Golden equipment, [Will of Fire], although it doesn’t directly increase combat power, it boosts combat abilities significantly.

In Reincarnation Paradise, combat isn’t like a game; it’s not about who has higher attack power or more HP. There are many factors in battle, and Su Xiao has killed many enemies with stronger attributes than him.

Will is related to experience. For someone like Su Xiao, their Will attribute would be high, while for someone who has been pampered since childhood, their Will attribute would be low.

Standing unflinchingly among piles of corpses, this relies on the Will attribute.

Willpower also has other uses, such as resisting spiritual control skills, and Su Xiao is most afraid of being controlled.

Taking off Mikasa’s Mind+5 pendant, given the Energy Shield, the attributes of this pendant seem a bit redundant.

Grabbing the Will of Fire pendant, this piece of jewelry is very plain, with a black cord and the main pendant. The pendant has metallic and stone-like qualities, is fiery red, and shares the pattern of a Konoha headband.

Wearing the [Will of Fire], Su Xiao hesitated for a moment and took out the [Demon Hunter Ring].

Su Xiao is currently wearing the [Mithril Holy Ring], with the following abilities:

Equipment Effect: Mithril Burning (Active), releases the wearer from all control effects after using this skill (For control skills released by attributes below 35 points).

Note: Mithril Burning (Active) consumes 100 Mana Value.

Note: Mithil Burning (Active) has a cooldown time of 18 hours.

...

Mithril Burning can only undo control skills released by attributes below 35 points, which was indeed strong in the early stages, but now, few of Su Xiao’s opponents have main attributes below 35 points.

Regarding control skills under 35 points of attributes, whether they can even control Su Xiao is still unknown, making the [Mithril Holy Ring] seem redundant.

Although wearing a single Demon Hunter Ring doesn’t trigger the set effect, the attributes of the Demon Hunter Ring itself are good.

Equipment Effect: Resistance (Passive), reduces the duration of all abnormal states by 30% (such as dizziness, curses, etc.).

...

Compared to Mithril Burning (Active), Resistance (Passive) is stronger at this stage.

As a result, both Mikasa’s Mind+5 and the Mithril Holy Ring are obsolete. Both can be sold, and they fetch a good price, especially Mikasa’s Mind.
