Chapter 592: Chapter 80: Nine Tails

Su Xiao turned his head to look at Naruto in the distance. At this moment, Naruto’s blue pupils had turned light red, and the whisker-like marks on his cheeks were more pronounced.

”Could it be...”

Su Xiao frowned. This guy was clearly provoked and was about to explode.

”Kakashi-sensei... is dead?”

Naruto’s blood-red pupils stared at Kakashi’s corpse, a pale red chakra appeared on the surface of his body, enveloping him like a flowing stream and forming a layer of the tailed beast cloak.

At this time, Naruto had already exploded into One Tail, and his consciousness began to blur. The Nine-Tails’ chakra was violently abnormal, and the more tails that exploded, the more muddled Naruto’s consciousness became. If nine chakra tails appeared behind Naruto, he would be controlled by the Nine-Tails.

Su Xiao had no interest in fighting Naruto. He could handle a Four-Tails Naruto, but anything beyond that would be a headache.

Bang~

A dark red chakra spread around Naruto, blowing away the nearby building debris as a fierce gust spread outward.

Su Xiao blocked his face with one hand. Having absorbed the chakras of two tailed beasts, his perception of tailed beast chakra was rather keen.

At this moment, he couldn’t feel Naruto’s aura at all. The ferocious chakra of the Nine-Tails completely covered Naruto.

A dark red energy orb with a diameter of six or seven meters appeared. Inside, Naruto was completely wrapped in the dark red chakra, turning into a fox-like creature.

Naruto, in his demon fox form, looked like an energy organism, and the chakra burnt his skin.

”Roar!!”

The tailed beast-transformed Naruto let out a roar to the sky, no longer showing specific facial features, with only two eye holes emitting white light and a bloody maw.

Four chakra tails swung behind Naruto. Naruto had suddenly erupted from One Tail directly to Four Tails!

Su Xiao became alert, gripping the Dragon Slash tightly in his hand.

Whoosh, whoosh~

Several figures appeared nearby; they were from Konoha’s Anbu.

”What is this?”

One Anbu member looked at Naruto, whose aura was too powerful.

”This is a tailed beast transformation Jinchuriki. Could it be the Jinchuriki attacking the village?”

”No, I recognize this chakra; it’s the Nine-Tails!”

”Go inform Lord Hokage, and say... the Jinchuriki from our village is out of control!”

One Anbu member vanished, while the remaining members kept a close watch on the tailed beast-transformed Naruto, occasionally glancing at Su Xiao.

The tailed beast-transformed Naruto squatted dazedly on the ground, his white eye sockets looking around.

At first, he swept over the Anbu members. When he was about to kill them, he caught sight of Su Xiao out of the corner of his eye.

The tailed beast-transformed Naruto suddenly felt a compulsion: he absolutely had to kill this guy.

With four limbs on the ground, like a beast, Naruto glared viciously at Su Xiao.

Noticing this, Su Xiao crouched his body slightly, his entire musculature subtly tensing.

”Here it comes.”

In a whoosh, the tailed beast-transformed Naruto vanished from the spot, the ground there smashing.

Su Xiao felt his body hair stand on end; the Four-Tails state Naruto was stronger than expected.

The tailed beast-transformed Naruto suddenly appeared in front of Su Xiao, a dark red claw reaching for Su Xiao’s head. If one observed Naruto’s back now, they would see that the dark red chakra tails had become five! The tailed beast-transformed Naruto’s surface began to show an exoskeleton.

Su Xiao formed an energy shield in front of him with a mana value strength of 200 points. The claw of the tailed beast-transformed Naruto struck the energy shield.

With a crack, the energy shield was smacked with a gap the size of a bowl’s mouth, the claw reaching for Su Xiao’s face.

Duck beneath this claw, only to find Naruto’s claw unexpectedly extended, changing its target from the face to the chest.

Splat.

Blood splashed, leaving four claw marks on Su Xiao’s chest, the wounds exceptionally deep.

A numbing sensation spread from his chest; though severely injured, Su Xiao wouldn’t just wait to die and slashed toward Naruto’s claw.

The long knife sliced, and the tailed beast-transformed Naruto felt a threat, quickly retracting the claw, the energy shield separating Su Xiao and the tailed beast-transformed Naruto.

