Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1255: Chapter 1254: The Other Side of the Parallel (Continued)

”How many people have you caught?”

Upon hearing the report from Illya, Fang Zheng was completely baffled.

”Are you planning to give someone to Fate and Elysia as a birthday gift?”

”This... of course not... MASTER... actually, it’s like this...”

While speaking, Illya quickly recounted the course of events to Fang Zheng, and at this moment, Fang Zheng immediately understood.

”I see, I get it...”

After listening to Illya, Fang Zheng knew what was going on.

Looks like the Book of Night Sky is about to make an appearance...

Fang Zheng certainly didn’t forget about this plot, it’s just that back in Akemi Homura’s Magical Girl World, being the God of Magical Girls was quite overwhelming, so Fang Zheng thought he’d take it slow. In his view, even if the Book of Night Sky woke up, it would be a matter for later, and it would be better to handle it slowly then.

But for now...

”MASTER, what should we do now?”

”Leave it to you to handle yourselves.”

Fang Zheng mischievously offered a suggestion, which left Illya stunned.

”Huh? MASTER, what did you say?”

”Since you guys caught them, you handle it. You all know the rules and regulations of Heavenly Dao Palace. Natsuse, Midori, and Tina are also there. You can discuss how to resolve this with Nanoha, Little Sakura, and Shisei. I’m giving you full responsibility, whether you lock them up, let them go, or kill them, it’s up to you.”

”But, but MASTER...”

”That’s it, I have important matters to attend to. I’ll be waiting to see how you handle it.”

After saying this, Fang Zheng decisively cut off the communication, leaving Illya dumbfounded holding the terminal, then she helplessly walked out of the room.

”Illya? What did the teacher say?”

Seeing Illya walk out, Nanoha quickly asked, but Illya sighed gloomily.

”MASTER said since we caught them, we should handle it ourselves.”

”Huh?!”

Upon hearing this, all the girls present were stunned.

Although during the battle, they were all exuberant and excited, most of the girls were thinking, ”Let’s hand these guys over to Fang Zheng after catching them.” But what they didn’t expect was that Fang Zheng didn’t give them direct advice this time and left it to them to handle.

”W-What should we do?”

Nanoha was suddenly flustered, and Little Sakura was also at a loss, with the others remaining silent.

”Mr. Fang Zheng wants us to handle it ourselves, but how should we deal with it...”

”Come on, do you really have to be like this?”

Seeing this, Shana finally couldn’t hold back.

”Fang Zheng, Fang Zheng all day long, if Fang Zheng’s not around, can you guys not even eat? It’s such a trivial matter, is it really necessary to be like this?”

”Well, that’s easy to say, but...”

Facing Shana’s complaint, the girls didn’t know what to say for a moment. They understood they couldn’t always rely on Fang Zheng, but since they had always done so, and considering their age... they really weren’t at the point of being independent yet.

After all, they were different from someone like Shana, who seemed eternally youthful.

”Uhm... should we just lock them up?”

”But is it okay to keep them here? They’ll surely try to escape once they wake up.”

Hearing Nanoha’s suggestion, Midori curiously asked. Right now, everyone was in Fang Family’s home in this world, and the four attackers were completely unconscious due to a direct hit from Starlight Burst. At least for a while, they wouldn’t be waking up.

But if things continued, it was hard to say what would happen next.

More importantly, today was Fate and Elysia’s birthday; they couldn’t just skip their friends’ birthday party to stay here because of these people.

However, releasing them like this felt highly irresponsible...

”Hey, I’m here, what’s going on?”

At this moment, the door opened, and an amused Anzu walked in.

”Anzu? You’re here too?”

”Yep, I’m not late, am I? There was a bit of trouble in my world that I just sorted out... what’s up with you guys? Weren’t we going to celebrate Fate and Elysia’s birthday today?”

”Well...”

Facing Anzu’s curious inquiry, they exchanged looks, then Illya once again explained the situation to Anzu. After listening, Anzu confidently patted her chest.

”I thought it was something big, leave it to me!”

”Anzu, do you have a solution?”

On hearing this, the girls perked up, and Anzu nodded.

”That’s right, you don’t want to let them go, and you don’t want to kill them, right? Easy, let me chop off their arms and legs so they can’t move anymore, then you can do whatever you want with them... how about that?”

”.........”

Hearing this, the girls’ expressions changed dramatically.

”Anzu... that’s a bit too...”

”I think it’s a good idea.”

This time, Shana, fearing nothing would go wrong, chipped in.

”Since you can’t think of a better plan, why not just do it this way!”

”No, this won’t work, absolutely not...”

The girls shook their heads vigorously at this suggestion; there was no way they could bring themselves to do something like that!

But at this moment, Shisei came up with a suggestion.

”Is there a way to temporarily prevent them from using their powers? If so, they wouldn’t be able to escape so easily...”

”Well... hold on, I actually have...”

Upon hearing this, Shana reached into her black coat, retrieved a few golden chains.

”What’s this?”

”Noble Phantasms used to seal powers. With these on, they’re no different from ordinary people. If you confiscate their Magitech Devices and put these chains on them, it should solve the problem.”

”Then let’s do that.”

Natsuse gave her answer.

”Right now, celebrating Fate and Elysia’s birthday is what’s important. We can only temporarily keep them here; we’ll take care of their Magitech Devices and question them about the attack after the party.”

”Alright, let’s do it.”

Upon hearing this, the girls nodded in agreement, as Natsuse’s suggestion was clearly more reliable than Anzu’s. After making a decision, Shisei clapped her hands.

”So, that’s decided, let’s prepare and head to Fate and Elysia’s birthday party!”
