Super Gene Hunting Ground

”Cough, cough, cough,”

The tribal leader Ah Bao coughed ferociously, looking angrily at Tanaka Jiao, he roared loudly:

”It’s all your great idea. Look, we haven’t even seen a single hair of the enemies this whole night, but we exhausted ourselves instead.”

Tanaka Jiao was also continuously coughing; the smoke here was much denser than outside. He cautiously responded with a smile,

”Chief Ah Bao, maybe they have been smoked to death inside? How about we stop burning for now and check on the situation?”

Ah Bao, hearing this, felt it sort of made sense, mainly as he couldn’t stand the smoke anymore.

”Okay, let’s stop first and take a look. Let’s extinguish the fire. This smoke is unbearable, cough, cough, cough,”

Several tribespeople gathered their Wind Element Techniques, one of them, proficient in Ice Element Technique, shot a wave of ice at the burning branches at the cave entrance, instantly freezing and extinguishing the flames.

Gu Beifeng kicked away a pile of rubble inside the cave, and a large amount of water mixed with stones rushed down from the cave.

However, due to Ah Bao and others continuously using their Wind Element Technique to inject strong wind pressures into the cave, the upwards-rushing strong wind collided with the downwards-rushing stone waters, overpowering the water flow and stopping the stones and a large amount of water about twenty meters away from the entrance.

Only a small amount of water slowly flowed down along the cave walls.

The stone water flow that was blocked inside the cave reached the length of over ten meters, creating immense pressure.

At this moment, after Ah Bao and the others stopped injecting wind pressure into the cave, the stone water flow inside immediately rushed down, roaring loudly.

”Roar, roar,”

The roaring sounds grew from far to near, from quiet to loud,

”What’s that sound?”

Ah Bao listened attentively.

”It seems like it’s coming from inside the cave.”

Tanaka Jiao said, looking puzzledly at the cave entrance.

One of the tribespeople walked to the entrance and peered inside, trying to see what was happening.

Roar, roar,

The noise grew louder.

”Boom!”

With a loud bang, a strong current of water mixed with stones burst out from the entrance, splashing several meters away.

The tribesperson standing at the entrance staggered back, falling on his backside, covered in mud and muck. Although not injured, he was in a very sorry state, angrily wailing.

Ah Bao and a few tribespeople who were nearer to the cave were also covered in mud and extremely annoyed.

Tanaka Jiao watched the rushing water and stones, bewildered, not understanding what had happened inside the cave.

”Whack, whack, what’s going on? What exactly happened?”

Ah Bao shouted loudly.

After the first strong current rushed out, the water flow inside the cave eased significantly, and a shallow stream flowed casually along the cave walls.

The water quickly entered the mine pit, spreading to lower areas.

Ah Bao was furious, having hustled all night without killing a single Miner, instead, they ended up in a miserable plight.

About a dozen tribespeople standing outside the mine were also at a loss watching the continuous water flow from inside the cave.

One tribesperson leader came over and said to Ah Bao:

”Chief Ah Bao, we must go now, if we don’t leave soon, David and his men will be here, and if we get trapped in the mine, it would be dreadful.”

Getting trapped inside the mine was a scenario absolutely to avoid; even as reckless as Ah Bao was, he knew the danger of it. But today, it seemed they had been outfoxed by Yang Xiao and his group, and it was hard to swallow this frustration.

The tribesperson, Ah Mu, whose right hand had been severed by Yang Xiao, was particularly furious,

”Chief Ah Bao, we should retreat first, I have a way to deal with them.”

”Ah Mu, what do you suggest?”

”After we get out of the mine, let’s destroy the mine entrance and bury them in the mine, how about that?”

”This?”

Ah Bao was stunned.

Under normal circumstances, there was an unwritten agreement between the tribal people and the base: they could rob and kill miners, but it was best not to destroy the mineshaft.

Prospecting for mineshafts was not easy, especially finding veins was difficult. The more than one hundred meter deep mineshaft required specialized equipment to drill, consuming time, effort, and quite a bit of money.

For people like David at the base, destroying a mineshaft was a far greater loss than killing ten miners.

Moreover, once the mineshaft was destroyed, mining would be impossible, and the tribal people would not be able to extort Crystal Stones.

Destroying the mineshaft was not a good idea for both the tribal people and David’s base, as both depended on the mining from the mineshaft.

However, today Ah Bao was indeed very angry, one could even say furiously enraged.

”Alright, if I don’t let out this anger today, I simply won’t be able to sleep peacefully when I go back, let’s go.”

A group of people ran to the bottom of the mineshaft and took the elevator to the mining area.

At this moment, the sky was already slightly bright, the distant mountains could already be vaguely seen.

Ah Bao and the others were covered in mud and in a sorry state, having been tormented all night, they were also very exhausted, gritting their teeth, he said:

”Ha ha ha, I’m so angry today, everyone step back, I’m going to destroy this mineshaft and bury those annoying Earth pigs in it forever.”

Forty to fifty tribal people immediately ran back a hundred meters.

Ah Bao leapt up, soaring into the sky, swung his hands a few times in front of him, and a red fireball about one meter in diameter appeared in front of him.

The air around violently contracted, a powerful oppressive force spread out.

”Explode for me!”

Ah Bao shouted loudly, throwing the red fireball into the mineshaft, and with a loud ”boom”, the mountain shook and the ground trembled.

Booming,

The straight, approximately four to five meter diameter mineshaft, the well’s rocky walls were blasted open, a large amount of rock fell, the mineshaft collapsed, solidly filled.

The entire area around the mineshaft about twenty meters in radius collapsed, forming a large crater with a diameter of forty to fifty meters.

Tanaka Jiao and five other Ice Wolf Island people watching nearby, were stunned by Ah Bao’s terrifying combat power.

They knew how hard the purple stone mineshaft was, they didn’t expect that with one move, Ah Bao would collapse a hundred meter deep mineshaft, his combat power was absolutely beyond what they, as King Level Evolvers, could contend with.

Ah Bao landed on the ground, took a long sigh of relief, finally venting most of the frustration in his heart.

”Ha ha, I want to see how these annoying Earth pigs are going to escape from the mine pit, die, ha ha... Let’s go!”

Ah Bao led dozens of tribal people out of the mining area, quickly disappearing into the forest.

...

Yang Xiao and others were inside a cave.

Now that there was no smoke, and with the cave below having been cleared, the air inside the mine pit could circulate up, everyone finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Now the problem was how to escape.

”Everyone hold on a little longer, I estimated roughly, after tormenting the whole night, it should almost be dawn,

These tribal people definitely dare not stay, they should be leaving now, once they are gone, we can go back to the mine pit, and then escape outside the mineshaft.”

From death to life, although they had not completely escaped yet, they all knew for certain they had a chance at surviving, and the mood relaxed, they began to talk and laugh.

Suddenly,

”Boom!”

Everyone heard a muffled sound and felt the ground tremble, the cave shook,

Three small dripping holes in the ceiling cracked with a snap, the spray of water suddenly increased by two to three times,

The rapid water flow roared into the cave.

”What’s happening?”

”Damn, is it an earthquake?”

”F*ck, what bad luck, to encounter so many life-threatening situations in one night?”
