Chapter 566: Chapter 54: The Cell

Although Obito has already spoken and fought against Su Xiao, Su Xiao wouldn’t be foolish enough to call out Obito’s real name. If he did, today it would be a fight to the death, and any transaction would be completely off the table.

”What do you want?”

Obito knows he can’t take the Sharingan by force. Even if he were to fight to the death with Su Xiao and ultimately kill him, Su Xiao would definitely destroy the Sharingan before dying.

”Let’s talk elsewhere.”

Su Xiao stomped on the ground and sprinted towards the outskirts of the city.

”Stop, men, capture those two thieves!”

A large group of guards chased after Su Xiao, while some surrounded Obito. As for our Bu Bu, it had already mixed in with the guards and was ’chasing’ Su Xiao along with them.

Ten minutes later, in a ruin near Daimyo City.

The area was filled with rubble, and amidst the rubble was dense wild grass. From some building remnants, one could vaguely discern the grandeur this ruin once had.

When wanting to trade in a lawless place, the strength of both parties needs to be the same or close; otherwise, the trade would never happen.

The Naruto World obviously has no laws, and the Law of the Forest prevails here. Wanting to trade with Obito, especially for a Sharingan significant to him, a fight is a necessary process.

After waiting for a few minutes within the ruins, a spatial vortex formed nearby, and Obito appeared.

”Continuing our previous topic, what do you want?”

Obito sat on a giant rock, seemingly not planning to continue fighting with Su Xiao.

”What do I want?”

Su Xiao waved his finger: ”It should be what you’re willing to offer. To me, it doesn’t matter who I trade this eye with, so name your price.”

Obito hesitated for a moment.

”I can give you a secret technique.”

Su Xiao’s eyebrow raised; indeed, Obito was generous, offering a secret technique right off the bat.

”Not interested.”

”Then what do you want?”

Obito’s eyes narrowed, killing intent emanating.

”What do I want? Since you can use Wood Jutsu... I want the original Hashirama cells!”

As soon as Su Xiao said this, Obito was stunned, seemingly recalling something, and his fist tightened under his sleeve.

”Impossible. Ordinary Hashirama cells I can give you, but the original Hashirama cells can only be obtained when Hashirama Senju was alive.”

”Forget it then, I’ll find another buyer.”

Su Xiao stood up to leave, but Obito certainly wouldn’t allow that.

”Wait, I have the original Hashirama cells, but that can’t be exchanged for just one Sharingan.”

Su Xiao was stunned; he had just made a high demand as part of the bargaining stage. The concept of ’original Hashirama cells’ was something he saw in Orochimaru’s experimental data.

The original Hashirama cells are different from the first-generation cells obtained from corpses. The original Hashirama cells have stronger vitality and are harder to control. Obito, Danzo, and others transplanted ordinary first-generation cells, which were obtained from Hashirama’s body after he died.

These first-generation cells had reduced vitality. That’s why an experimental subject like Yamato could only perform lifeless trash Wood Jutsu, as he had transplanted the Hashirama cells extracted after Hashirama’s death.

One person’s body had fused with the original Hashirama cells, and his name was Uchiha Madara. This was why his Sharingan could evolve into the Rinnegan.

The cellular activity inside a living person and a dead one is certainly different. Orochimaru thought of this, which led to the concept of the original Hashirama cells.

Su Xiao didn’t expect that Obito really had the original Hashirama cells. He hadn’t considered it; it seemed Madara’s legacy was quite substantial, enough to make one speechless.

”I can give you the original Hashirama cells, but in return, not only the Sharingan, you must also do something for me.”

”What?”

Obito jumped down from the giant rock and whispered a few words.

A few minutes later, Obito finished stating his requirements.

”Are you eyeing the eyes of those two brothers?”

Su Xiao was a bit puzzled as to why Obito needed so many Sharingan.

”No, I want to cultivate a chess piece, one filled with hatred and strong enough. The elder brother among the two clearly can’t be used, but the younger brother can be. Help me accomplish this, and the original Hashirama cells are yours.”

Su Xiao pondered for a while and shook his head.

”I can do that for you, but I want the original Hashirama cells now. The Sharingan can be yours now.”

”Agreed.”

Obito agreed, surprising Su Xiao once again. He felt something amiss, but couldn’t pinpoint it at the moment,

’Immortal Eyes’ versus ’Immortal Body,’ Su Xiao favors ’Immortal Body’ more. Besides, this Sharingan can’t be taken out of the Derivative World, unlike the original Hashirama cells obtained from the trade with Obito. Such acquired items have over 90% chance of being certified by Reincarnation Paradise.

”Wait here for me.”

The space near Obito twisted, and Obito disappeared.

After half an hour of waiting, spatial fluctuations occurred, and Obito appeared, holding a test tube containing an emerald green solution, a specially preserved original Hashirama cell.

”Three.”

Obito spoke, and Su Xiao immediately understood his intentions; it was due to caution against his close-combat skills and reluctance to approach him.

”Two.”

This time, it was Su Xiao speaking.

”One.”

”One.”

The two simultaneously threw out the Sharingan and the original Hashirama cells.

Su Xiao caught the original Hashirama cells, and a prompt from Reincarnation Paradise appeared.

...

After reviewing the attributes of Hashirama cells, Su Xiao’s eye twitched; what kind of nonsense is this 1% Wood Jutsu?

”Ah Fei, how about we trade back?”

Obito remained silent, and with the emergence and disappearance of spatial fluctuations, he fled!

”Sure enough, this guy doesn’t care about the Hashirama cells.”

The original Hashirama cells are good stuff, but they’re dangerous. Obito had merely contacted them with his skin once, and he was almost devoured by the first-generation cells, turning into wood. If it weren’t for Vortex Bai Jue suppressing it, Obito would have turned into a tree before even making a mark.

Su Xiao speculated that the 1% chance is reserved for those with special constitutions. If he used the Hashirama cells, the most likely result would be a battle between Blue Steel Shadow Energy and Hashirama cells.

This vial of Hashirama cells might be trash to others, but Su Xiao is proficient in pharmacology, and with Orochimaru’s painstaking research data as a reference, modifying the Hashirama cells might not be impossible.

He doesn’t care about achieving Wood Jutsu; he seeks the powerful life energy and recovery power of the Hashirama cells. If he can find a way to eliminate Wood Jutsu energy, what’s left would be pure life energy.

This isn’t an impossible task, and from what Su Xiao knows, Orochimaru has already succeeded.