Su Xiao immediately withdrew the energy shield, another of Naruto’s claws swung toward him, this time targeting the neck.

Positioning the Dragon Slash in front of him, the dark red claw struck the blade of the Dragon Slash, and a tremendous force came through.

While the enormous force came, Su Xiao tilted the Dragon Slash sideways, using Naruto’s power to divert the attack.

With a screech, Naruto’s claw scraped along the blade of the Dragon Slash, this powerful swipe being deflected, pushed toward the ground beside.

Boom!

Dirt flew and dust surged.

In the dust, Su Xiao stepped forward, slicing with the long knife toward the tailed beast-transformed Naruto’s chest.

Although the tailed beast transformation greatly enhanced Naruto’s strength, Naruto now was merely an unintelligent beast relying solely on brute force.

The Dragon Slash breached the air, the blade aiming at Naruto’s neck.

Now Su Xiao couldn’t bother with capturing the Jinchuriki; in a Five-Tails state, Naruto was too dangerous. A moment’s negligence risked his life.

Ding!

The long knife hit Naruto’s neck, a layer of exoskeleton blocking the blade. A new chakra tail emerged behind Naruto, making it a total of six tails.

The situation was different from when Naruto battled Orochimaru; then, Naruto burst tail by tail. Now he erupted from one directly to four and from Four-Tails to Six-Tails in under a minute.

In a Six-Tails state, even the Heavenly Dao would be pressured, and Su Xiao experienced firsthand that the Nine-Tails and other tailed beasts were on entirely different levels.

Su Xiao seriously doubted that even if the other eight tailed beasts combined, they wouldn’t be a match for a complete Nine-Tails.

Keep in mind, the Nine-Tails inside Naruto now was only half; the other half was sealed by the Fourth Hokage.

”Roar!!”

The tailed beast-transformed Naruto roared in dissatisfaction with a blade against his neck.

Su Xiao switched from holding the knife with one hand to two, putting all his strength into a downward slash.

Clang.

The long knife swept through, breaking the exoskeleton, and with a single cut, the tailed beast-transformed Naruto was slashed at the throat.

This cut was incredibly deep, and the blue steel shadow energy annihilated the tailed beast chakra around Naruto’s neck. Su Xiao could already see Naruto’s windpipe.

The chakra on Naruto’s surface surged, the wound healing rapidly. In less than two seconds, the wound on Naruto’s neck was completely healed.

Su Xiao watched, his eye twitching. The tailed beast-transformed Naruto, in terms of power, speed, and recovery ability, all crushed him. If not for his sword skills and battle experience, he wouldn’t last even a single round.

”Shinra Tensei.”

An impact pushed Su Xiao far away, both he and the tailed beast-transformed Naruto rolling in tumbling turns, with Heavenly Dao arriving.

”Already found the Nine-Tails? Very well.”

Heavenly Dao looked expressionlessly at the tailed beast-transformed Naruto, not yet aware of how strong the creature was.

”Then let’s start the capture.”

”Wait.”

Su Xiao spoke up, and Heavenly Dao looked at him with some confusion.

”First deal with the Nine-Tails’ reinforcements, then handle the Nine-Tails. Now they’re afraid to act due to fear of being caught in Nine-Tails’ attacks, but after Nine-Tails falls, they’ll strike.”

Su Xiao raised his chin slightly, and Heavenly Dao turned his head to see, as the Fifth Hokage Tsunade and Sakura and others arrived.

”Bai Ye, hold off the Nine-Tails for 2 minutes for me.”

Heavenly Dao stood still as the Chikushodo on the village’s outskirts abandoned its current enemies, beginning to retreat outside Konoha.

After Chikushodo broke through the edges of Konoha’s barrier, it pressed a hand onto the ground.

Bang~

White smoke billowed as the other four Pains, except Heavenly Dao, were summoned nearby by the Chikushodo. Now only Su Xiao and Heavenly Dao remained inside Konoha.

After Chikushodo quickly formed a seal, it slammed its hand onto the ground.

”Summoning Technique.”

Once again, white smoke rose, and a giant, strange bird with a beak like a sharp spike emerged.

The strange bird spread its wings and flew straight toward Su Xiao’s location.
