Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1280: Chapter 1279: I Completely Forgot About That!!

The Aoko of today is no longer the magic novice she once was. She’s heard the rumors between the Mage’s Association and the World Tree of a Thousand Realms— in fact, the whole magic world has heard of it. The World Tree openly raised the flag of rebellion against the Mage’s Association, and the Association found themselves helpless, with all the magicians they sent failing miserably. In the end, they had to humiliatingly offer a huge compensation.

If it weren’t for the World Tree later responding to Fang Zheng’s new strategy by moving to East Asia, the Mage’s Association would have been even more severely hit.

Aoko doesn’t have strong feelings for or against the Mage’s Association, but when it comes to the World Tree, things are rather different...

”You’re with the World Tree?”

”More or less, you can understand the World Tree as being under my protection.”

Sitting on the sofa, Fang Zheng proudly nodded his head, while Aoko’s expression grew even more troubled.

”The world is so big, why did you all come to Japan?”

”Because there are certain things we’ll find easier to accomplish here, not to mention that the Mage’s Association’s influence doesn’t reach this far, making it suitable for us to develop our power. Originally, if someone hadn’t suddenly turned into a Mage, it wouldn’t have been so troublesome...”

At this, Fang Zheng curled his lips.

Upon hearing this, Aoko could no longer hold back.

”Why don’t you go to the other side? A single province there is bigger than our whole country!”

”Unfortunately, private land purchases aren’t allowed there. I even wanted to buy Mount Fuji for the view.”

”Then go to Siberia!”

”That desolate place doesn’t even have people. If I can come to Japan, why should I go to Siberia?”

”What if I don’t agree?”

”Then I’ll just have to chase you away.”

Fang Zheng helplessly spread his hands, looking towards Aoko.

”The World Tree needs to establish dominance here anyway—how about chasing away a Mage for that effect?”

”This is my home!!!”

Aoko was so angry she nearly jumped.

”This is outright robbery!”

”Where’s the robbery? Am I not negotiating with you? You’re the one who suggested a different punishment. Or should we stick to the original one?”

As he spoke, Fang Zheng once again reached out to pick up the beast-ear costume and school swimsuit beside him, waving them at Aoko.

”Feel free to choose. After all, I’m not a devil.”

”..........”

Upon hearing this, Aoko’s face turned an even deeper shade of green. After hesitating for a moment, she finally sighed helplessly.

”Alright, alright. I’ll leave it be, just make sure they don’t come to Misaki Town!”

”Of course, we have our own plans.”

Fang Zheng naturally wouldn’t position the World Tree’s base in Misaki Town. The World Tree’s industry layout in East Asia was meticulously planned, with raw materials on one side and on this side... well, Fang Zheng intended to step into the domain of education.

That’s right, education.

This was something Fang Zheng contemplated after becoming the God of Magical Girls. To foster ”Magical Girls” across various worlds, he would need many ”believers.” Moreover, Magical Girls, as girls who wield magic, naturally needed enemies and opponents.

In Akemi Homura’s world, Magical Girls currently fight against Nightmares—creatures born from the darkness within human souls.

However, in this world, Fang Zheng decided to designate the enemies of Magical Girls as... the Mage’s Association.

Indeed.

Previously, Fang Zheng merely appreciated the ideals of the World Tree, but now, he had the power to turn ideals into reality. No longer needing Magic Crests, but instead using Magitech Devices to become Magitech Mentors, the new magic would integrate with the world’s Magecraft... a new ascent meant the destruction of the old.

Magical Girls in this world wouldn’t be as innocent as Little Sakura and Nanoha. They would become revolutionaries, overthrow the old ruling class, and establish a new magic system. Just as Fiore said, Magical Girls in this world would become a type of Magician, akin to Wizards or Alchemists as a profession.

Thus, Fang Zheng planned to establish or acquire some schools in Japan to enhance the World Tree’s combat strength. As for whether these Magical Girls would oppose the Mage’s Association’s Magicians, Fang Zheng wasn’t worried at all. The Mage’s Association itself was a shady organization, with countless dark histories. Not to mention, just the concept of Sealing Designation was enough for Fang Zheng to critique them for a lifetime.

Fang Zheng even devised a storyline— in an all-girls high school, the protagonist A meets transfer student B, and they become friends. However, B is suddenly attacked by a mysterious stranger. At that critical moment, their classmate C unexpectedly appears and transforms into a Magical Girl, repelling the enemy.

Afterward, the protagonists learn from classmate C that they were attacked because they were born with a unique power, leading the evil organization known as the Mage’s Association to perform Sealing Designation. To fight against this evil organization, the girls become Magical Girls and embark on a brand-new war...

Hmm, this script looks promising. If a few more CPs (character pairs) are added, it might be able to last three or four seasons, with two film versions in between!

”Then it’s settled.”

After deciding, Fang Zheng waved his hand planning to leave, but Yuzhu lifted her head and stared at her.

”You’re leaving again?”

”Well... you see, I’m pretty busy, after all, with so many things...”

Facing Yuzhu, Fang Zheng was momentarily at a loss for words. She could sense Yuzhu seemed to want her to stay, but... to be honest, transforming to fool people briefly was one thing, but to live as Red Ponytail 24/7 was a bit much.

”Once everything is settled, I’ll come back to see you.”

”Alright.”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s assurance, Yuzhu seemed to accept her proposal and slightly nodded. Then, curiously, Yuzhu looked at Red Ponytail before her.

”Little Hong, where’s that Fantasy Species?”

”Hmm? What Fantasy Species?”

Hearing Yuzhu’s inquiry, Fang Zheng was momentarily confused. What Fantasy Species? He had no memory of it.

”It was the Golden Wolf you defeated when I was attacked previously.”

Yuzhu calmly reminded Fang Zheng before curiously asking again.

”I didn’t see it by your side...”

”Ah... I recall now, yes, I left it somewhere else. If you hadn’t mentioned it, I would have forgotten...”

Hearing this, Fang Zheng suddenly slapped his forehead, remembering—indeed, he had used a Master Ball to capture a Golden Wolf here!

”Well, I have some matters to attend to, so I’ll take my leave for now. See you next time!”

After saying this, Fang Zheng waved to the two of them before disappearing in a flash. Aoko watched Fang Zheng’s departing figure angrily, and after she was entirely gone, she sighed.

”Is this really okay, Yuzhu?”

”What are you talking about?”

Yuzhu looked down again, flipping through the novel in her hands.

”That guy.”

Aoko frowned, her expression serious.

”You mentioned before that this Little Hong’s origins are unknown, yet she possesses such immense power... I’m a Mage! Yet I stood no chance against her!? Do you think this is normal? Who exactly is she? Aren’t you even a bit worried?”

”Not worried.”

As she turned a page of the novel, Yuzhu calmly answered Aoko’s inquiry again.

”To me, she’s just Little Hong, it’s as simple as that.”

Hearing Yuzhu’s answer, Aoko was rendered speechless, letting out a long sigh.

”Haah... alright, alright, since you say so, I won’t say anything further... As it seems, she probably isn’t coming to cause us trouble...”
