Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1279: Chapter 1278: Losing Is Absolutely Impossible

The same time, the same place.

”Are you ready, Little Hong?”

Aoko Aozaki stood there smugly, looking eager to fight.

”This time I’ll definitely beat you up!”

Oh, planning a comeback? Just you?

Fang Zheng twitched the corner of his mouth as he looked at Aoko.

”So, what are the rules this time?”

”You decide.”

Aoko generously handed over the power to set the rules to Red Ponytail in front of her. In her view, since she had awakened as a mage, she was bound to win. So she didn’t mind giving this arrogant little girl a little bit of convenience.

”Alright then.”

Fang Zheng wouldn’t refuse; if you’re foolish, don’t blame others for being sharp. That’s the truth of the world.

”Well... let’s make it the same as last time. If I can hit you, I win.”

As he spoke, Fang Zheng held out a finger.

”Just one strike this time.”

”You......”

Hearing this, Aoko immediately raised her eyebrows and glared at her fiercely. Then she rolled her eyes and nodded.

”Okay, just one strike. No best of three this time!”

”Last time was the same... Hmm, let’s go with this.”

As he said this, Fang Zheng took a few steps in the garden and casually picked up a branch. Seeing this, Aoko was stunned.

”Are you going to use that?”

”Of course.”

Fang Zheng waved the branch in his hand, shaking off the leaves.

”I’ve mastered the Nine Yang Divine Art; all things can be a sword, and flowers and leaves can hurt. Don’t underestimate this branch. If I infuse my inner strength, it’s sharper than the Sword of Heaven! Under my Nine Swords of Dugu, no one can withstand a single move!”

”??? ”

Hearing this, Aoko was utterly confused.

”What are you talking about?”

”I’m just talking casually, so listen casually.”

As he spoke, Fang Zheng raised the branch with a smug smile.

”Ready?”

”Of course!”

Activating the magic circuits within her body, Aoko confidently looked ahead.

”Bring it on... Hey?”

However, before Aoko could finish her words, she saw the Red Ponytail in front of her suddenly disappear. The next moment, a whistling wind sounded from behind her.

Behind!

At this moment, Aoko hesitated no more and immediately unleashed her power. But to her surprise, at that moment, a branch had already struck her backside mercilessly.

”Smack!”

”Aaaah!!”

Feeling the pain, Aoko screamed and jumped, clutching her backside. She quickly turned around, and when she did, she found no one behind her. Yet, at that very moment, a hot sensation exploded again on her backside.

”Smack!”

”Wow!!”

”Smack smack!!”

”Smack smack smack smack!!!”

”Stop stop stop!!!”

Screaming loudly, Aoko quickly retreated to Yuzhu’s side, rubbing her backside while glaring at the Red Ponytail gleefully looking at her with a branch in her hand.

”What, what’s going on?!”

”Hm? What are you talking about?”

”How can I not catch you... Who are you, really?!”

Rubbing her backside, Aoko gasped in pain, her expression awkward but her eyes serious.

As an inheritor of the Fifth Magic, she knew well the power of the Fifth Magic, a formidable power capable of controlling time. In fact, during the previous battle, Aoko’s plan was to directly use the Fifth Magic to imprison Little Hong, so she could take her revenge.

However, when Aoko unleashed her power, she was shocked to discover one thing.

She couldn’t find the existence of her opponent on the Time Axis!

She was clearly there, but with the support of the Fifth Magic, Aoko couldn’t find that girl’s presence in the past, present, or future of the Time Axis! Logically, if she didn’t exist on the Time Axis, she shouldn’t exist at all. But the truth was that Little Hong not only existed but also spanked her with that damn branch!

How is this possible?

”Heh heh.”

Hearing Aoko’s questions, Fang Zheng chuckled.

”There are always people beyond people, heavens beyond heavens. Don’t think holding the Fifth Magic makes you invincible. Now you understand. There are still people out there who can deal with you.”

Indeed, Aoko was now the holder of the Fifth Magic, but would Fang Zheng take her seriously?

In fact, before coming here, Fang Zheng had already considered it. Mages of this world were at most demigods in the Main World, whereas Fang Zheng was a quasi-god; it was like temporary workers versus permanent employees. Moreover, Fang Zheng was a Time Dragon, and now an adult Time Dragon, one that naturally transcended time. Others might have ways to battle Fang Zheng, but Aoko Aozaki, with her power of time, trying to compete with a Time Dragon on the Time Axis was simply insane... It’s a wonder if your backside doesn’t get a spanking!

”Alright, a bet is a bet. Accept your loss.”

Fang Zheng tossed away the branch, smiling at Aoko, whose expression kept changing until her eyes brightened.

”I refuse to accept!”

”Oh? So what?”

”I deny it! Now that I’m a mage, you can’t trick me with that Word Spirit, Little Hong!! Hahaha!!”

Laughing, Aoko pointed at Fang Zheng.

”So what if I deny it, what can you do... Hey?”

However, before she could finish, her expression suddenly changed, and her eyes twitched.

”This... is.......”

”You ask what I can do to you?”

At this moment, Fang Zheng stepped toward Aoko, still smiling.

”The answer is simple, like this... I don’t need any Word Spirit to handle you. You can feel it, right...”

”You... you stopped my time?!”

”Correct. If you don’t accept, try breaking free.”

Saying this, Fang Zheng raised his right hand with a grin.

”Look, I’m ready with a Dog Ear Outfit, tail, collar... oh, and here are your school swimsuits. You’re ready, right?”

”Wa-wait...!”

Horrified as she looked at the school swimsuits in the girl’s hand, Aoko’s face turned green. As Fang Zheng said, she tried desperately to break free of the restraint, but to her shock, despite her efforts, she couldn’t budge an inch!

How can this be? I’m supposed to be the mage here!

”I......”

Seeing the Red Ponytail nearing her side, Aoko finally bit her lip and made up her mind.

”I surrender! I surrender!!”

”Surrender? You’d already lost?”

”No, what I mean is... can I change the punishment? This is a bit embarrassing......”

Saying this, Aoko’s face reddened slightly. Last time she fell for the trick because she was only an apprentice mage, not yet well-versed in the craft. But now, as a mage inheriting the Fifth Magic, getting stripped down to wear those embarrassing clothes and making strange faces would be utterly humiliating!

”Change it?”

Hearing Aoko’s words, Fang Zheng stopped, frowned in thought for a moment, then nodded.

”Alright, then how about this... There’s a family looking to buy a Spirit Vein in Japan as a base, and I’d like you to help keep an eye on it. Is that okay?”

”No problem, no problem.”

Hearing this, Aoko nodded eagerly like a pecking chicken, while Fang Zheng turned to Yuzhu.

”You heard it too, Yuzhu?”

”Yes.”

Yuzhu nodded, agreeing to be the witness for them both. Fang Zheng then snapped his fingers, and the time surrounding Aoko began to flow again. Aoko breathed a sigh of relief.

”I didn’t expect you to need my help, Little Hong. Which family is it?”

”World Tree of a Thousand Realms, have you heard of it?”

”World... Tree......”

At this, Aoko was momentarily stunned before glaring at Fang Zheng with determination.

”You tricked me!”
