Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 556: Chapter 44: Trade and Eyes

Hearing Sasori’s words, Su Xiao paused only momentarily before continuing forward.

When the three had just arrived in the desert, both Su Xiao and Deidara sensed something was off about Sasori. This ’sense of discord’ intensified when Sasori saw Chiyo.

Su Xiao is sure that Sasori will die in this cave, although Chiyo and Sakura are far from being Sasori’s match.

To be precise, Sasori has long been ’dead’; his current existence is merely a matter of consciousness surviving.

During the days spent with Sasori, Su Xiao noticed that Sasori didn’t need sleep, water, or food but occasionally replenished a special liquid in his ’core.’

Sasori has no sense of pain, no senses, and has even lost some emotions. To him, the body is merely a puppet he can create at will.

Su Xiao walks slowly towards the cave entrance. He chooses not to stay and help Sasori fight, even though they are teammates.

Everyone has different choices; Sasori may already be weary. Rashly interfering with others’ choices is an extremely selfish and arrogant act.

”Stop!”

Sakura blocks Su Xiao’s path, apparently not intending to let this villain leave easily.

”Sakura.”

Chiyo holds Sakura back, signaling her not to stop Su Xiao from leaving. One Sasori is already hard enough to handle.

”This time... consider yourselves lucky.”

Su Xiao exits the cave. Shortly after, the sounds of battle emanate from within.

At this time, Team Kai is hindered by Nagato’s sealing technique. Kakashi and Naruto are pursuing Deidara, while Sakura and Chiyo engage Sasori. This means Su Xiao currently has no enemies.

Stretching lazily, Su Xiao doesn’t plan to help Deidara. The intentions of Heavenly Dao are clear: there’s no need to capture the Nine-Tails for now, so there’s no need to get involved in the chaos.

With Bubu Wang, Su Xiao walks into a forest, scanning his surroundings.

”How are things progressing?”

It seems like Su Xiao is talking to the air, but that is not the case.

A plant resembling a vine grows from a tree trunk, with both Black and White Zetsu inside.

”Already found. Now, the reward you promised.”

Black Jue speaks, while the other half, White Zetsu, eyes closed, appears to be in a dormant state.

Su Xiao takes out a test tube from his pocket, containing a misty liquid that seems to be blood, constantly transforming between liquid and gaseous states.

This is blood from the One-Tailed Shukaku, previously collected by Su Xiao.

Su Xiao throws the test tube to Black Jue, who examines it briefly and nods after confirming it’s correct.

”I don’t know how you did it, but I can give you the information. The people you wanted me to find total 397, with three meeting your criteria: one is in the Country of Fire, one in the Hidden Mist Village, and one in the Sand Ninja Village.”

The plant that housed Black and White Zetsu slowly retracts into the tree trunk.

”By the way, don’t mention that I was here; we’re cooperating in secret.”

Leaving this behind, Black Jue disappears.

”Hidden Mist Village, Sand Ninja Village...”

Su Xiao’s face shows contemplation. He’s been to both these places, and the person he’s looking for wouldn’t be there; otherwise, the hunting function would have already activated.

”That leaves only the Country of Fire. Hey, where’s the exact location?”

”Near the border of the Country of Fire, around Heaven and Earth Bridge.”

Black Jue leaves these words before disappearing completely.

”Heaven and Earth Bridge? This guy knows how to pick a spot; he must have set his sights on Orochimaru’s lab.”

If Su Xiao is not mistaken, Er Zhuzi will soon ’eradicate’ Orochimaru, leaving Orochimaru’s lab wide open.

Su Xiao seeks out Number 10001 Violator; because the Naruto World is too vast, he can only rely on the influence of storyline characters.

Now that he has a lead, Su Xiao plans to head that way.

The Akatsuki Organization’s rules are very relaxed; without a mission, members enjoy freedom, as seen in the Undead Duo roaming the world.

Su Xiao and Bubu Wang travel neither hastily nor slowly; there’s ample time, with more than a month remaining before the main storyline’s deadline.

A clay bird swiftly flies across the sky, catching Su Xiao’s eye. It’s none other than Deidara.

”That guy’s quite carefree, hmm.”

Deidara glances down at Su Xiao without saying anything—it is clear that Deidara is intentionally ’passing by.’

Deidara maneuvers the clay bird to fly far, and moments later, two figures emerge from the forest: Naruto, showing signs of Tailed Beast Transformation, and Kakashi.

Naruto’s sole thought now is to snatch Gaara’s body from Deidara’s hands, while Kakashi aims to protect Naruto.

After all, Naruto is a Jinchuriki, and due to the conversation between Deidara and Sasori, Kakashi stays on guard.

Crack.

Wood chips fly as Naruto smashes a tree trunk, shooting towards Deidara like a cannonball.

Kakashi glances at Su Xiao below; the direction doesn’t seem to indicate an intention to engage with Su Xiao.

”That Deidara guy.”

Su Xiao grips the scabbard of Dragon Slash, drawing it swiftly.

Clang.

The blade aura flies out, severing many branches before heading towards Kakashi. Kakashi halts his forward motion and sidesteps the aura in mid-air.

The aura vanishes into the horizon, Naruto chases after Deidara and goes far, leaving Kakashi with a grim expression.

Su Xiao swings the blade, creating a flourish, and gazes at Kakashi with a smile.

”If I just let you pass, I might as well not wear this outfit ever again.”

It’s one thing for Su Xiao not to help Deidara and Sasori, but allowing enemies to pass right in front of him is different; he must be aware that Zetsu is still monitoring.

Though Black Zetsu might not leak secrets, you can’t count on White Zetsu keeping quiet.

Kakashi has no intention of fighting Su Xiao; he has a secret mission, which is to protect Naruto.

Stepping on the ground, Kakashi prepares to pursue Naruto, but after a few steps, he stops, with his Three-hooked Sharingan narrowing to the limit.

An almost imperceptible, sharp thread appears before Kakashi’s nose tip. If he continues rushing forward, it would decapitate him.

At this point, Kakashi has lost track of Naruto’s aura; Naruto has already run far away.

”This is bad.”

Kakashi’s expression worsens, shooting a cold gaze at Su Xiao.

In the original story, Kakashi shows deep care for his subordinates, but now he’s facing an enemy, and Su Xiao is that enemy.

”Seems like I can’t get past you without dealing with you first.”

Kakashi faces Su Xiao.

”That eye of yours is quite something.”

Su Xiao is unsure if directly taking the Sharingan can bring it into Reincarnation Paradise, but it’s worth testing. Even if it can’t enter Reincarnation Paradise, someone in the Akatsuki Organization would pay a high price for that eye.

”Shadow Clone Technique.”

Bam, bam, a puff of blue smoke rises, turning Kakashi into three identical people.

Su Xiao carefully perceives the three Kakashis, sensing Chakra flow in each, unable to determine which is the real body.

All three Kakashis charge at Su Xiao simultaneously, and one lets out a low shout.

”Chidori!”

Zzzt, zzzt, a hand of Kakashi wrapped in lightning, resembling the sound of thousands of birds chirping.

Logically, the Kakashi using Chidori should be the real body, but is it really that simple? Would Kakashi reveal himself so easily?

”Earth Jutsu: Decapitation in Heart Technique.”

Two hands reach from the ground beneath Su Xiao, aiming to grab his ankles.
