Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1254: Chapter 1253: The Other Side of Parallelism (Part 4)

Error!

Shamar stared at her hands in surprise. She hadn’t caught the Core of Psychokinesis as she had intended, but grasped at air instead!

But in any case, this was an opportunity.

”Vita, Hegnam, Zafira, quickly...!”

However, before Shamar could finish her words, she suddenly felt a pang of anxiety and tension.

This was a sign of danger!

Not good!

Shamar hurriedly tried to withdraw and evade, but at that moment, a bullet had already shot through the gaps of the tall building, aimed at her.

”Bang!!”

The Psionic explosive bullet detonated the moment it hit Shamar, with the berserk and rampant Psionic force howling and spreading out, and Shamar let out a scream as she spun and was flung away like a piece of wood thrown into a whirlpool.

”Shamar!”

At this moment, Vita and the others also noticed their comrade’s unusual situation and immediately became anxious.

”Get out of my way!”

”Don’t even think about it!!”

This time, when faced with Vita’s attack once again, Nanoha directly confronted her, wielding the Heart of the Rising Sun to block Vita.

You attacked us, hurt my friend, and now you want to run away?

You are courting death!

”Move!!”

Looking at Nanoha blocking her way, Vita’s expression grew increasingly furious. Meanwhile, Nanoha gripped the Heart of the Rising Sun tightly, but it was at this moment when Shisei’s voice suddenly came to Nanoha’s ears.

”Nanoha, leave this girl to Illya, I have something important that needs your help!”

”Haaaah!”

At that moment, with a roar, the transformed Illya descended from the sky, wielding a katana and slashing forcefully at Vita. Now, she was no longer wearing her earlier navy uniform but a white and green kimono-like outfit.

”Nanoha, leave this to me!”

”Alright!”

Hearing Illya’s words, Nanoha nodded, and then quickly leaped up into the air. Vita attempted to withdraw, but Illya, with a swift blade, blocked her path again.

”Your opponent is me!”

”Back off!!”

Now concerned about Shamar, Vita’s eyes turned red as she roared, lifting her hammer to strike hard at Illya. In response to Vita’s attack, Illya dodged to get close, and the blade in her hand turned into a series of lightning strikes, thrusting straight at the girl in front of her.

”Clang clang clang!!”

The bright red Protective Barrier appeared in front of Vita once more, blocking Illya’s first and second strikes. However, as Illya’s third strike pierced out, the Magic Barrier in front of Vita shattered. Immediately after, the swinging hammer and the flashing blade started a new round of clashes.

Meanwhile, the battle between Hegnam and Shana continued.

”You won’t let us go no matter what?”

Looking at Shana in front of her, Hegnam coldly said, while Shana raised her eyebrows.

”If you’re willing to lay down your weapons and surrender, everything can be discussed. But if you continue to resist, don’t blame me for being ruthless!”

”In that case, there’s no choice! I admit you’re strong, but... facing a Belka Knight one-on-one, you’re still far from it!”

Saying this, Hegnam forcefully swung her longsword, pushing Shana back. Then, she gripped her longsword, staring at Shana.

”In that case, I... Hegnam, the Knight of Belka, will deliver the final strike! Little girl, your name is...?”

Hearing Hegnam’s inquiry, Shana also raised her weapon, staring back.

”I am ’Catastrophic Fire’ Alastor’s Fire Mist Warrior, the Crusader of the Fiery Eye—Shana!”

”Very well...”

Facing Shana’s response, Hegnam nodded, then opened her eyes and roared angrily.

”Flame Demon Sword!”

With Hegnam’s roar, her longsword suddenly loaded with a Magic Bullet, and then the entire sword began to burn. Meanwhile, Shana tightly gripped the Great Katana in her hand, the bright red Power of Existence igniting.

The two sides stared at each other for a moment, then exploded into action, rushing towards each other, raising the longswords in their hands, and swung forward!

”Zidian Flash!”

”Judgement!”

With a roar, the blazing Flame of Existence and the Flame Blade of magic clashed heavily!

”Boom—————!!”

The violent shockwave erupted again, Shamar clumsily weaving through the buildings, trying to escape the unknown sniping. However, it was all for naught, as bullets seemed to lock onto her like hunting dogs on prey, chasing relentlessly wherever she hid.

She must think of a way.

Looking at her trembling hands, Shamar was already weary. She was never good at combat; protection and support were her fortes. Generally, a knight would protect her at such times, but now, Hegnam, Zafira, and Vita were all unable to assist, and yet the enemy seemed to have locked onto her long ago.

She couldn’t continue like this; carrying on would only lead to total annihilation. She needed a plan... if necessary, there was only this!

Thinking of this, Shamar made a decision, yet before she could signal her companions on what to do next, another bullet shattered the glass and shot towards her.

But this time, to Shamar’s surprise, the bullet did not harm her as before. Instead, just as Shamar prepared herself, this bullet suddenly exploded, forming arcs of electricity that imprisoned her like a cage.

What is this?

Looking at the electric cage in front of her, Shamar was momentarily stunned but quickly reconnected with Vita and the others.

”Vita, Hegnam, Zafira, you all... huh?”

It was only then that Shamar was shocked to find her connection with the others seemed to have been cut off?!

Realizing this, Shamar was taken aback.

”Not good!”

”All according to plan.”

Seeing the glowing points on the map, Shisei nodded and then turned to Nanoha.

”Are you ready, Nanoha?”

”Absolutely!”

Hearing Shisei’s question, Nanoha tightened her grip on the Heart of the Rising Sun and nodded.

”I’m ready!”

At this moment, Vita, Hegnam, and Zafira also managed to barely shake off their opponents, flying towards Shamar. They were very worried about their comrade, especially after losing contact with Shamar earlier, which left them even more uneasy.

At present, all three were in poor condition; Hegnam’s armor was charred black by Shana’s Flame of Existence, Vita’s clothing was slashed by Illya’s blade, and Zafira was in no better state — having just escaped from Yoshino’s blizzard and Natsuse’s Psionic Storm, almost beaten to death. The elder man’s hair still stood comically, as if frozen.

Though at some cost, they finally freed themselves from their opponents’ entanglement. Now, they only needed to find Shamar and then take her away... as for attacks, they could discuss that next time!

However, those girls were still stubbornly trailing behind them, making it difficult to shake them off completely...

”Shamar!”

Soon, the three saw Shamar sitting atop a building’s roof, but contrary to their expectations, Shamar was not dead; instead, she was surrounded by something. Seeing the three, Shamar hurriedly raised her hands, shouting to say something, but they couldn’t hear a word.

”Let me!”

With urgency in the air, no one paid attention to what Shamar was saying. Hegnam swung her sword, easily slicing through the Thunder Barrier that bound Shamar; only then did Shamar’s voice reach their ears.

”Run, it’s a trap!”

”Trap?”

Hearing Shamar’s exclamation, everyone was taken aback. They turned their heads, surprised to see that the girls who had been relentlessly pursuing them now seemed to have received some command, retreating simultaneously?!

What... is going on?

However, as everyone puzzled over this, Vita looked up in amazement, pointing to the sky.

”Look, what’s that?!”

With Vita’s shout, the three hurriedly raised their heads to look into the sky.

Then they saw... those shining pink stars.

At the same time, Nanoha forcefully swung down the Heart of the Rising Sun in her hand.

”Star light breaker!”

In the next instant, a raging torrent of magic power descended from the sky, engulfing all four of them entirely.
