Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1277: Chapter 1276: Are You Kidding Me?

The reason for Fiore’s misunderstanding was because Fang Zheng had a very serious expression when handing her the ring — well, don’t get the wrong idea, it wasn’t because Fang Zheng had any ill intentions towards Fiore, but because... strictly speaking, if everything went well, then Fiore would become the first ”Magical Girl” developed by Fang Zheng since he became a deity.

Yes, the very first one.

Akemi Homura doesn’t count as Fang Zheng’s believer; she’s just an Enchanted of the Time Dragon, belonging to the Dragonborn.

And Hayate Yagami became a Magical Girl through her contract with the ancient Book of Night Sky from Belka, so she isn’t counted either.

As for Sakurazawa Kyoko and Mami Tomoe, although they are Fang Zheng’s Magical Girls, they joined halfway through.

Illya, Little Hei, Nanoha, Fate, and Little Sakura were originally Magical Girls.

So, up until now, as the ”God of Magical Girls,” the first believer developed by Fang Zheng is Fiore.

Of course, that is, if everything goes smoothly.

”Take this ring, put it on your finger, then close your eyes, sense its existence, and then activate it.”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s command, Fiore obediently took the ring, put it on the index finger of her right hand, and then closed her eyes. As a magician, Fiore was no stranger to various kinds of Magic Formal Wear; in her view, this ring might also be a type of Magic Formal Wear.

So following Fang Zheng’s words, Fiore infused Magic Power and began activating the ring.

Very soon, her body began to emit a beautiful, pure white Radiance, and then, Fiore slowly floated into the air.

”Feel the will in your heart, speak the incantation!”

”Transform!”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s words, Fiore hesitated for a moment but quickly spoke up. Soon, Fang Zheng saw a pure white Light Orb envelop Fiore within it.

However, this time, it was completely different from before.

Through the Light Orb, Fang Zheng could see everything happening inside; the clothes Fiore was wearing suddenly shattered and disappeared. Then she slowly raised her arms as pure white Light Beams wound around her arms like threads, followed by that well-proportioned body, legs, and pure white glass shoes...

Well, that’s about the only benefit...

While appreciating the transformation scene in front of him, Fang Zheng mused to himself. Speaking of the benefits Fang Zheng has gained from becoming the God of Magical Girls, the most obvious one is that Fang Zheng can directly observe the transformation of a Magical Girl through the outer Light Orb at close range.

Although strictly speaking, it’s not something particularly meaningful...

But at least it gives Fang Zheng a bit of a perk.

When the Radiance faded, Fiore was already standing steadily on the ground.

At this moment, she was wearing a magnificent, pure white gown, looking as if she was about to attend a ball, and Fiore’s right hand was clad in an elbow-length glove adorned with various gemstones and outlined with luxurious patterns of gold and silver threads.

”So beautiful...”

Seeing this scene, Illya couldn’t help but marvel, while Little Hei stared intently at Fiore’s chest, quickly taking out a personal terminal and snapping a photo with a ”click.”

”Little Hei, what are you doing?”

”This sister’s chest is also quite large, I plan to take it back to compare and see who is the biggest in the Heavenly Dao Palace!”

”Does that even matter?”

Illya was completely baffled, but Little Hei just chuckled, saying no more.

”You can open your eyes now.”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng’s words, Fiore slowly opened her eyes, bowing her head to look at her dress in surprise, but her expression soon turned to astonishment. She slowly moved her legs, gently stepping on the ground.

”I... stood up?”

Fiore’s voice trembled slightly as she anxiously watched her legs. Ever since birth, Fiore had been accustomed to a life in a wheelchair; for her, walking on her own legs was something beyond reach. Her legs were more like decorative items than actual legs. Because of this, Fiore even yearned for the power of the Holy Grail to allow her to stand up.

But now... has her wish been fulfilled?

”I stood up, I can walk?”

Mumbling to herself, Fiore somewhat stiffly lifted her leg, but in the next moment, she cried out as she lost her balance and fell. Luckily, as Fiore was about to hit the ground, Fang Zheng caught her in one motion.

”Be careful, this is your first time walking, maintaining balance won’t be easy... well, in the state of a Magical Girl, your legs can walk. However, when you revert, you might need some rehab training. After all, you’ve never used your legs to walk from birth until now; it’s almost like starting from scratch, which might take quite a bit of time.”

”I don’t mind, thank you, Lord Fang Zheng...”

Speaking this, Fiore tightly embraced Fang Zheng, her voice even becoming a bit choked up.

”Thank you...”

For Fiore, the joy of a dream come true was so sudden that she was caught off guard. After a while, Fiore finally canceled her Magical Girl form and sat back in her wheelchair. Although feeling her legs go limp pained her somewhat, it was different from before; this time, Fiore could sense that her goal... was within reach.

With gratitude and joy, Fiore quickly reported to Fang Zheng about the progress of the World Tree of a Thousand Realms over these days.

”According to your instructions, we had a pleasant cooperation with this country’s government; they are quite satisfied with the material formulas and technologies we provided and are willing to collaborate further with us. However... there are some minor issues.”

”What issue?”

”The World Tree family currently needs to relocate to a land with spirit veins, but I consulted with lawyers in this country, and they informed us that private land transactions are prohibited...”

Come to think of it, Fang Zheng forgot... this place practices a land nationalization policy...

”If that’s the case, then just choose Japan. Over there... land should be available for private sale.”

Fang Zheng didn’t forget how he met Kuonji Arcueid as Red Ponytail before, who calmly stated that an entire mountain was the private property of Kuonji Temple...

MMP, capitalism is impressive, eh? I’ll buy Mount Fuji just to show you!

Can a problem solved with money even be called a problem?!

”We thought the same, but now there’s an issue...”

”What issue?”

”It’s like this...”

As she spoke, Fiore showed a troubled expression.

”Just recently, rumors came from Japan about a new mage being born, said to have inherited the Fifth Magic...”

”A mage who inherited the Fifth Magic...”

Upon hearing Fiore’s words, Fang Zheng immediately understood her concern. After all, the World Tree of a Thousand Realms has no roots in East Asia, and now with the emergence of a mage in Japan, constructing a base there without communicating with this mage could lead to problems.

”Leave it to me to handle, I’ll go and talk to them. By the way, do you have any information about that mage?”

”Certainly, Lord Fang Zheng.”

As she spoke, Fiore nodded.

”According to our investigation, she hasn’t studied magecraft for long, yet successfully Awakened and inherited the Fifth Magic. Currently, she’s been granted the title of Threefold Color . Blue by the Mage’s Association, and her name is... Aoko Aozaki.”

”...What?”

Hearing this name, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but be taken aback, then quickly recalled a certain unfortunate soul he had blasted into oblivion.

Are you kidding me?
